I was very disappointed with the attitude of the owner when cutting my nephews hair. I would have given him no stars but that wasn't an option. He was very aggressive towards my nephew and his mother. He was agitated before ever starting the hair cut. The child is very calm and is never unruly anywhere especially in public. They both left crying due to his demeanor. The 4 year old was so traumatized that we looked Mr Will up on OSCN the court website and he does in fact have charges filed on him due to incidents dealing with children. I would definitely think twice before taking any child to him. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews because they certainly don't convey how we were treated. read more

Well appointed shop. Will knows how to take care of business in expedient fashion. Don't get me wrong, our little guy shed some tears. But it was a brief cry. Also, his 3 yo sister (she's already had a haircut) - moved from chair to chair to chair, playing til her heart's content. She had a great time! This place is a great place for toddler cuts. They have toys and stuff for kids to play with. If you don't have an appointment they also take walk ins. Be prepared to wait. We had an unfortunate experience today. My son loves Mr Will and we have previously had great experiences here. My wife called last Tuesday 8/9 @ 2:19pm and made an appointment for today at 12:30. At the time there were multiple time slots available. Today we called to confirm and were told he was not on the list and they were full. We have family pictures tonight so rescheduling for another day was not an option. I explained the situation asked if there was any way they could accommodate us anyways considering the situation and was told no, my only option would be to walk in and that could take up to two hours. If someone had told us "Sorry, there must have been a scheduling mistake please come on in and we will do our best to get him in as soon as possible." I would have been totally satisfied, mistakes happen, I get it - but someone has to take responsibility. The only thing we were told by both Mr Will and the person answering phones was "He is not on the list." - I am not sure who is responsible for this list but everyone wanted to pass the buck like the list handles itself. We walked in and got a haircut in about an hour so all worked out fine, I just have very little patience in situations where people are unwilling to take responsibility, admit a mistake, and move on. Mr Will also told my wife that we were rude on the phone, we tried really hard not to be rude, that usually gets you nowhere (and I really don't think we were), but we did have the expectation that his appointment would be honored or at least an effort would be made to make things right, and it was very frustrating to be told "There is nothing that can be done." - That phrase is something people say when they are too lazy or care too little to solve a problem. If you have an appointment here, I would suggest calling to confirm, or "The List" may cancel your appointment without anyone knowing. read more

We decided on a whim to stop in, the wait wasn't too long but that didn't matter because of all the toys available for the kids. I was completely expecting a meltdown but Mr Will did such a wonderful job keeping him distracted and happy. Not only was the experience painless but the actual cut turned out great. We have used Mr Will several times for our child. Once he started taking appointments again, we made one! Our son desperately needed a haircut. We got to his shop 4 mins after our scheduled appt time, there was another adult in the shop with a child also. Which kind of confused me, as he's taking appointments only at this time. Anyways, I walk in and he informs very rudely that I am late for my appointment so I will have to wait until this other family is taken care of. Ok, 1) we had an appointment and were 4 mins late. Not so late he wouldn't be able to cut my child's hair(he's little and it takes like 5 mins.. no fancy haircut). 2) why was there another person in the shop? Either he is double booking and accepting walk ins. OR someone was extremely early to their appointment. Which if they were early and I showed up, I should of been able to get my sons hair cut!! What's even worse, is he continued to talk to me about how to bad for me I can just wait!! We left and will never be back!! We actually found an amazing place that same day! They were incredible! My son never cried one time! He always cried the entire haircut at Mr Wills. I will not spend $17 +tip on a haircut and be treated so incredibly rude!! The shop is older which is fine, but it's never extremely clean. I didn't know there were other options for getting a child's haircut until I had to do some research, and I am so glad I did! We had gone EVERYWHERE in tulsa to try and find someone who could give my boy a good looking cut. He is one of those that HATES his haircut and i dont mean just cries, jerks and wales, and unfortunatley we've been at this for 3 years now and he has not grown out of it. Then I found Mr will! When it was time for my son to have his FIRST hair cut his father and I reluctantly and with tear's in MY eyes started the search for the place and person to give him his first cut. To our surprise there was ONLY ONE children's "salon" (for lack of a better word, lol), Kuts 4 Kids by Mr. Will. So we went and really didn't expect too much, but to my delight when we walked inside there were toys EVERYWHERE!!! A slide, action figures... pretty much anything you could want as a child! Even had game station's (playstation types with child friendly games!!! ) The wait was only about 10 minutes which was awesome considering it was walkin and it really didn't seem like that long anyhow since the toy's were keeping our son super busy!!! Then when it was our turn, he was placed in a chair shaped like a car and had a steering wheel and horn!!! lol He loved it! Once Mr. Will found out what cut and style we wanted he started and even with our son crying hysterically and moving around like nobody's business the cut was perfect! It was EXACTLY what we wanted and it was even too!!!! I was so surprised and to top it all off it only took about 3 to 5 minutes!!!! He even saved all of his hair (at our request) and taped a small piece to a card too!!!! My son will turn 2 in a few day's and his hair is in serious need of another cut... so today we are going back to Mr. Will... it's not as cheap as some places are but it's worth EVERY dime and you definitely get what you pay for! This was my daughters first hair cut so we weren't sure what to expect. I called an made an appointment for 5:00 PM we got there about 15 minutes early as we do to most of our appointments. There is a play area to keep the kids occupied while you wait which for us was about 5 minutes. My daughter was seated in a car chair which she liked for all of 1 minute then stranger awareness struck as soon as she saw him she started crying and bouncing all over the place. Mr. Will was fast!. He was done with her hair and she was back in Mommy's arms in no time at all. He grabbed a lock of hair and taped it to a card for us for her first hair cut and I am glad he though to do it because I forgot all about that the minutes she started crying and bouncing all over. We paid the 10.00 haircut and tipped 5.00 for the hassle we were with all the crying and bouncing and we were in the car before 5:00! Okay so with all of that bouncing all over and how fast it was I expected the hair would be all crooked and yucky later when I had a chance to style it but it was PERFECT! This place is great! Only place I would take a child for a haircut. I personally get my hair done at andoes because I've went there for 25 years and would come here as well if that weren't the case.
