John provided detailed analysis of what a good sales price would be. Given the comps for the neighborhood, it was also aggressive. After providing an initial walk through with ideas of how to make the house appealing to every potential buyer, John also spent an entire day, and evening, staging the house. Our house is fairly clutter free and well appointed, but John just has a knack for making things look that much better; It was fun to watch him in action. Our house looked so beautiful we almost did not want to sell it! With 2 young boys and very busy lives, we were extremely concerned with keeping the house "showing ready" at all times. Obviously given the preparation that went into the house, John does not believe in a "slap it up and hope it sticks" approach that I had grown accustomed to with other realtors. This became evident when we received an offer for above asking price on the first day, which set a strong comparable standard for the neighborhood. The events between the offer and closing can often be wrought with issues. From the inspection, to the appraisal, and the closing itself, everything was handled very well and went fast and smooth thanks in large part to the diligence of John. He is not afraid to act on your behalf to speed the process up, whether it be speaking to an appraiser or calling a lender. Mandy Moss and her group at Republic Title, the agency John uses, were also very friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. John is truly a consummate professional at all times. During the whole process I never worried about being able to speak to him almost instantly. No email, text, or phone call went unanswered for more than an hour; most of the time it was instantaneous. Any detail needing his attention to keep the process going was immediately dealt with. It always felt like it was his own house he was selling. If you want a Realtor that works hard for you, John is definitely it.

My wife and I worked with Jeff Brand, he had a great presentation along with a first and second…read moremeeting. After that he lacked Customer Service, Customer Empathy, professionalism and responsiveness. First off, when you are moving, leaving one job and starting a new one in another state, you need lots of help and support from your Realtor. You pay them to constantly be in contact with you, go over many times the key cost of selling your house outside commission. Jeff handed us off many times to his "team" and wasn't readily available. We often had to leave messages or talk to his staff which didn't have all the answers we wanted. He is out of town often and it's his time off. We had a medium to high end home in Bridlewood, Flower Mound, TX and felt very under represented. From the lack of response, to the non-professional photos, to not reviewing our closing statement with us before we signed, just bad customer service. I also told him many times I didn't want to pay for a home warranty for the buyer but it was put inside an addendum I didn't thoroughly read. So regardless of me telling him I didn't want it, he knew I was so busy so he just put it in the addendum and knew we would sign. I also had to ask him to check in with my wife often, which he didn't, maybe he had an office staff person call her, but not him. I told him I felt like he didn't represent me well against what he stated was a less experienced realtor as I feel they got more than needed. I asked Jeff for a refund of some of the commission because he didn't perform well, his response was I don't owe you anything and you signed everything. He doesn't care about the service he provided, he measures customer service by you signing the documents and moving along. So, therefore I give him a bad review. If he would have refunded some money and covered for his lack of negotiating skills on my house and for the poor customer service, I would have felt much better. Also, our first buyer was a cash offer that dropped out. it turns out they rented a home that Jeff is representing, he didn't even have the professionalism to tell us, he just stated they weren't interested in our house anymore. A neighbor informed us. He stated he didn't make any money, not one penny, but I know who rented the house he represented and they are wealth clients who he would like in the future.

For the past 3 years I have been purchasing and renovating homes in the Ferris community. The reason is simple, Don understands the local market like no other broker I have meet. With each sale he has taken his time to help me not just sell the house quickly but for the highest price possible. Each sale has had it's issues arise and each time Don has stepped up to help us solve to issue quickly. I intend to continue to use Don as my agent. As a new home buyer, the entire process seemed overwhelming but Patrick broke it down into steps and really moved me along efficiently! I had a lot of questions, concerns, and worries.... he reassured me each and every time! I had to be calling him and texting him regularly and he was always there for me. I can't say how much that means to me when I was about to freak out. He is very even-tempered! Other than his great personality he was able to get us our dream home, in our price range, and in great condition! I'm VERY impressed. I've already told several friends about his miracle-working. I LOVE my new and first home. LOVE IT! It's what my partner and I have always wanted and Patrick not only found it for us but secured it for us before it was snatched up by anyone else. Another great thing that I found out when Patrick worked his magic as my Realtor was that he is VERY connected. He knows a "guy" for all your new home needs. Need a fence? He knows a guy. In fact, he already knew the person who was preparing our home for sale and was able to get updates made for us that way. Before making our choice on this dream home, Patrick showed us houses every weekend for a few months. It was a lot of time and effort for him and without that, we wouldn't appreciate how awesome our home is compared with the other options available at the time.
