I had been thinking about doing a boudoir session for about 6 months for my husband and my 5th wedding anniversary, but when the day finally came, I was so nervous. Quickly I realized, Katherine is extremely talented - not just her photography skills, but also her people skills. She made me so comfortable! I didn't feel awkward at all. The entire process was such an awesome experience - from my initial email exchange with Katherine, to my makeup and hair with Tara, to the photos themselves, all the way to my viewing session. I am so excited to get my album to give to my husband. I would highly recommend Katherine to anyone interested in doing boudoir photos for their significant other (or themselves!). It was an awesome experience for sure!

When I booked the party I didn't know what to expect and it truly exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect start to our day and all of our pictures came out incredible. We had so much fun hanging out, having a couple of drinks and taking turns having our 20 minute individual sessions. I really can't say enough good things about Katherine and the talent she has for her craft. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease during each of our sessions and it showed in the pictures. The pictures were gorgeous and all of us were very pleased with them. We were so happy with the individual shots Katherine took but we were especially in love with the group shots she took of us at the end. They came out incredible! We had some inspiration pictures we wanted to replicate and Katherine was completely up for it and beyond accommodating. There's a great white brick wall outside across the street from the studio so we took some shots out there popping champagne and throwing confetti with the bride. Those pictures were my favorite and I truly couldn't be happier with the results. I'm really not one to post reviews but I felt like I had to get the good word out about Katherine Henry Photography and more specifically about hosting a bachelorette party at her studio. It was SOO much better than having a cliche spa day! The bride loved it, we all had so much fun and we have epic pictures we'll be able to cherish forever! Thanks Katherine! :)

She was kind and patient with our baby and the hour flew by! Our baby had a great time! We originally hired Kate to do our newborn photos last year (April 2020), and unbeknownst to us...or anyone, they ended up being canceled because of the pandemic. It was a really hard time for us to be in a pandemic, with a newborn, as new parents, while isolated. Missing out on our newborn photos was a small but nonetheless heartbreaking loss for me. Kate was so graceful and kind, she offered alternatives and came to shoot us (from afar) outside at our home...those photos will be forever memorable. It's clear she loves her work, but its also clear she is a compassionate and caring human. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Kate.

There aren't enough stars on Yelp to properly express the awesomeness that Hello Love Photography…read more I haven't planned any weddings before (I intend for this to be my only one) but from what I've read and heard, there are a few key things you should look for in a photographer, and you'll find them all in Casey: a friendly, genuinely warm personality that puts even the most camera-shy at ease; lightning-speed response times, whether it's responding to e-mails or getting photo edits back; and limitless talent that captures even the most intimate moments in a truly artistic way. My fiance and I recently did our engagement shots with Casey and she was so great in accommodating our unusual requests, such as shooting in a movie theater during a movie; inside a busy coffee shop; and inside a library. Also, we shot on a weekday evening, and had to reschedule a bunch of times due to weather and the library's odd hours--Casey was a saint and rolled with it. The result was well worth it, we were over the moon with the photos she took! They were exactly what we were looking for--vintagey and cool, with great use of lighting and angles. Our friends and family also had nothing but great things to say about them. I might mention that we are on a tight budget, and Casey's rates are more than reasonable. She also shoots with her husband, Troy, and they are very sweet together. I can't wait to work with them again in August when we finally get hitched! Thanks, guys, keep up the great work!

Casey is immensely talented and a complete joy to work with…read more When my husband and I looked for a wedding photographer, we felt like a lot of the photographers we interviewed involved some sort of compromise--they took great candids but their details shots were so-so, or they were great at detail shots but took cheesy posed photos, etc. Casey is fantastic at everything, so you don't have to compromise. She is particularly exceptional at couples portraits. She is has a very romantic, natural style. We ended up with dozens of beautiful, frame-able portraits of us that look totally unique (i.e. not like every other wedding photo where the couple is jumping in the air, or staggered ten feet apart and both looking off in the distance or any other cheesy poses--although I am sure if you want those things, Casey will do them). She is also a pleasure to work with. She was super easy to get in touch and very flexible and low-maintenance. During the wedding, she always seemed to be around when I wanted to grab her for a particular photo, but her presence was never intrusive. Casey is awesome. Hire her!

But to be fair,…read morethere are a lot of strange people on the internet these days... it was almost Valentines Day, which is just before my boyfriend's birthday... I did my research, and emailed the woman who runs the company, Sara. Asked her about a million questions, via email. Chatted with a few close friends about how strange or crazy I was to get pictures taken of myself by a stranger, at a hotel, in my undies. We decided there wasn't anything to worry about. It was a bit pricey, and leading up to it, I wondered if it would really be worth it! I had my friend go shopping with me for some matching pieces of lingerie beforehand, and then she walked with me to the Marlowe Hotel. I chatted with the lady who did my makeup and hair, who was really really nice, and god, I wish I could remember her name... but if I need to be photographed in the future, I want her to apply airbrush makeup for me all over again! I was made to feel very at ease while the photo session was going on, Sara is a very pleasant person, and told me about her career, and how she started. I had the last session of the day, I believe, cause the makeup artist left before we started. I waited about two weeks after that, got my proofs, had my girlfriends look at them with me, and chose a few. Waited a few days longer, and went to pick up my package at the post office. I was overjoyed at the quality of pictures she had taken. I'm not alllll that, and it was a bit dicey, I think, to get pictures taken in my undies, but she took really nice pictures! I was very satisfied with the experience, and would do it again - if I could justify the cost... But have been trying to wrangle my family to get a family photo worth looking at, and for this, I'll hunt down Sara Sun! The only thing, in looking over the photo album to write this review... I'd say it's unfortunate that the makeup artist didn't blend the color of the makeup on my face, with the rest of me, cause... dayum! You can tell the difference in a few shots. But, that's my bad for having a naturally darker color skin on my face than on my legs!

Grace from Blushing Brides did my hair and makeup there for the shoot, and that was amazing. Sara was very professional during the shoot- she made me feel incredibly at ease. Once I explained to her that I was taking the pictures to mark the first 50 pounds lost of my weight loss journey, she went right to work trying to make me look sexy. As she snapped away, we talked about almost everything - she erally does have a way to make you feel comfortable while you're in your underwear.
