Pepper Shrimp
Chuck M.

This restaurant wasn't my first choice...but perhaps it should have been. Initially I was turned off by the"drive thru"...thinking that I really wanted a sit down dinner and not something"fast-food"... Well, I was wrong. Yes there is a drive thru, and yes they sell donuts...but after entering, the most favorable smells of Vietnamese food engulfed me...ahh, wonderful. There are about 10 tables and tonight better than half were filled with patrons...young and older...enjoying those wonderful food creations that I smelled earlier. Quite the menu, but with some help from the young lady at the counter, I settled upon the pepper shrimp, Vietnamese egg roll, and a smaller bowl of beef pho. They do have many complete meals, but I went "a la carte"...maybe a little more expensive but this way I can have what I want and nothing extra mixed in. First to arrive was the pepper shrimp...steaming hot and very tasty. Up next came the Vietnamese egg roll...equally as tasty. Last up came the beef pho...not bad, but different...the beef had an odd look and was grizzly, and I do believe that it's the broth that decides success or failure, and while good it wasn't fantastic...I left most of the pho uneaten. All said and done...not bad, I would come back for sure...maybe try a few different entrees.

Vietnamese Spring rolls, Veggie Pad Thai, Chicken Fried Rice, Cheeseburger and Fries.

I couldn't be more thankful for this place. Living in San Diego, we are spoiled with all different cultures of food. My sister moved to Colorado and is very pregnant right now. She had a huge craving for Vietnamese spring rolls but couldn't find one that would deliver as it was already 7pm. Mind you, I'm in San Diego so I can't just drive and bring her spring rolls so I called Kuan's Kitchen and they were able to whip up a couple orders of spring rolls along with chicken fried rice, veggie pad Thai and a cheeseburger (picky toddler) and deliver it to Mrs. Preggo and her family. They raved about how delicious it was and how full they were. Thank you Kuan's Kitchen for helping to fill my sister's belly with her craving and now being her go to place for Vietnamese food.

Love the Pad Thai! Best in Pueblo. Their donuts are so fluffy, by far the best in Pueblo as well! Must stop if traveling thru the City!

Menu prices online were not updated and far from what the actual price they charged. Tables,…read morefloors, plates, and serving buffets were just plain nasty and unkept. We ate dinner there, and it was apparent it was the leftover from lunch. You paid before you ate, (they even asked for a tip), and then the customer had to get everything, to include a self-serving drink bar and remove their dirty plates before returning to the line. Dirty fly covered dish cart left out in dining area, next to the drink glasses and dispenser just added to the misery. Entering the place, you had to walk past storage items. Can't imagine this place passes any health inspection.

No Vegetables in the "Vegetable Fried Rice." Okay, I exaggerated a LITTLE bit; there were two peas,…read moretwo tiny carrot pieces, five pieces of onion and three pieces of cabbage or something green. And that was it. It was mouthful after mouthful of ONLY RICE. The rice was good, I'll admit that, but where the F*ck were the broccoli, the mushrooms, the bamboo shoots, those flat green things with little peas inside, those yellow things that look like miniature corn cobs, and the scrambled egg scraps? I clearly ordered "Vegetable Fried Rice" over the phone. That there was a tiny amount of vegetable in it means they knew I wanted this rather than thought I said "only" plain rice. Shame on China Moon. Anyone knows that high quality vegetable fried rice comes with LOTS of vegetables in every mouthful. I could've just cooked up plain rice at home. One star to China Moon, will not be going back.
