I had this place delivered a year ago and it was really good, so after getting a craving for Indian food today, I wanted to come back and try it again. I ordered my food with a mild spice level and all of the meat entrees are definitely mild, but the rice is not. Since the rice is a good amount of the whole plate, I'm disappointed about that. Also, the menu says you choose some items on the plate (I don't remember how many), but as I finished ordering on the kiosk next to the register, the person preparing my food was already halfway done plating. Regardless, I love the variety on this plate and everything is super flavorful. The entrees are creamy and tender and pairs so well with the roti. I'm a huge fan of the dessert on the lower right square of the plate. I've never had it before but it's super soft and full of syrup, I just know I'm going to crave it all week! I think my main issue was with the customer service. The place was empty when I ordered so it's not like they were busy, I would've at least liked the option to choose from the options I had available to me. Generally good food though. They actually do not have the buffet. We were there thinking they have the buffet. But they have the tali plate. Which is better to my opinion. We got the meat tali. It has a lot of chamber to fill the plate. I like it because the appetizers also meat. My two entrees is the mutton curry and the fish curry. These two curry were very good. Especially the mutton curry Kat fresh out the kitchen. Tasty. I also like the fried chicken curry. It has a lot character. The rice has biryanis rice and good chicken in it. Not much of service. Very good fast food Indian food. I was in the area and needed to grab lunch (to go) quickly. I was delighted to see Kurry Xpress show up on my yelp search. They have a lunch special. For $8.99, you get an appetizer, an entree, rice, roti, and dessert from their hot dish line (served by the server). I got the chicken 65 and the chicken tikka masala. Everything was pretty good. I had hoped I'd get some vegetables or daal, but they gave me yogurt sauce instead, which was tasty. I think I'll try calling ahead to get something made to order in the future, just because I like having more options. But I can hardly complain for such a bargain served quickly and with a smile. read more

Excellent lunch buffet! I think previously they shut down the buffet based on other reviews but now they have brought it back. Inclues 17 items total, including naan. They have 1 table for vegetarian and another buffett table for non-vegetarian options. The best tasting by far was the butter chicken but overall everything I tried was good. Decent value at $15. They also still doing the 1 or 2 entree combination tray if you want to go that route and pay less, but when I saw the buffet table and all the good options, it was too hard o pass up. read more

Kurry Xpress was not a standout for me. We spent several minutes trying to understand their complex menu. Many items on the menu were followed by the number "65" which made no sense to us. The worker just watched us struggling. As we asked questions we could never hear his answers because he wouldn't project his voice. Another worker came out & told us to ignore the menu because they are offering the buffet for $15. We tried the buffet. The food tasted pretty good, but it was amazing to me how almost every dish was totally mushy in consistency. The cauliflower was mush, the chicken was mush, etc. The naan bread we were expecting tasted more like an off-flavored pancake. The better foods we thought included the paneer dish. The cheese seemed fresh & tasty. Also the butter chicken had chicken that tasted good & wasn't mushy. The tikka chicken seemed very mushy to me. Where do I begin? I'm sorry,  but I can't be lenient on this one because I've had great Indian food. J.K. my best friend is Indian and her dad makes one killer chicken curry. Positive: no dine-in due to the pandemic, so not crowded. The place was clean when walked in. My husband and I have been to an Indian place before, but we were with my best friend who told us what was good there. However, in this case, we didn't know what to order so we went there physically in the hope that the server could help us make our choices. First of all, we couldn't even tell her it's our first time and ask whether she recommended anything. We felt so rush; she just wanted to get our orders as if she was racing against the clock. We placed our order and explicitly say we wanted it spicy. I'm from the Caribbean, so I can handle the heat To our disappointment, our foods were not spicy AT ALL--- I guess she didn't think we could handle it. I came for the lunch buffet. Very good food in casual atmosphere. There is one steam table with 8 vegetarian options and another steam table with 8 meat filled options. It is self serve. All for $15. This was a great find! My boyfriend and I tried this place after he decided he was craving Indian food. We each decided to try the 2 entree special and I also chose to get a 2 entree special for my mom. We chose between three meat and two vegetarian options for our entrees and two vegetarian and three meat choices for our appetizers. The options were varied and the portions were great. We really enjoyed the platters and presentation of those platters. The flavors were great and very authentic. I am not great with very spicy foods but my boyfriend is. It was the perfect spice for his level and with the yogurt provided it was perfect for my spice level which is usually pretty mild. There were some mix ups with getting the right dessert to my boyfriend and the mix up of only one mango lassi to me however the gentleman taking our orders was very nice about fixing the mistakes. I enjoy how casual the ambience is and i will be back. The only feed back I would say is that I would prefer the mango lassi to be in a larger cup. I would be willing to pay a dollar or so more if it came in a standard 16oz rather than the odd size of a 10oz cup. This was my first time and the last time here. My husband and i decided to eat from the buffet to hsve more verity. There were no labels so we had to ask what everything was. One of the utensil they had my the was scorching and burned my husbands hand. The Naan was NOT authentic it was more like a Pancake. An embarrassment. A complete waste of money. Definitely go anywhere else. Food was bland and overpriced. The naan was terrible, looked and tasted like a stale Mexican tortilla. They served the meal on a paper plate with microwaved rice and samosa. I ordered Korma and asked for it hot. It was as bland as any Indian dish I've ever had. The employees seemed bothered that I came in and the place was empty. There were only forks and spoons, so no knife to cut the chicken. Employees were arguing about putting gas in a van in the dining room, nothing but unprofessional behavior the entire time. Okay guys. First hear me out. I lived in NYC for over 30 years so I am accustomed to a lot of types of food. I will first tell you about my first experience here which was in person. I wanted goat curry , naan and basmati rice. The person at the counter was not understanding me so another man came out from the kitchen. I explained what I wanted and he explained to me that they only have goat korma and roti and rice pulao. I said okay, I will take it. Roti was good, almost like home made. Rice was ok also. Goat korma was goat korma. No complaints. Next is my online ubereats order. I ordered the same exact order as my walk in order except it was a double order since my husband wanted food too. The goat korma is listed as "goat curry" with a description of "goat korma" which will indeed be confusing to people. I ordered roti x 4 and guess what I received?? PITA BREAD! Also the goat korma was very watered down and soooo much that my 6 year old son who was curious about the food we were eating came over and asked to taste. He ate it with NO PROBLEM. No spice at all! I think the point of my review is to warn anyone looking for authentic Indian food to stay away from here if ordering online. What to do when you're running errands & don't want to cook when you get home? Kurry Xpress take out! Hubby ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala & I got the Andhra Goat Kurry. We also got a side of Samosas. I didn't get a samosa because SOMEONE (you know who you are) ate both of them. However, I was informed that they were very good. The Chicken Tikka Masala was a large portion served with some of the best pulao rice we've ever had in a take out. There was also a roti. Hubby said it was a little spicier than he would have liked (probably my ordering error) but enjoyed it nonetheless. I found the chicken a bit on the dry side, so maybe they might switch to thigh meat instead of breast to overcome this small issue. My Andhra Goat Kurry was superb. It was nice & spicy, with minimal bones. Absolutely delicious! Again, an ample portion with their great rice pulao & roti. My only other "niggle" was maybe there should be 2 rotis, rather than just 1 per order. Or perhaps the option of naan, if available. Bottom line: loved it! Going back!! read more

