Right in the middle of Mukwonago, it's a nice spot to stop quickly for water or snacks…read more Unfortunately they didn't have any bubblrs which is so sad. I think every place in Wisconsins should have those. I was glad to find bloom sparkling water as those taste similar so at least I got something. My boyfriend also got water and chapstick. He got burts bees which gas stations don't always have so he was very content.

Let me preface this review by saying: 1. I have 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical…read moreindustry 2. I have worked in a pharmacy 3. I have family members that are pharmacists PRESCRIPTION SERVICE STORE #07039 Once again, a prescription (possibly two) submitted to this pharmacy was "on backorder". About 50% of the prescriptions I send to this pharmacy can't be filled in a timely manner & require multiple trips store. Today I had 3 scripts, only one was available. These are common meds - not compounded or requiring a special pharmacy. While backorders & drug shortages do occur, this seems to be the norm for this store. It appears some meds aren't stocked at all, while some scripts are outsourced to a third-party company. Where are the pharmacy performance metrics for this store (more than number of scripts filled a month) & the outsourced vendors (wholesalers and contract pharmacies)? Why aren't script metrics and turnaround times being reviewed and the pharmacy stocked accordingly? I currently have two scripts outstanding. In the Walgreen's app, one is designated as "in process" and one as "delayed - reviewing prescription". Initially it was identified as "reviewing prescription for insurance". I had to go to the store to find out it's backordered (AGAIN). Why isn't it designated as such in the app? Responses to text messages by Walgreen's (answer YES or NO) are typically rejected by the system. Wait times for picking up scripts in the store are frequently long (10-15 minutes to just pick up a script). I've frequently gone into the store or to the drive through and left because of the wait time. PHARMACY TECH STAFF I can state without exaggeration the pharm techs at this store are the rudest and laziest ever encountered. One time I asked if they could check the availability of my medication at another Walgreen's store, I was told to do it myself - she wouldn't check their system for me. I went home, called another store, and while the pharmacist didn't have the med at his store, he DID look & told me what stores DID have it & he transferred the script to that store for me. I was able to pick up my med and avoid missing a critical dose. Today, the script submitted 3 days ago was "backordered". I asked the pharm tech if another store had It & she just said NO. When I asked what other dosage forms the store had (so my Dr could submit a different Rx), she said she couldn't tell me that. She insisted none of the Walgreens in the area had this medication & and it was "on shortage". She talked over me, would not let me finish my questions & had a bad attitude. She never did respond to my question about providing me with a partial script until the rest of my medication was received. She would not check the computer for other stores who had the med. What she didn't know is that I KNEW it's no longer on shortage because I monitor the FDA website of drug shortages & know for a fact that they CAN tell me what other milligram capsules they have on hand. Why? Because this happened at this store previously. Again, I called another nearby Walgreen's and yes, they DID have my medication in the dose I needed. SUMMARY The excuse "there is a drug shortage for this medication" is no longer valid in most cases like it was after the pandemic. Stop being lazy - go to the computer and see what other stores may have the med. Tell customers if there is another store with the needed medication so they have an option about waiting to get their med, or to go elsewhere. Send your pharm techs to charm school. Don't hire people who don't have the appropriate people skills and certifications as a pharm tech. Pay attention to the store metrics & stock/outsource accordingly (drug type, scripts submitted, etc). PAY ATTENTION TO CUSTOMER FEEDBACK. These issues appear to be unique to this store and have been voiced multiple times on YELP and elsewhere. I have never had these issues at other Walgreen stores or at CVS. Unfortunately, the nearest CVS is 30 minutes away. Really disgusted with this pharmacy and the pharmacy staff; pharm techs are really unprofessional (IF they really ARE certified pharm techs). If I had treated customers like I was treated today, I would have been fired. Hey Walgreen's - listen to your customer feedback up there in your Lake Forest mansion and do something!
