The reason I'm giving 5 stars is this: The City of Atascadero building dept is completely beyond out of control. I wouldn't EVER consider building a home here again! They actually have permits, to get permits! No exaggeration! I would laugh, but this isn't funny. Then, after OVER $85,000.00 spent to meet FIRE DEPT. regulations, they were still not satisfied they took enough money. In person; I begged the fire chief to "Please let go of me now 'cause, I'm broke" NOTHING DOING! They wanted me to PAVE the turnaround for their fire truck! Roberts Engineering stepped in for me!
