Burrito with a side order of food poisoning…read more From my very recent experience I highly recommend staying away from this location whenever ordering first thing in the morning, I did not receive everything that was supposed to be on my burrito missing chilli/sour cream and I paid for it and got charged for it. I work in the early mornings and got the burrito before going to work. And the burrito was barely warm. It is bad business practice to charge people money for ingredients that you don't even put inside the burrito and if this keeps happening I highly suggest they get reported to the BBB Sheetz corporate did not reach back out to me after I sent the order number and my experience to them.

So I tried again and it still ignored me. The other pumps looked the same, but there were no customers, despite being a very busy location. The inside of the building was dark, but it was open. Seeing as gas is their primary business, they'd better get this place up and running, otherwise, it won't last. It's weird because Sunoco is headquartered in the same state, but in Philadelphia.

When I went to leave the lot I was almost in two accidents, that wasn't pulling onto the road accidents, that was the lot was too small accidents I have no idea what was going on and I don't think the other people had a clue either. As for the inside, it's of adequate space. All the amenities that Sheetz has mastered over the years are here for you to enjoy. The one shining spot here are the employees. They were able to do everything they needed to do with a smile on the face, even when a gentleman outside was having troubles at the pumps. This wouldn't be my first Sheetz to pick in town as it seems out of the way. Kind of feels like this Sheetz was built just to spite the other stations nearby.

It one of those ones that is a basic station with a small store on the inside. Don't expect to get fresh made food, you can grab a quick snack or drink. Maybe play your lottery numbers and get your tobacco needs and be on your way. Staff were polite and on top of things here making sure that the line of customers kept moving at a brisk pace. Great if you don't want to deal with the other stations in the area.

Though presenting as a bit of a sketchy location (especially, that time of night); the store and restrooms were clean enough. And, the staff were friendly and attentive. Basically what I am saying is Turkey Hill is a rare occurrence in southwestern Pennsylvania, but because of the Turnpike, Somerset is fortunate enough to have one. The lot just happens to be located at a fairly good spot in terms of the Turnpike. It literally can be either your first or last stop when in Somerset. As far as gas prices they are competitive with other gas stations in the area. Inside, it feels a little bland and jam packed. When I say bland I mean there is nothing flashy in here, it feels like things are just thrown in as place keepers. It somewhat feels unfinished. The jam packed part comes from how things are set up. The register only offers a small space to stand. At least the one they used when I was in here. The biggest thing about here is the noise level. Yes, it can be quiet, but only as quiet as the employees allow it to be. I understand about having a conversation, but when you are screaming it across the store, it's a little off putting for your customers. I ended up leaving here with a headache and the few items I selected from the store.

Maybe that is because many people stop here to get gas or pick a forgotten item at home. My most recent visit here I observed many people coming out with items like milk and bread. You may end up paying a bit more than at your neighborhood grocery store, but I don't think many people would mind due to the fact that you are saving yourself a trip and some hassle. As far as gas prices, they are reasonable and expected for the area. Honestly I feel like this spot could charge whatever it wanted. They do not have any immediate competition nearby. It is one of the first exits to Somerset that offers gas. And people will come here regardless of that. Not sure who supplies the gas, but it seems to be fairly good with mileage. For a roadside stop, definitely fills the need.

I had a scary issue on a windy incline of the PA turnpike in the rain. Needless to say, when the tow truck finally came, I was a bit of a mess. They took me to Blough's who immediately showered love upon my pooch and let him run around and enjoy the reception area. There's lots of fun memorabilia on the walls and old gas pumps to check out (and sniff!). Where they really won me over was the kindness of everyone who worked there. I waited several hours while they attempted to replicate the problem on my camper van over and over - but of course, it was running just fine now! They finally felt comfortable letting me on my merry away and didn't charge me a dime for their time or diagnostics. I was happy to have broken down near such a friendly place.

Took time to take us in immediately and take a look at the car. Wasn't able to find the part needed until later that day, but we were able to get the information on the part that was needed. Car was Ok to drive (sensor issue) and we were able to call ahead and have the part ready for us when we got to our destination. Couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. Thanks again
