I placed an order on the kroger app. for grocery pickup. They cancelled my order twice. I called the kroger app chat line and they said it was because everything on my order they were out of stock. So you tell me that pickles and mayo they are out of stock really. I called the store for a manager....stayed on hold for 15 minutes before they hung up on me. Happy to see no waiting line at customer service! With receipt in hand, wanted to return two jars of mince meat. The reluctant clerk scanned the jars and was ready to issue a credit for $4 less than the price paid on the receipt. When questioned, the clerk claimed they only refund the scanned amount! After 15 minutes, finally received a refund of the original purchase price! Kroger thinks that they are so essential to the community so they can treat customers in any way they want. read more

Went to Kroger for one item and arrived at 3:45pm when they advertise to be closing at 4pm. I was rudely turned away by Manager on Duty (I believe his name was Samuel). If you advertise that you're open until 4pm then that means customers may enter your establishment until that time. I know it's inconvenient for the workers BUT I've worked in grocery stores on holidays before & you know that you're "off time" isn't going to be exact. I've lived in Olive Branch for 4 years. This Kroger is the worst I've seen. The stock is terrible.always out of everything. And I mean everything. Who is out of Heinz 57 or Krogers own veranda of spreadable butter or corn chips, I could go on...Usually one check out line open. And never a bag person. Called the manager with no result. Also the entire store is flawed with the floor layout. Today our Instacart shopper had to checkout a 200 dollar order in the self checkout lane where the line was 20 deep. Done with this store. This is the absolute WORST Kroger known to man! There's not even enough space to explain what I hate about it. But the layout is horrible, the amount of checkouts open per the ratio of people checking out is the most laughable joke of all. Like why are there 30 people with a line so long it's going down the food aisle? And there are so many self checkout kiosks that are NEVER open. Maybe one. So one self-checkout and 2 regular checkouts with 80 people waiting to checkout. You do the math. Don't waste your time. I've seen people leave basketfuls of groceries and just walk out. It's tragic. This is the nicest place to buy groceries in the Olive Branch area. The decor is new and the feel is good. Lots of natural light from the skylights. The employees are nice to you and people will actually help you find something that you need. It is pricier than Wal Mart of course but so much less stressful and maddening. They have a nice little section of "healthy/organic/better for you" foods that always seem to be on sale. I think there may be a too small of a market for that type of thing here in North MS. The produce section is nice and fresh. They have a fresh Sushi station. Very good beer selections too, in fact there is an entire isle for beer. +++ read more

I highly recommend the PHARMACY at this Kroger! I cannot vouch for the rest of the store but the pharmacy is easy to reach, get prescriptions filled in a timely manner, they don't try to make decisions on what you can and cannot have of what your OWN DOCTOR has prescribed like Walgreens and CVS think they have a right to do. They do what they're supposed to do: Fill and Refill Prescriptions which is all we need! And they apply coupon codes and the other Big pharmacies stopped doing that! read more

I've bought ground beef, 2 packs of pork chops and 2 packages of chicken breasts. All at different times in the past 2 months and they have ALL been spoiled. I opened some up the next day or 2 to a putrid smell and starting to turn gray and thought, well no big deal, maybe I should make them day of. It is very hot after all. So twice now I have opened them the same day and the pork chops were still gray underneath each other and smelled like sweet expired sour cream . The hamburger meat also grayed the next day and smelled terrible as well and finally, tonight, was the final straw. I spent $17 on a whole large pack of heritage farms chicken breasts. (I spent a bit more thinking maybe the higher quality wouldn't be spoiled.) Wrong! I opened it right away as soon as I got home and it smelled like sulfur/rotten eggs. I reported it to the online chat -which disconnected me 5 times before I could finish the procedure - I received a $17 credit at least but I will no longer be buying meat here if I can help it. I've had food poisoning one too many times, have several chronic health conditions and I'm just not into gambling with food like that. I just wanted to shop at my local store and cook dinner. If any owners and managers read this PLEASE look into how the meat is being stored. Something is terribly wrong. It's being shipped late, sitting outside, not being kept cool enough or something. Please fix this or not only will people be afraid to buy meat or shop there but someone could wind up in the hospital. This is dangerous. read more

Kroger is my go to pharmacy and grocery store for my family. The staff at the Olive Branch location are hands down much friendlier and more helpful than the one I went to for over 23 years in TN near my home at that time. Today they seemed to have a staffing issue. I had dropped off my prescription earlier in the day. I returned several hours later to grocery shop and pick up my medicine. There was no one in line to picks up meds, so I made a beeline to get mine. And I waited. And I waited. I stood there for 6 min before anyone ever acknowledged me. The transaction went smoothly and the tech was friendly and helpful. A pharmacist had to scan something in to complete the transaction. She never looked at me or acknowledged me in any way. I left feeling like my purchase was more of a nuisance than appreciated. I'm chalking it up to a bad day in the pharmacy and thankful this is not their typical customer service. I bought a large cart full of groceries after purchasing my meds. The checkout lady and the bagger were both very friendly and attentive. I always appreciate it when they offer to help me out to load the groceries. read more

I've been going to this Kroger for more than 28 years. They used to be great but now not so much. DO NOT get delivery. Instacart drivers/shoppers are too lazy to look for items and will buy their things on your dime. I was told they were out of several items all brands (cat litter, roasted chicken, french onion dip) I went up there my self and low an behold there they were. Yes they are thieves. I'm out about $45 dollars for items that I did not order or receive. Kroger won't do anything because Insta cart employees do the shopping. Instacart claims that since it was Kroger that billed my card that it is their responsiblity. (legal loophole) Kroger's point system is worthless. Had 300 points in mid December that were gone by January 1st. I rarely get to use the points I get because they expire much quicker than they claim. I've had coupons for points that were never applied. The only reasons I shopped at Kroger was for the points and delivery service. Piggly Wiggly here I come. read more

