DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY OR ZACK SMITH My experience with Zack Smith was the worst I have ever experienced and I was scammed out of $350 that caused financial stress. On May 17, I contacted Zack regarding an ignition coil issue. He reached out through Yelp, provided a quote for parts and labor, and offered to order the parts at a discounted rate and have them shipped so he could complete the repair. Based on those representations, I paid for the parts upfront. Zack told me he would arrive first thing Monday morning to complete the work. Monday came and went with no arrival and no communication until I reached out multiple times. He attributed the delay to other jobs and his "kids" after he had promised he would come Monday morning. He rescheduled for Tuesday. The same thing happened on Tuesday. My calls and messages went unanswered for most of the day despite my vehicle being inoperable. I also had to request the tracking information multiple times before it was provided. When I finally received the tracking information, I discovered the parts had been shipped to Zack's address rather than to my address as I had been told. After another missed commitment and no communication on Wednesday, I decided to take my vehicle to another repair shop. The issue was diagnosed and repaired the same day. After having the vehicle repaired elsewhere, I contacted Zack and requested a refund for the parts since the work was never performed and he shipped the parts to his own address instead of mine (another lie). He initially stated that he had a "no refunds on parts" policy. I had to contact him multiple times before he eventually agreed to return the parts and issue a refund. My request was based in part on the fact that I had been told the parts would be shipped to my address, but the tracking information showed they had instead been shipped to his address. Despite agreeing to process the return and refund, more than a week passed without any proof that a return had been initiated or that a refund had been issued. I also sent refund requests through Cash App, which were declined. Multiple follow-up calls and messages went unanswered. The only response I received during that period occurred when his wife answered my call on his phone. When I asked to speak with Zack he yelled from another room telling her to hang up on me. As of the date of this review, I paid for parts upfront, the promised work was never completed, and I have not received the refund that I was told would be issued. I have screenshots of our communications, payment records, tracking information, and documentation related to this transaction. I recommend avoiding working with KTM, Zach Smith or anyone associated with him/this company. I will be pursuing all available options to recover my money, including filing complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies and pursuing the matter in small claims court if necessary.
