Can't rate these folks highly enough........... give them a call!

Nigel has always done great work, clearly explaining why repair work was needed and giving me up front estimates before proceeding. Unlike many of the high street garages, which make me feel like I'm a nuisance to pay them to repair my car or put it through an MOT, Nigel is friendly and easy to deal with. They were extremely helpful as well as friendly and polite on the telephone and were able to arrange for us to bring the car in immediately to get it looked at. Since then, we have had to use their services a couple of times to fix problems on the same vehicle and always the telephone manner has been extremely courteous, the staff in the office have been polite and helpful when we have dropped the car off or picked it up, and the actualy work which has been done on the car has been of a high standard. Unfortunately, the downside is the extortionate pricing, which I suppose is nothing out of the ordinary for a dealership, but at least you get good customer service for your money.

In general their pricing is reasonable and if it is a more complex problem with your car you can usually leave it with them and they will fix it within the same day (unless they need to order in parts for you, in which case it will take longer). Being a woman I often worry that I will be ripped off by garage owners who think that I may not know anything about cars. I do think these guys are genuine and not con artists (obviously they are a business so want to make money) and only do what is necessary to ensure your car runs smoothly!

The showroom is not the biggest so not a great selection of cars at any one time but their stock does seem to change quite regularly so always something on offer for anyone's taste large car or small, petrol or diesel. The staff in my view are not very friendly and do not explain things in simple terms and always try to talk very technical to you to try and confuse you into getting whatever work they want carried out. There quotes are on the expensive side compared to many garages in South Shields, the work carried out by these guys is of an average standard and is in my opinion not worth the money that you pay to have the job done.

They always give you an honest quote and i've always found it very reasonable. The guys in the garage are friendly and being a lady they dont talk down to me or treat me like i'm stupid as most garages would.
