While driving across Texas from California and in Waco and with just 2500 miles under the hood of my new Subaru, my engine light came on, late on a Saturday afternoon.....I pulled into Kwik Kar Lub & Tune on N Valley Mills and was quickly helped. The staff welcomed me and gave great attention to my car and my Aussie, Carlos, who was in great need of it (attention!) They had me in and out in less than 10 minutes with my oil and fluids checked and filled and refused payment. I insisted, and paid the two young gentlemen that helped me even though I was told that they were "simply glad to help a traveler" as I was "mammed" left and right. It was a great experience. I love Waco. read more

I've come here for inspections since moving from DFW in 2016. Always felt comfortable and confident in doing so. Beginning in 2019 I started having oil changed on a vehicle as well. Again, I liked the services rendered. 5/5 This last time however when it was time to pay for services I was only asked "credit or debit" and not given a bill of service. I asked for the total, and waited a few minutes before getting a verbal quote. I was in a hurry so I paid as it's similar to what I have paid in the past. Thinking back though this just doesn't feel above board; paying without receiving a bill. What do you think? read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I initially left a great review, but now I have to change it. So I got an oil change from them and they were friendly and quick. I left and everything was fine with my car until 3 weeks later. I saw my oil pressure light pop on, so I went back to them to see if everything was okay, they checked my car to see if I had any leaks, and refilled the liquids. Everything was fine until a week later, a week later which is today, 2/7/22 the oil pressure light came back on, so I go to the other Kwik Kar location in Bellmead and they tell me there is no oil in my car, they also told me that the oil was never changed and they showed me proof with how dark my oil was. I paid about $65 to get a synthetic oil change and I'm upset because this could've cost me my whole engine after they kept telling me everything was good. I do not recommend this location. read more

Came in for an oil change in the Valley Mills, location, clean, orderly, and very quick & friendly service... I would say 20 minutes... Their prices seem decent too. read more

Took my brand new 2021 F250 Platinum here for its first oil change. Purchased my own oil and filter. Was told when I arrived the labor would be $35 to it being switched on me once I pulled into the garage to $75. I was there and needed it done and the manager wouldn't budge on the price so I let them proceed. Get home and the next morning see oil drops in my brand new garage floor. Get under the truck and I'll let the photos do the explaining. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY PLACE read more

My daughter's car quit on the side of the highway when she was headed to work. We paid $65 to have it towed to our local mechanic thinking the alternator went out. Come to find out, a week or two ago when my daughter got her oil and air filter changed there, they incorrectly installed the air filter which caused debris to get into the air flow sensor thingy and just a small amount of debris will shut the car off. So, their incorrect installation of the air filter they recommended be changed cost me $65 towing and $88 diagnostic, labor and new air filter. I have gone here for the past 8 years and it never fails to be the best!!! Everyone is so kind here and if I had to, I would wait hours just for them to service my car because that's how much I trust them and how reliable they are! I will never stop going here! read more

I had posted a bad review yesterday. The owner called me today and explained the miscommunication and is refunding me the difference of what I overpaid. He was very nice and professional. read more

Would not recommend this place. I went to get an inspection and to get oil changed. They told me they wouldn't pass my inspection unless I bought a windshield wiper from them. He said he "could just tell that they needed to be changed." There was nothing wrong them at all. Then when they were doing my oil change, he said that they couldn't change the oil unless I bought a specific part from them. I knew he was just trying to get money out of me, so I told the guy I was going to go somewhere else. Do not recommend!! read more

I pulled up to this place one hour before closing. One man yelled out loudly, "Don't go home!" Every employee acted angry! I should have yelled back, "Please do go home! I'm leaving!" They changed my oil but always acted angry. I will never go back! read more

Great place to service your automobile, use for my business fleet and personal. You can stay in your truck or sit in waiting area while they clean the inside. Staff is great!!! Best place in the Pandhandle. read more

After going to another place (poor customer service before they ever did any work) I found this place to have my daughters car tuned up before leaving her off for college. Super professional and clean. The staff seemed genuinely concerned about my daughter's safety and getting the car in good shape. They didn't try to up sell us anything we didn't need which was nice. We will be sure to return here anytime service is needed while she is here in Waco. read more

I have gone here for years. They are the only place I trust with my car. I have been to many places that just provide a service to take your money whether the jobs are done right or not, but this place is not run that way. They are honest and have integrity which I've personally experienced as well as witnessed in the way they hand other customers. They are pretty good people and care about the customer. read more

I'm new to Waco and, like most people in a new city, was very concerned about being taken advantage of by an oil change place. After all, we've all experienced that, right? Well, I cannot tell you how pleased I was with the service, professionalism and courtesy of everyone I came in contact with. They caught a mistake by a previous oil change company and made note of some service issues that I was unaware of. In short, they were great. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I will be back! -Steve R. read more

