I had the onion bread with early wine that was similar to the early wine we had in the Czech Republic. Refreshing and light--more bubbly grape juice-like than a viscous Gewurztraminer and not nearly as sweet. The onion bread was a perfect companion to the wine. They had salads as well as traditional German food but nothing overly heavy. There was a full case of wonderful desserts as well. Seating was available inside and out. The garden was beautiful as was the shop with a great selection of wine available to take. It was different than most German restaurants we had been to (except for Factory Girl in Berlin) and a pleasure to mix healthy with heavy.

After a stroll along the lake we went down to Goodies for a sunny treat yesterday afternoon. We ordered the raw blueberry cake and vegan wrap as well coffee and a Matcha tea. I was absolutely amazed with the cake so delicious and zesty and matched the Matcha perfectly while enjoying the first sunny spells over Schlachtensee. Before heading back to Ireland I defo have to pop over for more of their savory offers as those daily soups sounded just nom as well as the selection of their GF and Vegan salads like lunch sorted for the next days ;)
