I didn't feel like hassling with my cellphone roadside (I've used it before they take forever) plus I didn't have a spare tire. 3. I wanted to get HOME SOON 2 options came up and I chose this place. I called Steve the owner was very nice, respectful, and knowledgeable of what he was doing. I told him what I needed he didn't have it but offered an alternative to at least get me on my way. While they didn't have a truck to tow me I risked driving the 6min drive (thank God I broke down close to THE EXIT) The location was a tad bit unassuming I didn't know where I was going or what to expect. I found the place pulled up. I met Steve and his wife Cynthia and he went straight to work. Cynthia kept me company while Steve worked (very nice young lady). Steve got me outta there in less than 30m the price was reasonable and I MADE IT HOME. (Now I have to go buy some right sized tires . The place was also quaint and clean. Very small business or ma and pop shop like but with big hearts and get the job done! No haggling what they quote is what you pay. Thanks GUYS and I made it HOME! I wish the best to you guys!

A quick internet search pulled up Dix Diesel Center. Thankfully we were only 3 miles away. We shot over and they went to work diagnosing the problem. There was a problem with the air brake and the part necessary had a national back order on it. These fine folks went to work and found a part that they could fix to make it work! The whole process took a while and they even drove over to another center to look for the part. When the bill was ready, it was tiny! I have paid much more for much less in a CAR! This time I arrived at 9:15 for a 9:30 scheduled oil change. Noted 7 cars parked in the service drive so got out and spoke to Tommy and said "Y'all look slammed. I'm just here for an oil change appointment". He said no sir these are all drop ins and we'll take care of your appointment right away. Grabbed Gina and told her mine was an appointment oil change. Saw Gina drive my truck around to back at 9:30. Went up at 10:20 to ask about what the hold up might be. 10:30 Gina comes to tell me the truck was just put on the lift. We discussed my appointment and she said she didn't know about that. Also said someone didn't show up for work blah blah blah So guess if I hadn't asked about it my quick 15 min oil change truck would still be sitting back there somewhere.
