We booked our appointment 6 months in advance. And let me tell you it was worth the wait. You aren't just paying for photos, you are paying for an experience. Amy (I think so sorry!) was incredible! She helped our group, she plays stylist, and your photographer. She pulled out multiple different outfits for each of us to see what we chose. Let me tell you - SHE NAILED IT! Everything matched our true personality so well as the head pieces she picked for us to compliment out outfits. It was such a fun experience and the photos came out beautifully. This was such a great experience and we got some really unique and beautiful shots.

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Witch Pix in Salem. I booked an appointment from 4:00…read morePM to 4:45 PM and received a confirmation reflecting that time. When we arrived, we were informed that our reservation had been changed to 1:45 PM. The employee stated that an email had been sent notifying me of the change, but I never received one, nor did I authorize or agree to the change. Despite having my original booking confirmation, I was told there would be no refund. What made the situation worse was the front desk employee's attitude. She was rude, condescending, and dismissive rather than making any effort to address the issue professionally. As someone who works in the legal field, I find it concerning that a business would change a confirmed reservation without the customer's consent and then refuse to issue a refund. At a minimum, management should review its reservation procedures and provide additional customer service training. We traveled to Salem looking forward to this experience and made time in our schedule specifically for this appointment. Instead, we were left disappointed by both the handling of our reservation and the lack of professionalism. Customers should not be held responsible for scheduling changes they did not request or authorize. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business based on our experience.

Susannah met us in the morning to accommodate his nap schedule, which we appreciate deeply. While he was a bit overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of the park in the morning we got some fun and serious photos. Susannah brought some toys that make noise to get the baby's attention and the novelty of them caught our son's attention better than toys from home. The bubble machine was also a nice touch. Overall she offers high quality service (photoshoot and editing) at a fair cost with a ton of flexibility. We will use her again if we choose to have another photoshoot. I am a bit of a sporty tomboy so I wasn't sure if I would match up to the feminine approach Mr. Black was suggesting. Not only did he help bring out my feminine side but he helped me feel proud of my femininity and to feel accomplished. The pictures he took were absolutely breath-taking. I couldn't believe that these pictures were me! I couldn't stop looking at them... every part was delightful in every way. I wound up giving these pictures to my now-husband for a wedding gift and he was VERY, very pleased. Additionally, Shawn Black is a very down-to-Earth and personable professional. He provides a comfortable, easy-going vibe when you meet with him and makes you feel insanely comfortable when he is taking photos. You feel like you are speaking with a friend rather than "just another wedding vendor". I have seen much of his wedding work as well; had I not chosen a photographer already, I would have begged him to do mine! He is absolutely fabulous and I truly can't say enough about his talents. He is truly the best!

She was kind and patient with our baby and the hour flew by! Our baby had a great time! It was a really hard time for us to be in a pandemic, with a newborn, as new parents, while isolated. Missing out on our newborn photos was a small but nonetheless heartbreaking loss for me.
