So on the fly I chose to have his shop. It took a few days shy of a month to get me a price to put in my transmission! After they had sent me a price for work, the day they finally told me it was ready for pick up I was told that I owe an additional $650! At no time was this discussed! Honda dealer in Paducah was too busy and Supreme Automotive Mechanics gave me a P0420 code and didn't charge me. The engine was misfiring. Harlan on the other hand, charged me $171.76 to tell me that the codes had been erased. The car was misfiring and I told them that I had changed the spark plugs recently. Next, they wanted to change the coils for about $1300 which I declined. I had the car towed to Nashville and a Honda dealer there was able to diagnose the cylinder misfire with a bad spark plug. Clearly, Harlan does not know how to repair Hondas, even though I asked them before them doing any work. I believe if they had the computer on during a misfire episode, my problems may have been less. I would never recommend Harlan to work on my vehicle.
