I was immediately welcomed and everyone in the gym was so kind--but also got really good rounds in. Nothing better than a gym that will make you feel like family and beat you up lol. Attention to detail including cleanliness on mat and off such as restrooms. Developing kids class with zero bullying tolerated. I'm very pleased. Update as of January 2020. Next evolution of what already was the best Jiu Jitsu facility in the RGV. Massive mat space over 2k square feet. No beams or support to watch out form. Great parking and location central to surrounding community. Showers aNd separate change rooms and restrooms ideal. Welcoming lounge area and sign up area for new members. Staff and instryctioon friendly, welcoming and high quality. Variety of reasonably priced beverages before and after training including coffee and espresso for the older members. The gear they sell is very, very reasonably priced, which is nice. I'm giving it 4 starts and not 5 because I would like to see the instructors correcting form and assisting people when adequate. I've seen some new people and I'm not sure if they teach them the basic punches before starting (they didn't go over them with me). Aside from this, it's a great workout. The gym equipment is available for use. The instructors are nice and cool, approachable and friendly.
