I had not worked previously with Hugh or Anita, but the first call with them made me confident that they would work hard for us and have the experience to navigate all the bumps we might run into during escrow. Anita went straight to work, negotiating with the listing agent/sellers. To put this all in perspective, we identified the home we wanted to buy on Friday afternoon. By Friday evening, Anita had coordinated with the seller to accept our offer exclusively (they had 3 other offers on the table), and Anita submitted the offer on our behalf the same evening. Less than 24 hours, we received an email acceptance of our offer and by Monday morning, we opened escrow with the contract signed by the sellers. While this was all happening from Friday-Monday, she was out of town and YET still working diligently for us. It takes an experienced agent to be able to coordinate and close escrow within 30 days. That being said, we closed escrow in 18 DAYS, and it speaks volumes to Anita's incredible work ethic. She was extremely organized, responsive, and kept everything going per or even ahead of schedule. She always gave me a heads up on things that were coming up that needed to be signed, and she reviewed each document with me thoroughly, highlighting items that would be important to note.
