Second time I had to go there... thanks to an animal deciding to cross the moving vehicle's path... this time the animal lived but still did a good deal of damage to my car. I had to wait 3 weeks to get in but it was worth the wait. They fixed my car good as new! Additionally, they lent me a brand new (tiny) car to use in the mean time. I have 4 special needs children, one of whom it seems always has a dr. appointment somewhere. I like to go visit my mom a few times a week - she is 81 and doesn't leave her home anymore. The car was an amazingly considerate gift considering we didn't have car rental on our insurance. Also, at the end of fixing my car - they washed the outside and spruced up the inside (as much as they could around 3 car seats). This is the second van they fixed for me. This one was new to us so I was doubly upset that it was damaged but they did such a perfect job - I can't complain. AND - I don't feel their prices were high even though my insurance paid the majority of it. I think the bill was very reasonable. I feel bad when I read negative comments such as the one I am viewing to the right of this. I find it difficult to believe they would charge anyone to "check" their tire pressure. Any gas station will do it for free I would imagine, service garage, muffle place ... I just don't think these people understood they only wanted their tire checked. They are kind, conscientious people from the young lady who greets you (who was very efficient and polite) to the guys who come out to answer your questions. They are topnotch with smart boards, team meetings, smiles all around. The COULD charge huge fees because they are THAT GOOD - but they do not! They are very reasonably priced. The shop was clean, smelled fresh - not like a garage, a beautiful fire place in the waiting room with kids' toys - and ...well, I can't say enough! I am very pleased. Next time (and I'm sure there will be a next time because I live on a very deer populated road) I will be sure to take the car seats out so the inside of my car looks as good as the outside. I can't say enough good things about Goodrich Auto Works, from the friendly staff to the great service from start to finish! Derek wrote my estimate up quickly and efficiently, and even took the time to explain to me what exactly everything meant and made sure I left feeling confident and comfortable. Two thumbs up for customer service and knowledge skills! Kayla, was absolutely wonderful! Throughout the time Goodrich's had my car, Kayla kept me informed of everything that was going on. She was very friendly and understanding. I couldn't have asked for better people to be taken care of my car! And lets not forget to mention, Goodrich's made sure i had a vehicle to still drive while all this happened! I got my car back today, and one word, WOW! I had a mishap with my 2020 Honda Fit as I was unloading it from my RV tow dolly en route from California to Massachusetts where my daughter is about to have our first grandchild. Car wouldn't come off the tow without further damage. So, at a KOA campsite in Bath, NY, I sought help from Goodrich. Their estimator Chris came out and I explained my tale of woe -- I just needed to make it onto the tow dolly and do some short drives until I made to Massachusetts. Chris didn't wait for the body shop guys but took it upon himself to at least get me going. Fixed it himself. Cost for his services? Zero. He refused payment. A short time later I ran into him at a local Italian deli. I offered to buy his sandwich for him. "I do this for all my customers," he explained as he demurred yet again. "It's in my nature." Needless to say, it's clear why this longtime family run business gets such high ratings. They saved my bacon! read more

Goodrich Auto Works did a Great job repairing my car. Everybody who saw it when it was done said that it looked brand new, even though it has 170,000 miles. I want to say how easy and smooth my experience was, because of a girl that works there named Kristal. I went there, and Kristal made my appointment, she copied the paperwork I brought, and she contacted my insurance company for me. When I dropped off my car for repair at 7:30 am, Kristal had scheduled a rental car from Enterprise in Hornell, and it was there waiting for me at Goodrich Auto Works in Bath. I dropped my car off and left in the rental. During the week, Kristal called to update me on the progress of the repairs. When it was done, I picked up my car and dropped off the rental car at Goodrich, Kristal took care of returning it to Enterprise. Thank you Kristal. One early morning driving to pick up grandkids a large deer darted across the road hit and bounced off the left fender of my 2017 Subaru. Once the deer gained composure it ran into the nearby field leaving me with a crumbled fender and dented hood. Looked for a local auto body shop with a good reputation and decided to give Goodrich Auto a try. Once I got the go ahead from my insurance company I gave them the go-ahead to begin the work. About a week later my car was repaired and looked brand new. The staff at Goodrich were super polite and professional. I just had my car fixed at Goodrich Auto works. A car rammed me in a parking lot. Did more damage than I thought. One main reason I chose them was because my two sons had body work there and were very happy with the results. I helped run an auto sales and body shop for 13 years so I knew what to look for in a good job. My sons were both awesome. I was very happy with the results on my car and wanted people to know how good they are. The work blended so well you would never know it was crashed. I have no complaints about Goodrich. They are very helpful and always kept me informed on my car. My car is always cleaned when I get it back.
