Not sure if…read morethose alone were worth the money because with the conversion they easily reached $20 USD each. But they were tasty. I'm writing this review to talk about the small plate of treats they offered us while we sat at the bar: * Tomato w/ ricotta cheese: As expected, good quality ricotta. The tomato was nice and light. Overall, what you see is what you taste. * Zucchini w/ dab of tomato sauce on top: Very light and simple. Not much flavor from the sauce but I think the zucchini is meant to lead here. * Shrimp w/ avocado cream: Absolutely my favorite. Soft and sweet! * Bufula mozzarella: PERFECT temperature. Mozzarella shell is not restrictive at all.

Served with a few munchies (no Milanese "aperitivo", you mind: this is a pre or post dinner place, or you can order from the full restaurant menu) and a glass of iced water (not American size and no refill was offered though). The prices are high even for Milan standards but 15 euros for a well crafted cocktail in a stylish location is well spent for me. Small and cozy, gentle music, not crowded. Will be back, oh yeah.

In many other bars, the happy hour is just some sandwiches and salads: that's not the case of the Slice. For 8 euros you get a drink and access to a gigantic buffet, with pizza, gnocchi, pasta, bread and nutella, fruit, fries and many other things; and you will never run out of food, since waiters keep replenish the buffet with new things. I strongly suggest to get there at 7-7:30 pm, especially if you are a large group, since the place is small and you might wait some time before getting a table.
