I really enjoy utilizing their app for their scan & go. I never had issues with the bar code or app problems. (Plus, I can see my total as I roam around the store.) I agree that Sam's Club offer more brand name products while Costco offers organic items. The store is clean and depending on the time of the day, there may be a small crowd. Overall, I love their scan and go. I also notice self checkout lanes and lanes with cashiers. Their little cafe offer similar food choices like Costco. Also the trip to their gas station was quick, simple, and easy. I did not need to use a physical card like I do at Costco. I could have used their app just fine. On the app, I noticed I can add a family member with the same address too. Overall, I'm pretty happy shopping at Sam's Club.

Online ordered Saturday morning about 5:00a my monthly two rotisserie chickens for 11:00 - 12:00…read morepick up....before the snowppcalypse that night. I arrived about 12:30 after receiving Your Order Is Ready emails. I pull in to the lot, check in & wait. A few minutes later a gal knocks on my window asking if im nicole? I confirm and she tells me.... "i dont have any chickens for 45 minutes." I ask what i can do? She says i can either wait or cancel the order? I told her gas is too expensive to leave & canceling wasnt an option...so....i wait. The second star was because the apologetic Jomaji brought out the chickens in 35 minutes, 10 minutes earlier than i anticipated. I asked what had happened? Jomaji said "with the coming storm they just weren't keeping up with the chicken orders." I understand that...things happen, people panic order. It was just frustrating as i had ordered 7+ hours earlier & they even said my order was ready. IAH other past chicken orders Ive picked up have been timely but yesterday was irritating. I literally live down the block, walking distance from this sams club. I will do everything in my power to make sure you get written up and/or fired for this. Whats so hard about showing the people who help your check some common decency?? This incident occurred at 12:16 pm. I had just got out of dialysis and really needed to put gas in my car. I thought i have a sams club, why not? Its way cheaper. Wrong, i got cursed at, the guy was screaming at me to move my car because i was "taking too long to fuel" it was literally only 2 minutes into me trying to pay for the gas. What a real dirttbag, i just got out of dialysis, as if thats not hard enough to deal with 3x a week, lets throw in a belligerent assman to curse at you and help rush you out the line. I waited like every one else. I will see him eventually, & i will speak my mind. Thats not right that you have employees like that. Scum of the earth. For example, a beautifully decorated large cake that serves 24 is only $20. Also, you can't beat their self checkout on their app; it's SO fast and convenient. But if you need to speak to a customer service representative, the lines can get pretty long. When we compare Costco vs Sam's, they are so similar to each other, so if we're getting large quantities of things, I use both of their apps to compare prices before buying. At Costco, I prefer the prepared foods and their milk jugs more than Sam's. But I like Sam's baked goods and rotisserie chicken more than Costco. Both Sam's and Costco have tires, pharmacy, cafe, and optical; they are very similar. Like all warehouse bulk places, prices are usually lower but selection is hit or miss.
