I tried to make an appointment for Dr. Kut as a new patient because my high blood pressure runs in the family. The receptionist said she would make an appointment and call me back. She never did. Instead, I had to call them back three times, and when I finally got ahold of them. The receptionist informed me that Dr. Kut would NOT see me because I have a history of controlled substances -whatever that is. I had gone to a doctor who prescribed me something for sleep. I guess THAT was the controlled substance. My old doctor died, so I have to see a new doctor. And Dr Kut would have been him. I was dismissed without further explanation, unable to speak to the doctor himself, and hung up on. Doctors have to right to refuse patients, but let me warn you: if you ever complain about any doctor, his staff, your treatment, or anything else, they can AND will refuse to see you -no matter how legitimate your claim, despite your medical condition, prescription coverage, insurance, or otherwise (anything short of an emergency) and lawyers will represent them -not you, because they have the money.
