Mr. Christopher Kurczaba, his office staff, and particularly his Office Manager, Mrs. Ewa Brozek - were always extremely professional, beyond friendly and courteous, and were instrumental in the development of my immigration cases. They were always willing to patiently answer all my questions and to make last minute appointments. Mrs. Brozek always greeted me with a warm smile and patiently explained all the processes and legal details pertaining to my cases. Anyway, a bit about myself - I immigrated to the United States when I was 4 years old. I was granted deferred action about 8 years later, with the help of Kurczaba & Associates, when in 2012 - DACA (deferred action for childhood arrivals) was introduced. I was a DACA recipient for over 6 years, having been represented by Mr. Kurczaba, in all my renewals. Considering my background as a DACA recipient, I was able to obtain work opportunities that helped me acquire experience. This, briefly speaking, allowed for the construction of a rather complex legal case, that allowed for me to be sponsored for Permanent Residency in the United States, through work/labor certification. Mr. Kurczaba and Mrs. Brozek, built a case that allowed for me to become sponsored for permanent residency and would allow for me to legally and permanently work, at my sponsor's company. Since 2015, the labor certification process and the various stages of the immigrant petitioning process have been ongoing and have concluded in the last week. As a DACA recipient, I had to temporarily leave the US to attend a Consular Interview in a US Embassy, abroad. There, I was granted an Immigrant Visa and permitted to enter the United States, as a Legal Permanent Resident. I am beginning work at my sponsor's company next week! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me at this company and I am beyond grateful for everything that Kurczaba & Associates helped me accomplish! By far the best immigration lawyer in Chicago! I had a complicated immigration case that other attorneys could not handle. Having filed previously but having my application denied. Other attorneys quoted me astronomical fees and said I would have to go to Poland to obtain my green card. On the other hand, Attorney Kurczaba reviewed my situation, researched and found that I was eligible to adjust to my green card here in the USA based on a previous application. Great immigration lawyers - My family and I have used Kurczaba Law Offices who have just completed our entire immigration process. We began with a petition then completed a waiver. The process was done very well. Christopher explained all of the steps in the process, gave us a fee quote and prepared all of the applications for each stage in a timely manner. I called to inquire about the immigration options for my Polish girlfriend. It wasn't the layer, but the receptionist was horrible. She was mean and rude. I asked her what can my violence do, other than marriage and she said that "there is absolutely no chance for her to have a life here without a social security number otherwise!" I told her that my girlfriend was a child in Poland and she speaks better english that Polish now. The receptionist with a rude tone said that "The only thing that my girlfriend can do is to pack up and go back to Poland" and then she ended the conversation. I was completely crashed... I called to day for a consultation, and was told that it would cost $100, which I was okay with it. However, when I asked the receptionist about the time to confirm again, she screamed into the phone very very loud with a super rude attitude. I can't believe a law firm can hire some one with that attitude, I have never seen any unprofessional service anywhere like this before. I told her I'm very disappointed that I do not want to continued with my appointment. And she screamed again "okay, fine", and hung up the phone right away, not even a single apology.
