The guys at Galveston Automotive had a great opportunity to take advantage of my situation and charge me out the butt. Instead, they got me in quick, got the radiator replaced, and charged me a very fair price. Now I'm back on the road and the vaca is a success! If that's not enough, my daughter (who followed us down) also had a minor but immediate issue with her Pathfinder. They got her fixed up the same day! To sum it up, great place.

Hands down best customer service! From the previous reviews it was not hard to spot who Bobby was…read more Our F550 dually was towed to his shop and we spend the night there. It was cold and raining but he still changed our alternator out in the rain. He did a full diagnostic and pointed out reasons why the alternator went out due to previous work from another mechanics. We trusted him and hired him to fix all the other issues from a compressor to belt tensioner. He was not out for money and was genuinely a great mechanic. We spent 8 hours at the shop and watched him interact with other customers. Bobby did an oil change for a lady and checked a bunch of other things for her too (tire pressure, greased her doors, etc) that she didn't asked to get done but was very thankful for. He welded an exhaust and told the customer it'll be ready so the customer can go to a meeting and come back to pick it up. He is a man of his word and delivered! This is someone who loves their profession and is passionate about diesels so I highly recommend Bobby for your diesel needs! And btw he does have a very comfy sofa I fell asleep on a few times in while waiting.

We all know how that might have been different with a less scrupulous mechanic . Bobby is a truly honest mechanic and not the norm in a world charging for everything with the upsell! Thanks Bobby ! To say I was a bit leery of going to anyone on the island to seek auto repairs would be an understatement, seems that everything that once you get over the causeway goes up in price. Should I ever return to Galveston again and need auto repairs, I will guarantee you that I will use will promise you that I will definitely use Pat's because Dennis is very knowledgeable and also I feel fair and honest.
