After a quick Google search for boudoir photographers, came across Jrenee Boudoir's website. From the moment I read Jess's about us page, I knew she was the one. I could tell she would be able to capture the essence of what I was looking for, while making me feel comfortable, and I was absolutely right! The entire planning process was super easy, from booking the appointment to the initial phone call with Jess. She guided me through every step, ensuring I felt prepared and at ease. On the day of the shoot, it felt as though I was having a photoshoot with a long-time friend. I was so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire session. When I walked out of the studio, I felt so PROUD of myself. My goal was to achieve a casual sexy look, and that is exactly what I got. When I saw the pictures, I was in absolute awe. I was so scared going into the shoot (as it was my first) but Amy made me feel completely comfortable, she was great when I had questions or needed direction and I almost forgot what I was doing since I was having so much fun. After leaving the shoot, I had a sense of confidence that I had never felt before. And then after seeing the photos it just made me feel 100X more confident! I signed up for a boudoir shoot with Laura, and every step of the process was affirming, positive, and professional. Laura is a master at her craft, and she made the whole experience so fun. At our initial consult, she gave me ideas for outfits, she knew the perfect location that we could use, and she encouraged me to text her with any questions along the way. She was so down-to-earth and positive that my nervousness washed away - I almost forgot we were taking intimate photos of me! She knows how to make you feel relaxed. The day of the shoot, she played early 2000's hip-hop music from a Bluetooth speaker and we just had fun. I had just turned 40 and had been grappling with post partum depression and dealing with big…read morechanges and challenges-- having just moved from NYC to Austin and starting over with a new life in a new town with a newborn and toddler in tow. I felt like I really need to recenter and focus on making myself happy. I committed myself to fitness, working on my mental and physical state and wanted to celebrate my bad ass post partum body after baby with beautiful photographs outdoors in this new town that's now home. I found Laura Saucedo with Inspire Boudoir online as I was researching outdoor boudoir photographers. Her work really spoke to me and after meeting with her (a fellow mama who could empathize with my motherhood journey) it felt like we were friends and I could totally get naked with her. Hahaha! I had the most empowering, liberating, and amazing experience being shot nude in the waters of Krause Springs with Laura (which she has private access to during their off season which felt so lucky having the place all to ourselves!). She was so much fun to hang out with, with her white girl dancing (to help make things lighthearted and fun) and her positive, fluid vibes (go with the flow, accommodating changes, being organic, and embracing the day and whatever temperature, lighting and elements came with it). It was 70 degrees in December and the sun was shining at noon but the water was frigid cold.. and I am deathly afraid of deep water and can't swim but wanted to take photos under the waterfall (which required swimming). I packed a kick board to help me get to the rock landing under the waterfall but was overcome by the freezing cold water and compounded by my fear of drowning and was clutching onto the tree roots for dear life... but something from within overcame my fear and I pushed away from the side and got to the landing under the waterfall! Yay!!!!! And Laura was able to take these majestic and magical photos under the waterfall and in the spring that day! This experience taught me so much about the importance of not having to be perfectly planned, the grace in being adaptable and the beauty in that. Laura is an incredibly gifted photographer, such an amazing light and being to be around and her work is profound, timeless and empowering. It was the absolute best gift I could have ever given myself (and my husband!), commemorating my 40th birthday and I highly recommend Laura with my whole heart! She's worth every penny and even gives back to endearing causes. I love that so much and I love Laura so much! Thank you for the amazing photos and the memorable experience that I will cherish for a lifetime!

The website still had the same info and when I went to that there was no way for me to reach Argentina. I reached out to my credit card company, they to could not reach her so they refunded my money to me. A few weeks AFTER my money was given back to AMEX said that the merchant reached out to them and showed proof of purchase. As I told AMEX, I never said I didn't pay, there is just no way to ANYONE from this company to get my $$ back. I since then have been trying to reach this "Argentina" via email so I have a paper trail and SHOCKER, I have heard NOTHING in about 1.5 months since asking the owner about my refund.

During the trial she did two hair styles, neither was 100% what I wanted, but she planned to do things from each of the styles. She did my airbrush make-up, with false lashes, during the trial as well. After doing a trial with Jessica, I had concerns that my hair would not be exactly like I would want it, which was a true vintage style with 2-3 large pin curls and a high/big swooped bang (think vintage hollywood), but after spending $205 on the trial ($100 hair, $105 make-up), I hesitated to book another stylist. The day of my wedding Jessica arrived on time and did hair and make-up for my mom, sister, younger cousin and myself. Everyone's hair and make-up turned out well and Jessica did do touch-ups prior to leaving. My hairstyle turned out very well and I had many compliments on the vintage look. Jessica nailed it! She did however, leave before helping us place my veil into my style. My mom and sister handled it, but we were disappointed she left without helping; she did practice with it during the trial. We have received our wedding photos and video and I was disappointed to see that in photos taken 1 hour after my hair style was completed, the curl/bobbypin was falling out and sticking off my head at a 90 degree angle (we were not running, in the wind, etc.). This may be minor, but when I paid over $200 for a stylist, I'd expect my hair to hold for that time. Thankfully my mom and sister were able to fix it when I arrived to the ceremony site. Several other photos post-ceremony also have hair in the back falling out of the pins, which was very disappointing. The other's hair and make-up held fairly well throughout, but did have a few pins fall out as well. Overall I was happy the day of (which is what mattered), but disappointed after seeing the photos (which is what we have forever).
