He will not do evaluations, testing, or help you with disability at all. Won't even fill out paperwork for you. I feel like I lost 7 years of my life and it took two doctors being horrified by how much medicine he had me on for me to make a change. Now I have a really long road ahead of me to get back down to a safe level of medicine and to make matters a million times worse, he missed ADHD and autism. For 7 years. Run the other direction.

My friends after a few months of taking the medication told me I should not take the medications because it was making me psychotic. I went off of the medications around December of 2012 and had a withdrawal/drug induced psychosis reaction in the following months. That caused my new psychiatrist (because I moved cities) to believe that I had a disorder that was not drug related. I'm disappointed in Dr Lee for prescribing the wrong medications to me on our very first visit.

I specifically scheduled an appointment at this office because I wanted a female Psychiatrist, and my insurance said that Leon Legan was in network. To my dismay, I was again greeted by an older gentleman, Donald Legan. He then said to follow him and we would get started. I was about to cancel the session but figured what the hell. I drove 50 minutes here might as well give it a go. Never. Again. He was arrogant, condescending, and I'm almost certain senile. The tone he used was that you would give to an infant. I'm a grown adult. He laughed at everything I said, even when I was being serious. He told me straight to my face that my boyfriend (of almost six years!) was just a fling/convenient. He made two sexual references all of which were completely irrelevant to the conversation we were having. He couldn't remember where I lived or where I wanted to move to (Quebec), instead he kept saying the complete opposite. On top of him making fun of me for my hobbies. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not. Either way it irked me. After almost two gruelling hours he finally handed me a binder with like 850 multiple choice questions and told me to fill it out and return it at our next session. I got home later that night, and just to humor myself I looked at it and there was someone else's information already filled in on a separate answer sheet. His full name, personal questions, and birth date. I could be mistaken, but I was under the impression everything was supposed to be confidential. I'm over it, I don't foresee any more visits in my future. I'll discuss it with my family doctor instead.

He diagnosed me with bipolar off of a few very basic questions and the fact that I cried when telling him that a friend had killed himself. I told him I've never had manic symptoms. I have family with the disorder and never related to them. He then told me, "You sound like a bipolar person who doesn't want to be diagnosed with bipolar." The lady he also had me see was rude to me too. Told me, "This isn't a therapy session." When listing off my symptoms of anxiety. I have since been diagnosed with anxiety by two other incredible specialists and am on a medicine that actually works for me. I've decided to make this review because I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. Horrific experience. Horrific psychiatrist.
