I thought I had found a good deal with these people for a new tyre. Their customer service verges…read moreon the rude, and I had to explain a few times wanted i wanted them to do with the spare and the wheel being repaired. They fitted the new tyre and I drove 180 miles before the tyre was flat. So I went to Kwik Fit who told me the alloy wheel was cracked and should have been replaced before fitting a new tyre. It was an obvious fault with the wheel and despite National Tyres saying on their paperwork that they had quality checked the wheel, clearly they hadn't and they let me drive on a wheel that was dangerous. I telephoned the manager who denied any responsibility, saying you just asked me to fit a tyre. There are plenty of tyre companies in Kendal. Use National Tyres at your own risk.

I went to National tyres in kendal 3 weeks ago for a mid range tyre for a Citroen. One of the chaps…read moresaid 'Oh we're far too busy to do that now, you will have to come back later today or tomorrow'' and walked away. So I drove 1 mile to Budget tyres who did the job in 10 minutes with friendly service and competitive prices. Customer service a proper joke in that it is non existent. Up yours national tyres. I won't go anywhere near your branches again.

Excellent service from start to finish and very reasonably price. They didn't even charge for sorting out my handbrake which another mechanic had failed with on two occasions in Glasgow! High recommended.
