Duckweed, unlike its convenience store cousins, is airy, bright, and open, and best of all clean. And it does offer traditional grab and go essentials but, upscale e.g, craving kombucha? vegan snacks? Craft beers from 3 Daughters, Greenbench, or Coppertail? Coffee beans from Bandit? THC seltzers? Duckweed's got you covered, and I love that for Grand Central. As a suburbanite, with access to 7-11s and Publix stores on every corner, I was a bit underwhelmed. But hey, it's not for me. You use to post recipes on a variety of dishes you could make using Brick Street products...haven't seen that lately. Next, the product doesn't seem as fresh, maybe business has slacked off and they're not turning the lettuce as quickly. The lettuce use to last for several weeks; I'm lucky today if it last through the weekend...goes bad more quickly. In addition, it appears the staff is not as 'friendly' and helpful. You use to have a lady that would always help me select different lettuces and give me ideas on how to make different dishes using them; she was very insightful, knowledgeable, friendly and have am amazing personality. The employees today (nothing against them, in my world my attitude is a reflection of management...just saying). So, don't know what you're dealing with as a company but if you plan on surviving you need to get your act together. We loved the 'Ol' brick street' and all of the love it showed the community; not feeling that now. I have to honestly say I don't shop here as often as I use to simply for the points I have mentioned. Especially, THE RECIPES!

There was a Walgreens around the corner from the event venue. This Walgreens was very clean and carries the items you can find at every location. I grabbed two packs of gum and was off to the register. Bruce was the cashier on duty and very helpful and friendly. He was very efficient and was able to ring customers up quickly so there was never a long line. I was in and out of Walgreens in less than 10 minutes! I will definitely return to this Walgreens when I am in the area.