This is so weird so I don't know how to begin this review. A worker I would say is possibly the owner spoke with my son and I. I asked if he had a paper menu. He asked me to see my phone to open the menu for me on their website which he said was hard to find. He was very insistent and my son was being rowdy so I let him open the menu for me. I guess between the minute time window he opened the website and I asked for my phone back. He took it upon himself to write a Google Review for the restaurant under my name. I have no idea how he did it so quickly without me noticing. This is extremely creepy and invasive. Do not fall for this trick. Do not go to this establishment. Extremely unethical and frankly a gross invasion of privacy to promote their business. If you have eaten here before and something similar happened to you please check your Google reviews to make sure a false review isn't written under your name. I saw this place had just opened up so I decided to venture outside of the house to try it (they do deliver, I was just antsy to leave the house). It's in the same plaza as the office depot, there's a few chairs and tables to dine at if you'd like, but I did mine to-go since I was eating alone. Luckily I came during the hours that the lunch combo was offered. I was so torn with indecision at all the good choices, but luckily the combo I ordered came with roti, two appetizers, two rice dishes, two curries, and this adorable ball shaped dessert. I'm going to be honest, I don't quite remember what I ordered since I asked the gentleman to pick for me mostly, but I am very pleased with all the choices that were presented in this meal. I used Uber Eats to get the Butter Chicken Curry. It was good; the chicken's texture was okay. It was a little tough. The spices and sauces were amazing. They tasted so good and it was a good size for two people. I ordered the regular naan with it. Was a little surprised that for $2.00 I only received one piece of naan. I'm in legit food coma! The food at Kurry Xpress was definitely one of the best Indian food I've had in Florida. Here's what we ordered: Chicken tikka masala curry with rice and roti: the curry was super delicious and definitely one of the must try items. It was super creamy and the spices were bang on. Chicken Kati roll: the rolls were totally worth the money. It was stuffed with chicken unlike some rolls where it's generally all roti and no meat. The spices were perfect for our palette. Mango lassi: my husband downed this in a matter of few seconds. It was sweet, creamy with lots of mango flavour. Must try! Samosa Chaat and Papdi Chaat: my husband is usually not a big fan of chaats but he couldn't stop eating these. Perfectly spiced and the gravy masala was perfect. But I would say they both tasted more or less the same, but we were more than happy to save one box in the fridge to be devoured the next day. I love the fact that the food here wasn't too oily, not too spicy, perfect mix of masalas (unlike few Indian restaurants who overdo with the spices, so not the point of Indian food) and lastly totally worth your money.
