One of the vehicles was actually quite difficult, as it was a BMW 440i Gran Coupé, it has the sportback trunk, which is advance way of calling it's a hatchback style... Well even with some of the hardware that creates privacy in the cargo area, they managed to absolutely nail it! I've gone with the darkest shape possible when it comes to the back windows, and maybe someone else did the front... Maybe not , and I go dark but not with the darkest shade, but let's just say that I love all of the windows and how they turned out! My most recent vehicle is a Ford Ranger Tremor, and yet another phenomenal job! I even came back and had them put in a limo black strip on the top of my windshield , since these days, they don't have any type of tinting on the top portion of the window, which used to be the case (at least for this truck), but with how this turned out, I would take the job they did any day over the little gradual tinting that used to be at the top of windshield virtually all the time. BTW, I see people doing that, even with vinyl and it's extremely low, as they go with anywhere from 6 to 8 inches sometimes... That's just not the look I would go for, and these guys were nice enough and skilled enough to customize mine and have it drop down the perfect amount, yet not have me feeling like I'm looking through some tiny little rectangular opening, as I feel like many of the cars do. The windshield strip is a little over 4 inches, and just in my view, it turned out perfect. Nothing against those who like it to go lower, because to each their own! But I would go with these guys every time, and I always just spend the extra money and go with the top end ceramic material. I can't leave my vehicles alone, and I am overly attentive to detail, and I figure if you're gonna do it, do it right and do it the way you want it to turn out and that's what they allow me to do So five stars all the way. I went into the store and was greeted by Lennie (sorry if I misspelled it!). She was very personable and friendly, and she would recognize me at later visits which made the experience of using Genesis amazing and like catching up with an old friend. I told her what I was thinking about and she grabbed Sid, the store manager (I think), who walked with me back to the car. Sid is incredibly knowledgeable and upfront. I told him what I was thinking and he gave me some options on what I could do. Initially looking at the XPEL Stealth, he demonstrated on my car what it could look like by placing a small strip of it. He pointed out the little, specks of sparkle in the grey paint of my car that made it unique and expressed that putting the stealth on the car will remove that. I ended up changing my mind and went with the Llumar Valor PPF which had integrated ceramic coating, more neutral PPF color tone that accentuated the sparkle in the OEM paint, and added the Windshield skin to protect the OEM windshield (much cheaper than later replacing the full OEM windshield + calibration). Sid did not pressure me for these options nor felt like a salesman. He gave me the information and I led myself to the natural decision of what I wanted for my car. (Was very close to getting a green PPF wrap, but the OEM colour is too good!) Dealing with Genesis was incredibly personable and upfront. Sid answered my questions about price ranges of PPF jobs that I've seen online, walked me through the process, and was very communicative. I even asked about lower priced competitors and their closest competitor in Yelp ratings. He did not badmouth them, and even complimented their competitor for doing great jobs on the cars he's seen. That integrity is what sold me on using Genesis. I didn't even go to their competitor when I had originally planned to because the service was that good. Anyway. Genesis is awesome and I recommend them for future PPF jobs and tinting services!

This is an issue that can affect many vehicles (including my Honda) and can actually be a safety concern when driving at night or in inclement weather. Over time, when a vehicles' headlights are exposed to UV light, oxidation can gradually occur over the years. This as well as flying debris, bugs, dirt, chemicals, and water vapor can all contribute to deteriorating the headlights as well as the overall value of any vehicle. Not to mention, that hazy/foggy appearance just looks plain ugly. This takes me to "916AutoWorks". I had found this place specifically on Yelp. The business itself focuses primarily on window tinting but they also do paint restoration, interior detail, and engine bay cleaning. I had called at least half a dozen businesses while only being able to talk to two places. The business owner of this place, Alex texted me back after he saw my missed call. We communicated strictly through text, he quoted me a very fair and reasonable price, and I booked my appointment on 3/31/2022 @ 12pm. The location itself is a little bit on the hidden side. Even though the address is on Arden Way, the entrance is actually off of Markston Road (in between Arden Way & Alta Arden Expressway). It is also quite close to "Leatherby's Ice Cream" as you will definitely want to park in the rear parking lot to find the business. After I signed a short form and handed over my keys, they went to work on my car right away. And within 25 short minutes, my car was done! As shown on my before and after photos, you can see just how much oxidation buildup occured over the years. I even had some scratches on one of my headlights that were also quite noticeable that were not nearly as apparent as before. But the clarity is a night and day difference! And since I do quite a bit of driving at night, this will give me much more reassurance and peace of mind when I am behind the wheel. All in all, "916AutoWorks" was a five-star experience in my book. A word of advice to Mid Valley Sound, when a customer walks in the door asking "hows it going" then leaning on the counter and staring is not good customer service. How about "what can I help you with today" or "do you have any questions?". If I knew what I was doing I would be ordering parts online for cheaper and installing them myself not walking through your doors with a confused look on my face. After a few minutes of standing around waiting to be helped I left. Good service means I shouldn't have to come to you to and ask questions. I know there are two sides to every story. Maybe the guy was new or thought I didn't need help, etc. But I am very disappointed, I hope this was a one time situation. Chances are good I wont be back to find out.
