But Nick and his store are very charming, Nick and his assistants know everything about cheese, and they have a phenomenal variety from France as well as exotics from places like Norway and Ireland. The Käseladen am Merianplatz does have a best-in-town, though. Their Quiches, whether Lorraine or vegetarian, are fantastic: filled to the brim with gooey, aromatic, high-quality cheese. They make a fresh batch every day, and I can't remember where you'd ever get better ones.

I could have spent the day buying cheese here :-)) They have an amazing array of goats chess and lots of hard and soft cheeses including my all time favourite Brie avec Truffle :-))) it's almost all artisanal cheese and French is the only language here. Brushing up on my vocabulary was essential to shop and taste here ;-)) Service is very friendly and prices are not too bad. If you are looking for great cheese in town, I would put this place on your must visit list. Can't wait to go back here again.