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. This location has managed to go from bad to terrible in no time. The fact that I've alloted time to leave a review for a grocery store speaks volumes. For starters, please be sure to check the expiration dates on your items because apparently, this location consistently stock outdated items. Literally, this is an issue every single time. Unfortunately, checking the date on every single item that I touch isn't practical while grocery shopping with a preschooler. As a result, I've gotten home and been disappointed time after time after realizing I bought expired items. Secondly, racial profiling is definitely in over drive at this location. Who wants to be treated like a criminal while spending money on over-priced, expired groceries? Speaking of being treated like a criminal, prepare to experience this as you're self checking your items. On any given day they may have 2 cashiers actually checking out customers and 6 Self Checkout Lanes open by the door. The lines are literally halfway down the aisles. Imagine making a stop to grab pasta sauce for dinner, forced to self checkout and having to wait behind people who have grocery shopped for the month! Only to be watched like a hawk by an angry associate as if you're stealing. Last but not least, the customer service is terrible!!! Specifically from the front end, older cashiers! I'm pretty sure they hate their job because it shows all over their face. Particularly, an older, black woman with a fade who only greets and thanks the Caucasian customers. I'm not even sure why or how she has a job as her trash attitude was horrible when she worked at the Winchester and Hacks Crossing location. In conclusion, all though I live less than 20 minutes from here I will not spend my hard earned money any longer. Hopefully, someone will see this a do better! read more

Stopped here just for a quick fill up of gas and to pick-up some apples to take on the road to go back home. The store is very nice, well taken care of and looks like it was just remodelled. So this is my second review in 2 years of the kroger in olive branch. Its Saturday which is probably one of the busier days. No carts in store. No carts being sanitized. Only 1 or 2 baggers for to 5 lines. Plenty of people dressed like employees walking around. Again I blame the incredibly inept management staff. You seem to have adequate staff by ZERO management skills or you choose to not use them. Absolutely terrible experience almost always at THIS location. read more

If you want a filthy, disgusting grocery with absolutely the worst management you have ever seen, the Collierville, Byhalia Rd store is for you. No baggers, no carts, filthy floors, melted ice cream sections, half empty shelves. Long lines with baggers joking with each other instead of bagging (you have to bag your own) and some of the highest grocery prices in Collierville. The pharmacist working 12/8/19 during the day tour hours was very rude. She walked past me at the counter twice to acknowledge a man sitting in the chair. She preceded to ignore that I was standing at the register to pick up my allergy medication. Another two minutes went by a pharmacy tech was standing looking at her phone she didn't come to the register. So finally the pharmacist decides to say "someone is at the register". It's ridiculous for people to act that way. Most good establishments have greetings these people ignored that I was standing there at the window. Then a line formed with five more people they never greeted. I'll take my prescription somewhere else from here on out. read more

Not understanding what Covid had to do with me not being allowed to purchase milk while I picked up a prescription. I was told that due to Covid over the counter items had to be purchased at a register at the front of the store. So Covid germs only live on over the counter items & the pharmacy tech giving me back change from my cash pharmacy transaction is perfectly fine? My vote is I wasn't allowed to make any additional item purchases to try and control lines which I understand. Just tired of Covid being the excuse for the lack of customer service. read more

This is a pretty good Kroger and they have good looking fresh produce. The staff seem friendly and helpful. Kroger is one of the best grocery stores in Olive Branch. This one has a decent beer selection and you can buy hickory and mesquite wood chunks which is a plus if you are grilling. read more

This Kroger started out 5 star, but recently is at best a 3. Like most who shop Kroger instead of Walmart it is for quality, speed, customer service, deals and for me organic items. Lately items are slow to be replaced on the shelves, organic items are hit or miss and customer service is good. Except in the self checkout. Several times now I only have 2 or 3 items and this lady goes out of her way to touch my food, move my basket and then the ask attendant pops up. Are you serious? 2 items, every time and nothing but attitude as I am doing her a disservice being there. She does it to everyone. Moving to the regular express lines hopefully helps. If not then I guess the store owner can do the talking. Bad Apple ruining it for the rest. Overall it's a great Kroger but don't expect speed checking out. read more

On Saturday, November 5th I was in Kroger @ 7427 Goodman Road Olive Branch, MS and asked to speak to a manager from the Floral Department. The young man went and got Barry Powell. (Senior Co- Manger). I asked if the roses could be discounted because they were somewhat brown. Barry Powell who is a Senior Co Manager reported to the young man that he was not going to tell him to discount anything. I asked him to talk to me and not the young man and that I was the customer. He told me " I Don't care who you are?" HE then walked away. I then told him that I didn't care who he was. He then walked back and brushed past me almost touching my body with his side arm, and told Marcus ,"You see this is what happens when you talk crazy to them. (with my husband standing there). He then grabbed the flowers and handed to the young man and said , "here man take your flowers and put them up." I asked him what was his name he snatched a card from the flower bowl and said, "here it is my name is Barry Powell and you have yourself a God bless you day (very sarcasm) I then asked to see another manager and was told that he was the one in charge. I then walked off and went to the front of the store to see the manager's picture board. I called the store's phone and was told that John Rodriquez (the Store Manger ) was there. I spoke with him and am currently waiting to here back from him. This man Barry Powell seems to have a problem with women as I felt very uncomfortable with his remarks of "this is what happens when you talk crazy to them, they then don't know how to take it" and I am very concerned at his behavior and his training of the young man Marcus who is the Supervisor of the Floral Department. I am requesting a verbal apology from Barry Powell and I feel that he should be suspended for blunt and direct intimidating behavior to me as he was training his employee.
