Let me tell you, it's hard to find local places that are full service and even harder to find ones that are friendly and talkative. They even wash your windshield and tell you you're tipping too much when you hand a $5. In my opinion the guy earned it. I'm happy they did my dry gas(reasonably priced name brand), windshield cleaning, checked my windshield wipers, pumped my gas, asked how my day was, and did a walk around looking at my tire levels. That's great! I recommend going here and paying a few cents more for this guy to do your gas.

We arrived in Jamestown late afternoon on a recent Monday, conducted a bit of personal business, then decided to go to dinner. We did not realize that most restaurants roll up (not out) the carpet Mondays. There was simply no place open for a quick dinner. Fortunately we stopped for gas and were pleasantly surprised at that Red Apple was open and able to make some fresh, hot food that fit our needs. Very congenial staff, fairly good selection of items from which to choose...and fresh sandwiches made to order.

It's pretty pricy for small subs and small slices of pizza. My friend said the sub was okay but it didn't have much cheese ,meat, or lettuce on it. For a $6 6 inch you'd expect more. I think they have those prices to trap busy truckers passing through. $7.10 for a sparse 6 inch sub and small bag of chips. Super nice full service gas pump attendees 6am-6pm for a section of pumps.

Planning to have…read morea girls weekend but when we got off of the highway we realized that something was dragging under the car. Stan took me right away and put it on the lift and fixed my issue. Thanks to Stan our girls weekend was saved! He is a good honest person.
