Place is terrible no matter what you do they sold me a vehicle that was completely rusted out then when I went back to tell them they claimed "we didn't sell it to you like that" so I told them I haven't had this car a week and rust can't happen in a day the response was "Depends". This company scams people...On Apr 11, 2026 a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe was purchased at Kwik auto in Raytown MO.  It was driven home to the lake of the ozarks area, and it made it home.  It started having some issues with the transmission the very next day, on Apr 12, 2026.  took the vehicle to O'Reillys and they said there was an error code.  I immediately contacted Kwik auto, the manager was very rude.  He said that I purchased the car but I had the warranty on it, with $100 deductible, so I could take it to any a car repair place. I took the vehicle to auto tech in Versailles, Missouri.  Auto tech evaluated the vehicle, and they also found that there was a deleted code as well.  They said that the transmission was bad, and so was the four-wheel-drive.  They submitted all of the information to the warranty company. The warranty company came back and denied the claim, and the reason was that it was a "pre-existing" condition and that the dealership knowingly sold the vehicle that way.  I called the dealership back, again. The guy was very very rude and said that I bought the vehicle. The guy tried arguing with me and said no it is approved. They will fix it. Take it to another car repair place.  I told them the warranty company denied it because the car was sold that way.  Kwik auto would not do anything about it so I told them I was bringing the car back.  The guy was very rude and said too bad it will be reported as a repossession.  The company is knowingly and willingly selling Lemon vehicles to consumers. read more

Told me 10,000 on the phone, showed up in person and they raised the price to 13,000 :) And hey, I gave them my phone number and called about the car two separate times, yet they didn't call me and tell me the car we had discussed TWICE was not currently available the day I scheduled to come in, because a salesman ruined the clutch :) So I drove to the location and the car I was told I could inspect was not available, and went up in price. I bought a 2010 Ford Taurus and they sold it to me with a failed internal water pump. Someone in the service department knew it was failing so someone PLUGGED the weep hole, which is designed to alert you that the internal water pump was failing by letting coolant out so you have time to replace it. The internal water pump on this vehicle cost between $1800 to $2450 to replace due to it being located inside the engine driven by the timing chain after I got three quotes by local Raytown repair shops. After I left an email with the pictures of my discovery of the obvious attempt to conceal the water pump's imminent failure I got a call from service manager Eric. After denying any knowledge or wrongdoing I eventually threaten to sue Kwik Auto Finance for intentionally selling a vehicle with an expensive malfunction and not disclosing the matter at fact. On top of the attempt to defraud the customer by PLUGGING the weep hole. You can easily tell that leak didn't start last night. It had been leaking well before I bought the vehicle on August 19th. I test drove for approximately 40 minutes on highway and city streets. I didn't find any issues during my inspection because in this situation I would have to get under the car and know what to look for. Look up Duratec 3.5 L V6 Engine Water Pump Failure online, won't take long to find out why that weep hole is important. Most likely if I had not found this shady plugging of the weep hole, catastrophic engine failure would have occurred after months of the coolant mixing with the engine oil. This would occur well after the 60 day/ 3,000 mile limited warranty and would have been on me to fix. Eric advised me to just bring the car back and get my money back on August 22nd after I brought up the information above after going back and forth on the phone for approximately 5 minutes. The whole time Eric was trying act like I was clueless and didn't know what I was talking about. I came up there and in less than 15 minutes had my money issued back to my bank card. Do not buy the black 2010 Ford Taurus on their lot and I would be careful to trust any other vehicle on there without getting a independent mechanic to look it over if your not mechanically inclined. This was not a simple mechanical failure but a deliberate attempt to pass off a vehicle on to a consumer that already had a water pump gasket fail and was a ticking time bomb to destroy the engine. I'm very familiar with this engine and I am mechanically inclined to look this in depth over the vehicle. Came in for a vehicle and put a deposit to hold it until I was paid in the next few days. I placed $1000 down and would return later with the remaining $500. i arrived with the remaining and was told that the actual deposit was $2500 instead of $1500. I immediately rejected that due to the salesperson telling me it would be $1500 total down payment originally. The next week I called and let them know I'd go ahead and pay the $2500 (even though that was not what I was told originally.) I was then told they were not willing to sell me a vehicle because "everything that happened." I don't live in the state and just needed a cheap vehicle to get around in while visiting (as I do often.) I was not expecting much from a small, pre-owned lot. I got a car from them in 2021, after warranty was up, my headlight stopped working. Changed the bulb and it worked for like 2 weeks and then stopped again. Come to find out, it was a wiring issue and nobody would fix it. I ended up paying it off and using it as a trade in because I couldn't get it legal. Unfortunately I traded it in with Kwik Auto, never should have!!! I have had my current vehicle since 12/2023, day 27, it was over heating, supposedly bad thermostat. 4 months later, it was over heating again, come to find out, cracked head gasket, the engine needed replaced. They replaced it and added the cost to my loan, 2.5 months later, the transmission is bad, the battery charging system light comes on. Basically the entire car needs rebuilt and they say "you're not under warranty, you're welcome to go somewhere else". THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE SOLD ME THE POS VEHICLE TO BEGIN WITH, in the end, from my original loan, the cost of getting it legal, the engine, the transmission, i'm paying over 20k for a car with a KBBV of 4k. I've never been late on a payment for the entire time i've been with them, 3+ years. Then, they sold my best friend a van, that has been over heating since day 1, replaced the thermostat, then it was a cracked head gasket. Also sold my mother in law one that has been been sitting since a month after getting it because it doesn't run. They are liars, theives, and should NOT be in business!!!! read more

I had the worst experience ever with them. This is thee worst company to get a car. I have never dealt with such bad customer service. These people do not go by the book at all. Everything they tell you is a lie. I was late on one payment and they came and took my car with no notice, and I decided not to come and get it back. I came to pick up my possessions that were in the vehicle and it was missing car parts that I had in my trunk and my license plates. And when I asked about the missing items TAMMY said she would look into it and get back with me so I called up there almost every other day and she said that they didn't have my car parts and they destroyed my license plate. And when I asked why they destroyed my license plate they said it has been more then 30 days. However it had not. And I spoke with the manager and he had confirmed it had not been more then 30 days. They are very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL I will never do business with them EVER again. And wouldn't recommend anybody else to. If I could give them no stars it would be NONE ....They gets no stars from me. read more
