Not only do they do delicious meals and employ great staff they also have very resalable prices and a generous portion size. This is hands down the best take away I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

One of my favourites is Harrogate Blue from Shepherd's Purse and I bought a large lump. The L&C wrapping showed a best by date of 26 May. When I got home on the Sunday I put the wrapped parcel in the fridge. On Monday I opened it to have some with lunch. It immediately did not smell right. Upon unwrapping the original Shepherd's Purse label had best by date of 3 April. The rind was oozing and over-ripe. I emailed Lewis and Cooper, no response. On Wednesday I emailed again with no response. DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The store also contains a meat and cheese counter, with some fantastic pates. There are usually a few nice samples on the top of this counter which are well worth a try! The cake decorations they sell are great, and could really make a normal cake special. There is also a cafe upstairs, which I have yet to try, but if its anything like the rest of the shop, I'm sure it's fab! The only reason I have given this 4 stars instead of 5 is because everytime I enter this shop, I get a horrible buzzing in my ears. Hmmm Nevertheless, don't let that put you off! Well worth a look.

Although the car park is quite large, it is almost always full on busy days, such as Saturday, as it is in a prime location to park and go into town. The store does have a wide range of products although they seem to discontinue certain products randomly (usually the things that I want to buy) which causes a lot of frustration. They have a good clothing range, although I have seen bigger at other Tesco stores around the country. The staff are mostly friendly, although at times it does seem like they are just constantly filling the shelves which leaves the trolleys that they are filling from blocking the aisles. This Tesco has 4 self service counters which I like to use as you can scan and pack at your own pace.

Do you get too busy and tired to cook? Does packing in fresh veg become a strain? Are you sick of getting a take away, because at the end of the day it's easier than cooking? Have you lost the will to find new recipes to learn? Here's the secret: visit Cook. Basically, they're like the microwaveable meal kings. And, that sounds like a slight -but it's not. What: Home cooked, freshly frozen, deliciously healthy, wonderfully diverse meals. Frozen in a little microwavable/oven cook tray for you to bob in and eat. Honestly, I was so overly impressed with what they had to offer. The chap in the shop was, for starters, an absolute star. He introduced me to the ideals behind the franchise, and where it came from, talked me through all of the products on offer and we basically ended up having a lovely natter. There are huge packed fridges, filled to the brim with delicious meals, in a range of sizes and cuisines. Everything from Thai red curry, to chilli con carne, to Indian dishes and some other items that were so exotic I've forgotten what they're even called. It really is a place of solution, especially if you're often tired and end up relying on substandard ready meals. They've also a range of desserts, drinks and other such edibles to browse, so I ended up grabbing a Thai curry, chilli and banoffee pie. I've had the chilli and it was just epic. The flavours were fantastic, and went perfectly with the veggie rice, and all for 5 minutes of microwave time. Of course, the washing up was cut down dramatically, so I almost felt a little lost after eating as there was so little to do. The prices are reasonable, perhaps not for a complete eating solution compared to home cooking, but certainly for when you're in a pinch and don't want to eat crud baked in oil, that's been greased up a little. Basically, I've not known such excellent customer service from the wonderful chap in the shop, and never known anything that I've put in a microwave taste edible, let alone that gourmet. You really should get down there and see what's cookin'. And on that note, I'm off to eat my dessert. Sucks to be you - you don't have Banoffee goodness!

It is quite expensive compared to other non branded takeaways so I only normally go there when there's an offer on. I find the staff there a bit rude sometimes and quite snappy when I ring up to order. I normally collect my food there and in person the staff are quite unfriendly too. However the food is always pretty good. The pizzas are big and filling and there are side dishes and desserts available too. Dominos is obviously a well known brand so they should be living upto their good name, in this case I feel the food does that but not the customer service.
