After my mother passed away, I became more directly involved in handling matters related to the property myself and experienced similar challenges with communication and follow-through. In my experience, responses were sometimes slow or unclear, and several maintenance-related concerns affecting the unit did not seem to be addressed as consistently as we expected. Interactions at times felt combative rather than collaborative, which made routine matters harder to resolve than they should have been. Because my mother was an older homeowner navigating these issues largely on her own for many years, the situation created unnecessary stress for her. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that the management company continues working toward more responsive and consistent communication with homeowners and their families, especially when residents are older and relying on clear, consistent customer support to help navigate HOA-related issues.

After paying for years our…read moreHOA dues, in the middle of last year they started adding late fees, and not because we do not pay our dues, but because they keep claiming we are late in sending checks to them. In addition, this accounting company does not have a BBB rating, which raises concerns regarding its business practices. Despite our timely remittance of payments by mail in accordance with our association's governing documents and established billing procedures, late fees have been assessed to our account. Multiple requests for clarification and resolution have gone unanswered or unresolved. Here are some of the issues: * Checks mailed in a timely manner were not consistently deposited. * Certain checks were deposited prior to the dates written on them. * Other checks mailed in the same envelope were never deposited or accounted for. * Late fees appear to have resulted from internal processing failures rather than any delinquency on our part. When these discrepancies were brought to the company's attention, we were told they "may assist in tracking" uncashed checks. This response is inadequate and inconsistent with generally accepted accounting practices. Once payment has been properly tendered, responsibility for accurate receipt, processing, and posting rests with the accounting agent--not the homeowner. It is also concerning that these issues coincide with the promotion of the company's online payment portal, which imposes additional transaction fees, instead of the traditionally accepted mail-in payment method. This pattern raises questions about administrative practices and internal controls. We have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter. Although a representative indicated that a billing specialist would follow up, no meaningful communication or resolution has occurred.

Made me wait additional days for an approval when background checks had been completed, they sat on my application costing me $$$ in late fees. Had to drive to sunrise multiple times to not get anything done and see the agents in their office reading the script to other callers.

I waited 30 Days to post this review to give Benjamin the benefit of the doubt, to give him a…read morechance to prove his word as a property management company but here is the proof that he is a SCAM artist. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

We appreciated the constant communication during the process of finding a tenant, as well as his frequent check-ins once the tenant moved in. Would absolutely recommend him!

Positive: Professionalism I was told about John Kemper a…read moreyear ago, and spoke with him about selling my property...After one year and finally deciding to sell, I was given names of other Realtors to deal with, but I remember talking to John and felt like he was someone that really knew the business.....He knew exactly what I needed to list my condo for, to get a buyer. It was big, very pretty, mile from the beach, great location, but did need upgrading.....He told me exactly what to do..and he was right...Great listing price........He negotiated with these people right up front, this is what she is taking, needs upgrades, but great price for this condo, location was beautiful.... John definitely knows his business, don't fool around, gets to the point...I liked John and yes...I would highly recommend John Kemper, e-pro realtly....

My experiences with EPRO were outstanding, they helped to try and sell my mothers condo in Florida…read moreafter she passed away, unfortunately there were some other issues that would not allow us to sell the condo and it was at the bottom of the market when not much was selling but they did offer good suggestions on how to sell it. I can not recommend John Kemper, the owner high enough for all he had done! I read the rants of one of the other posters, my opinion is she wanted something for nothing. My experience is if you have problems with a tenant before they move in, you will always have problems with that tenant.I have never come across a landlord that will allow you to pay "piecemeal" its all or nothing, and since it is in the begining of her review to me it sounds like she has an issue with anyone that is Jewish.
