Drive-in customers come from as far west as the Clausen's Beach and Tanglefoot neighborhoods. People riding around the lake in cars or on bikes often stop there too. There's the general assortment of food and drink items you need for stay at the cottage. Neighborhood children depend on it as their "go to" candy store. Weekend mornings be sure to put in your order for fresh baked cinnamon rolls. There's an ice cream machine with the richest soft serve flavors in the area.The store atmosphere is as friendly and helpful as you will find anywhere. This is the place to meet friends and learn what's happening. Now the latest addition, and real motivation for writing this review, is they added a roller hot dog machine! Hot dog I say!!

Some are mirror images of one another, which I refer to as left hand stores and right hand stores, depending on which way you turn to approach the cash registers. This is a right hand store. When you go into the store, you'll get that feeling of Deja vu, which is exactly what the owners want you to feel. Karuba Coffee, Dunkers, doughnuts, and hot foods are straight back. Rest rooms are on the far end, take a leftt at the cooler. Lottery forms are back there, too, for processing at the registers. The no-fee ATMs are to your left as you enter the store. Out on the gas island, you'll find Unleaded Unleaded Premium, E-85, Unleaded 88, and Diesel #2. The store is 24/7. This is a nearly complete auto and truck plaza, there's a car wash, too! It's a complete convenience store with dairy products, sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks and almost anything you could need in the coolers, freezers and food gondolas. Like all Kwik Trips, the bakery all comes from La Crosse and it's pretty good. If you happen to drive an 18-wheeler, there is a huge fueling station and certified scale. It's easy in and easy out with no silly roundabouts to come through. You'll find Diesel #2, Premium Diesel, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid. It's everything you've come to expect in a Kwik Trip and a whole lot more. By the way, Kwik Star has the best chocolate milk in Iowa!