I was visiting from Lubbock and noticed I was leaking a little oil. I had just had my oil changed prior to my departure, so this was peculiar. Upon checking my levels, I took my pickup to Kwik Kar Lube. The staff was very professional and informative. Come to find out, it was just a loose oil filter and they got me in and out in less than 10 mins with no charge. Needless to say, if ever I need an oil change or tune up in Waco, this is where I will return. read more

Full service Synthetic cost under $100 and all the employees were very friendly with not only myself but each other as well! Definitely glad I was advised to come here and will be doing the same in the future. read more

These guys are amazing, you pay a little more than you do at some other places, but I promise you it's worth the above and beyond service these guys provide. They vacuum your car out during oil changes and clean the windows also. I've brought my car and had them do a quick check on an issue and they didn't charge me, you go to a dealership and they would charge you a minimum of $75 just to look the car. They guys are courteous and offer an explanation of what's going on with your car. Like I said the price may be a little more but the value of service is definitely worth it. Did I mention they are really fast with oil changes also. I definitely recommend it. read more

I took my secondary vehicle here for an oil change very recently and I just observable sense the young guy did a half-job who I'd never seen there before. Never gave feedback until I asked. It's an older vehicle that truly needs tlc and I felt brushed off and rushed along. I know ppl may get busy but this is serious stuff. Also it was 4 cars including mine there. I'm now left wondering where to go for a classic full service oil change bc I looked to this place for sometime. read more

Fast, professional service, with complete inspection and no "upselling" of unnecessary services.

These folks get the gold star for being polite & quick in/out. They go the extra mile & clean the windows & vacuum the car. Great customer service, and that's not common these days. I like doing business with them! read more

After 20+ years of being a loyal customer and referring countless people to their shop, the relationship ENDED today when they refused to service my vehicle because I told them I cannot breathe through my nose with a mask over it. That answer suffices for ALL other retailers that have questioned me (actually only one ever has because I have my mouth covered) EXCEPT for Kwik Kar Lube! Good bye KKL! There are other choices in town! read more

Not only did they complete my oil change very quickly, they also informed me of other replacements i needed to make and did those just as fast. They also filled my windshield wiper fluid AND vacuumed and wiped my windows and didn't even tell me i just noticed. The customer service was amazing! they informed me and explained all of the work on my car(which i wouldn't have understood otherwise). Amazing service! i will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends. read more

We've been taking our cars here for two years now. Great service and prices! I would recommend to my family and friends!

Super friendly and fast oil change. I usually hate going to car places, but these guys were professional, clear and concise with everything. The whole thing probably took under 20 min and there were cars in front of me. I'd definitely come here again! read more

First positive impression was clean waiting room...second, I was only half way through reading Waco Today magazine when y'all tell me my car is ready (from full oil change service). I had to ask twice to make sure I understood y'all right. I'm impressed! I will never go back to the one in Hewitt ever again. You'll be pleased to know that I'll be back :) read more

I've been a customer here for years. I first stopped because their sign says "10 minute oil changes" - I thought that couldn't possibly be true - but it is. Their customer service is always fantastic. They don't try to make up issues to fix or try to upsell me all the time. They're fast and friendly. Highly recommend. read more

Super quick and ver friendly! They even vacuumed and cleaned my windows with my oil change

Was just driving through Waco but had needed an oil change for a couple of weeks. Looked this place up here on Yelp and the reviews were good so came by here. It was a very pleasant experience, the guy asked questions about my car and came back in to give me updates on my car like air filter condition and fluid levels. They are very friendly service guys and got the job done pretty quickly as well. read more

They had me in and out for an oil change in 15 minutes, and their mechanics are very polite and professional. They also topped off my washer fluids and vacuumed. They are my go-to here in Waco. read more

Took my truck in for an inspection. They broke my E Brake during inspection. Had to have been driven with it on. Came back up to talk about the issue and nobody would tell me anything. Then I spoke with the owner on the phone who told me that they were just doing their job and it was not their fault and they are not responsible for it. So you can drive my truck for 5 minutes, break it, and then it is my fault and you are not responsible. The E Brake is a $50 part. It is not a hard fix, it is the principal of the matter. You break something that does not belong to you, you need to fix it. Unacceptable. I will never let any of my friends or family use this place again. read more

Friday June 2nd. We went to Kwik Kar to get an oil change. Our driver side window was cracked while in the mechanic's area. I spoke with manager twice since then. Super fast and courteous. Vacuumed inside and washed windows. Checked air pressure in tires. Wasn't pushy about trying to sell extra services. Reasonable price for basic oil change. Store and service were very clean. read more

Ripped Off! I came here for JUST an oil change for $37. I was billed $55 because they snuck in an air filter I never agreed upon. I told the assistant manager and he gave me a $5 discount....how generous of them.....talk about getting taken advantage of! Yes, they are "Kwik" but that's what they are known for. If you're a woman, you're an easy target. Won't be returning. read more
