I grew up in the era of painful dentistry. As a child and through young adulthood, I was afraid to…read morethe point that I'd rather suffer in pain rather than go to a dentist. Dr Padron, Aziz, Beatriz and all of the GREAT staff at Burch Dental, have taken all my fears away. I'm having work done to repair, replace and restore my smile with absolutely minimal pain. They are funny, reassuring, compassionate and just plain wonderful with me. Any little thing that I experience gets taken care of A S A P!! They will be my dental angels for as long as they will have me. They work like a well oiled machine from scheduling to X-rays, cleaning, education and all financial issues with ease, laughter and grace. You will NOT be disappointed with these people. I will always be grateful that I found Dr padron and all his staff. I actually smile now when I have an appointment.

I took time off work in order to go to my initial exam and hopefully, cleaning. When I got there, I…read morewas informed they could not find my insurance anywhere in the system, I have no idea what their problem is. I ended up not having my appointment, they wanted me to pay cash because they couldn't find my insurance information. I wasn't going to do that. So later in the day when I checked with my employer, they had their insurance agent get directly in touch with me and she had no idea what the problem was. She could find me in the system just fine, and in fact we called Burch Dental jointly to solve the the problem at 12:40 in the afternoon. Their answering service answered, and said they were on lunch from one until 2 o'clock. This was 20 minutes to one, and they didn't answer. evidently they do not take lunch from 1-2, this was 12:40. This is simply too much hassle to get a dentist when there are others that are available without this much inconvenience. I have no idea what their issue is, I'm just going to move on. I cannot recommend after this amount of problems.

All of the dental…read moreassistants are extremely nice, will always chat with me while I'm waiting (in the waiting room and dentist chair) and are gentle with my fragile teeth. I recently went with my terrified sister, and they kept her talking and distracted the entire time. It may just be me, but sometimes Dr. McNitt seems a little condescending about how I act (so what if I get a little chatty when I get nervous?), but that could also be because I'm gassed up. Regardless, of all the dentists I've been to, this is my favorite and I will return for my check-ups. They're also good at helping you utilize your insurance and working with your budget.

Todays Healthcare has changed dramatically and in my opinion, finding a great Healthcare Professional is key to your over all health. One thing I believe most of us agree on today, is first impressions are always key to any establishment when walking through the door. When you walk through the front door here, you are instantly greeted by their very friendly, cheerful Receptionist. She instantly makes you feel welcome and not just another patient. The personable atmosphere is warm, inviting, pristine, and professional. Then you meet Dr. Baer and/or Dr. Mirza they are both exceptional!!! Dr. Baer gives you the impression of a long lost friend, she has a lifting and dynamic personality. Extremely intelligent, quick-witted, and very well educated in the field of dentistry. She makes you feel at home and explains everything to you, so that you understand It. Dr. Mirza is fantastic, I have never experienced the kind of skill he demonstrates anywhere in the past. The fear has always been about going to any dentist, " Will I feel any pain?" I have never felt any pain, or discomfort in the dentist chair here. He is extremely diligent, skilled, and professional. His Dental Assistant is also very good and studied. She is in cue with him every step of the way. My friends and family feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful Christian Family Dentistry. Thank you for all you do. Kimberly B.

In December, I called to confirm an upcoming appointment only to be told that I had been marked as…read morea "no call/no show" and that the appointment was canceled. This was surprising, as I have always communicated with the office when rescheduling. In September, I proactively rescheduled my Motto aligner checkup because I was traveling to California for my father's 70th birthday celebration. That call was handled without issue. Unexpectedly, my trip resulted in my family and me contracting COVID-19. We were quarantined for over a week and unable to attend the scheduled celebration. Upon returning home, I notified the office that I was still ill and could not attend the appointment. Again, I was told there was no problem and that I could call later to reschedule. However, when I contacted the office in late November, I encountered extremely rude service, was informed that I had been added to a "do not schedule" list, and was accused of missing multiple appointments, including alleged "no call/no shows." This was incorrect, and despite my attempts to clarify the situation and explain that I rescheduled responsibly, I was dismissed and told I could only request same-day appointments. Today, January 13th, I called to confirm a 7:00 AM appointment, as I never received a reminder. I was informed that it had once again been canceled for the same inaccurate reason. When I asked what missed appointments were being counted against me, the responses were inconsistent and unprofessional. I was told first that I had missed five appointments, then "several," and then six -- in a condescending tone. When I pressed for clarification, the branch manager hung up on me. I want to be clear: * I have never missed or rescheduled any of my gum-treatment appointments, all of which were scheduled at 7:00 AM. * The only appointments ever rescheduled were Motto aligner checkups -- and I always called in advance. * It is impossible to have six no-call/no-show events when I have not even had six total Motto appointments at this location. * The office has canceled my appointments without notifying me and has now blocked me from continuing care due to inaccurate records. I am currently dealing with gum issues that require ongoing treatment, and I have completed my Motto aligners. I now need follow-up care and information regarding next steps, including retainers. It is unacceptable that my dental health has been jeopardized due to inaccurate scheduling records, improper documentation, and disrespectful treatment by office staff and management.

I saw Dr Samuel on Tuesday due to having severe tooth pain. She referred me to an endodontist in Rockford. The endodontist she referred me to was great and I booked an appointment for Tuesday for a root canal. Unfortunately, I just found out on Friday after hours that they are not covered under my Medicare plan. If you have ever had severe tooth pain, you know how miserable it is! Don't expect the dentists at Machesney Park Family Dental to be sympathetic about your pain. She refused to call me in anything for pain. I've been in so much pain since last Monday and now I have to wait until this Monday to start all over again, trying to find an endodontist and somebody to help me out of this miserable pain.

I have had some good, and some not-so-good dental care in my life, but I don't think I've ever…read morereceived better care than from Dr. Ryan and Tanya at Moore Dentistry. I'm a disabled veteran who does not qualify for dental care through the VA, so when I found myself needing dental care, I started looking for a way to do it with my limited income. I signed up for care through https://dentallifeline.org/, which offers Donated Dental Services for needy individuals. Donated Dental has a long waiting list, and you only receive services once. It took me several years to get to the top of the list, and Dr. Ryan volunteered his services for me. I ended up having to have two extractions, and a deep cleaning/root planing. Dr. Ryan gave me such a thorough, detailed examination, and then went over the best options for my care. I felt so at peace and at ease with him and his staff, and they were all willing to give me the time I needed to get all the information I needed. Tanya, and Dr. Ryan's office staff, gave me valuable information on how to find an affordable dental plan that I could sign up for, so that I can continue receiving care through Moore Dentistry. After my experiences in their chairs, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! I extend my fullest heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ryan, Tanya, and the office staff at Moore Dentistry!
