Through VT I have worked with several students, for test prep and general course assistance. Varsity Tutors has clients who care and students that are motivated to learn. I have also been very pleased with Varsity Tutors' communication; they respond quickly and helpfully to any questions or concerns that might arise, and have always been very supportive of me as a tutor. We mostly follow the Alfred coursework, but I have a variety of musical interests and every time I have asked him about different material or style he has gone of the way to complement the lessons; he is also very knowledgeable of different music topics and has always been able to answer any theory question I've had. During this year he's been very punctual on our lessons and in the rare occasions when he had to make a change he let me know with plenty of time to make arrangements, he has also been willing to accommodate changes to the lessons when I've had any issues.

The instructor was John Dokos and he was excellent. His extensive project management experience made the course content more relatable.
