This is for the Pharmacy, still love the store. They don't fill prescriptions like Antibiotics as soon as anywhere else would. Until a year or two ago they did a great job. Different people now. You can wait 24 hours after it should be filled and have to go there just to wait with other the suckers because they don't take phone calls and the answering machine is ALWAYS full. I bought a 2lb bag of Low Moisture, part skimmed Mozzarella cheese two weeks ago. It had never been opened until tonight. The use by is September 25th, 2025. I made homemade pizza for six people. It was horrible. The cheese didn't melt and it tasted sour. I called the 800 number for customer service, got a lady I could barely understand. She said she would give me a $5.00 credit on my next trip. Considering the cheese was almost twice that much. I shop at Kroger all the time and love the people that work there. They should have sent me a coupon for another bag of cheese at least. I am upset and was embarrassed serving that to my guests. I threw the pizza and cheese away. read more

The pharmacy is terrible! They say you can wait for a Rx... I say, I will pick it up tonight. When I attempt to, the pharmacist has shut the lights off well before closing time and says "if it's ready you can have it... otherwise you can come back" very rudely. She then "Checks" and says it's not ready. When I asked when it would be because it was due early afternoon she says "when it is. We are behind days, weeks. We will get to it when we do". Incredible! Not having the Rx ready on time... ok.. being rude and nasty because you don't want to wait on the line of the customers that have been waiting. Unacceptable. They don't have liquor but the wine section is nothing to sneeze at. This place was renovated and expanded about a year ago and it looks great. They have a large hot/prep counter section with seating in the front of the store if you want to eat in. This one has a gas station, money services place and a pharmacy too. The cart returns are a bit far out which can be a bummer in winter but they have lots of small carts so...yay! The deli counter is awesome too and they're really friendly. My niece calls this place "Brown Kroger" she remembers it because they have a gluten-free ice cream she can enjoy. Not many ice creams for a person on the "GFCF" diet. Speaking of that diet, good selection of Gluten-free items and organic products. Well lit and maintained store. Best part is that the selections are wide and the store is open late. read more

A big Kroger! It has all the vegan and vegetarian products that I like in their Midland location, only this one seems to be four times the size. Employees have been nothing but friendly and helpful to me and I love the full aisle of drinks in the refrigerator case. The only thing I don't like is the parking lot! It is LIT, fam. So busy all the time. I understand it is due to traffic for not only Kroger but also their gas station and the other businesses in this popular plaza, but I always feel like I'm about to get hit. read more

One word: AFFORDABLE The only Kroger I've ever been to. I was not disappointed. Think of Ralph's or Von's but cheaper. The produce is surprisingly fresh. The Krogers in Saginaw township expanded due to surrounding ones closing, which was already an inconvenience . It's hard not to notice how understaffed it has become . Carts all over the lot, also the lot has trash thrown all over, cashiers are not friendly and have to bag your items, never enough lanes open, plus in the evening you close the lanes and we're forced to use self checkout which I feel cost jobs. read more

I used to love this place, great prices and quick service. Since they expanded and closed the Gratiot road store they added tons of lanes and were supposed to have more workers. Now you have twice the amount of traffic and it seems like half the staff. Lucky if there are 3 check out lanes open at any given time. I'm not a big fan of checking out myself and bagging myself. It's turning into a Wal Mart as far as checking out is concerned. Disappointing since the remodel. read more

Laurie, an employee who works at the pharmacy, is EXTREMELY rude and terribly patronizing. Not just one time, but every single time I've had any sort of encounter with her. I'm not a rude person, but once she starts getting rude it's hard not to mirror that. Very unprofessional - in fact, the most offensive and unprofessional pharmacy employee I have ever witnessed. You need to do something about this, or at least change the "our friendly pharmacy staff" greeting, because that is far from the truth. read more

I like Kroger's because it is less than 2 miles from my home. I like the gas discount. I think their prices are a little more than another large grocery chain that is farther away, but the other store is so large that I am usually exhausted by the time I get home. I am also fond of the store directory that is attached to the shopping cart. Like most stores, there are not many employees on the floor to ask for the location of an item. When you can find a clerk, they are polite and helpful. Items on the top shelf of a display are difficult to reach and, unless someone offers to help, I either climb on the bottom shelf or do without. read more

Not usually a fan of Krogers but this one surprised me when I went in there to shop since it was on my drive home. They have sushi made daily which for an avid fun of it was a great to find and it is also one of the cleaned and most organized Krogers I have ever found. read more

One nice thing about this store is that it's open 24 hours. I hate this Kroger, and avoid having to shop here at all costs. Only reason I even gave it two starts is because it has decent sushi, and a good organic section. The flow of this store is terrible. Price is reasonable and in addition to the easy pick-up/take out factor and the good quality, it is the most reasonably priced sushi I have found in Saginaw. Love, love, love Kroger-my favorite store. However, do NOT use instacart grocery delivery. This is the WORST experience I have ever had. There was no pickup time available so we chose delivery. We didn't get several of the items we ordered. Worse yet-the "substitutions" were outrageous. For example-ordered 4 bottles of bbq sauce on sale at .99 each and Got 2 each of 2 different brands-ranging from $2-4 dollars EACH. Ordered butter 2 @ $1.99 each and received 2 @ $4.29 EACH. Ordered pate for our old cat and kitten food. Both were wrong. Did not deliver the "specials" that when combined would have saved $10 (the whole idea is that this savings would have covered the cost of delivery). Of course, covid is the reason we didn't shop ourselves. We ordered a bottle of disinfecting bleach-and received a very expensive "splashless" NON disinfecting bleach. Delivery was on time, driver was nice, outcome was terrible. Called Kroger who said "Yeah, we can't do anything about that you gotta call instacart". Wait time on their helpline? 2 hours!!! Was told yesterday that they were not going to give out rain checks for the sale currently running on Kool aid juice packs. Also told that there is a limit on the amount that you can purchase, which is not stated in the ad. read more

Not a review of the store in general, but their web security for their loyalty program is downright pathetic. My email accounts have been hacked twice, my Free Friday coupons have been stolen, and no one at corporate seems to know what is going on. I'm just not going to use my loyalty anymore except to get the special prices, it's kind of a joke. read more

Horrible if you're coming from CSL Plasma. They won't let you pull any money from your card if you're pulling less than $100. This is because they can't afford the add-on they had done a few months ago. If you're coming from CSL, go to the walgreens on genesee and michigan, just across from the right aid and the family dollar, you only have your surcharge there. read more

This review is particular to the surprisingly good sushi sold at Kroger. It is the best sushi in Saginaw by far; superior to Hello Sushi and Genji, both of which have decent offerings. I have it on relatively good authority that the Sushi here is on par with fare sold in the Nagasaki prefecture in Japan. Their chefs are authentic and creative and I highly recommend it. read more
