This is the closest grocery store to me. Parking is typically not bad unless you go during a busy time. After work, Fridays-Sundays seem to always be busy. I usually can find everything I need and almost always have a coupon. The only problem I've ever really had here is people are in such a hurry they rush you at self checkout. Now this Kroger has a pretty good amount of checkout for fewer items then another 3-4 lanes for larger items. You are having to scan and bag everything. I don't mind at all but I don't like when people start scanning stuff while you are trying to bag, it's rude. Please be kind and wait your turn. I try my best to go when it's not busy. read more

This is one of the newest Krogers in the area. It's always clean and tidy and you have no problem getting whatever you need. I will say, I wish they would quit trying to be a super center like Meijer or Walmart. I don't need to buy outdoor furniture, a sweater, and a roomba while I'm getting my groceries. As far as service, it's pretty much self service at this point. There are only a few lanes that have a cashier. This causes major backups on busy holiday weeks. read more

I come to my old hometown when visiting my parents. This usually involves one of them in the hospital which causes undo stress on all family members ..... that break away from stress and parents to keep me sane ? Kroger Wine bar !!! I call it my Kroger therapy and it's the best ever. On a perfect day Linda is there with recommendations and a winetender shoulder to lean on A wonderful couple of tastings to help me decide then I order a glass and buy more than I was planning on ... along with a bottle or two of wine Bonus the cheese people have samples and even bring some by. Have had problems with deals and sales here multiple times they try to force digital coupons all the time often specifying in small type so that you get held up at the checkout and decide its not worth it. Often only one cashier open sometimes just the self checkouts as they have been trying to use less and less labor and instead expect customers to make up for it although id rather avoid the interaction with the employees anyways. Usually has a great selection and they do have decent deals occasionally on some common things or their clearance. read more

Similar to Anchorage's Fred Meyer (Also in the Kroger family), this location offers clothes, shoes and household goods. People from the Midwest used to super Walmarts, that's what this store is like. Prices are as amazing as Kroger is famous for. Because the store has a normal grocery selection, it doesnt feel excessively large; an entire shopping trip can be conducted relatively quickly- not always a good thing. When I was there, they were out of key grocery items that no substitutes exist for, which was disappointing. Maybe they should expand grocery area a bit, and focus on maintaini g stock levels of popular items, if they really want to compete with tje Walmart across the street. read more

On 03/18/2019 at around 8 PM the young guy at the backside of the store, where the milk and creamers are in the fridge, was very helpful and went out of his way to find what I was looking for. I was about to give up on the item, but he showed me where it was. Great professional help, thank you! This store is well stocked with hard to find specialty foods even for vegetarians! I love this Kroger. It is the best grocery store in the area for certain. They always have a great selection of fresh meat, cheese, and cakes. The wine selection is one of the best in the area. Also, the produce is better and always keeps longer than the other stores. The new scan as you go system that they just implemented is fantastic, especially if you have the reusable bags, you scan, drop it in, and then at the very end you just scan the checkout machine, pay and leave. much more organized and quicker end process. read more

This Kroger has kept it's end of the deal during covid. The workers are never slacking, the store is clean and well stocked at all times. Workers are kind and never rude. Never a TP shortage here anymore. The current baggers could do better about keeping the carts off of the main sidewalk leading out past HandyCap parking. read more

I hate going to Kroger. It's always such a cluster to get what I need quickly and get out. I don't want to sit down and drink a beer and shop for patio furniture at a grocery store. Come on - give me a break! I just need some bread and milk! I was a regular at Giant Eagle and knew the butchers by first name basis. Need a steak cut an inch thick - no problem. Just had the worst shopping experience at this Krogers. I tried buying a three pack of Cetaphil face soap at the self checkout. The item wouldn't ring up and the computer repeatedly told me to "put the item to the side." I had to wait probably three minutes for the self checkout employee to come help me while everybody in the line gave me dirty looks. The employee comes over and can't scan the item either. After sitting there for probably five minutes watching the employee try to ring up the item with no success, I told the employee I no longer wanted the item. I was about 10 seconds away from leaving my entire order at the self checkout. Your failed systems caused you to not only lose the sale of the Cetaphil Face Soap Bars, but you also lost a very loyal customer. read more

I am a mother of a young boy dependent on formula. I opened one of his last cans.(I usually buy 3-4 at a time) and there was a slice in the seal. While it looked at a box cutter from a stocker I was not about to assume with my son's health on the line. I went to kroger to simply exchange it. I did nothing else to the can. I didnt want my money back or a credit. I just wanted my baby to eat that night. I was given the run around. I waited for 20 minutes while they "reviewed " my kroger card. They then told me I had no purchases for this formula. I exclusively buy formula from kroger for fuel points so I've purchased about 30 cans in the last 3 months, yet no purchases could be verified. This is where it gets really bad. The associate who "reviewed" my card told me "I guess you can get a new one, but you know I really hope your telling the truth because if not well loose money." Is money really more important than children? What if I was an out of towner and that was all I had, would my son have starved because I bought it at a different store? How can one person/company be so selfish? Screw the fuel points I will be purchasing my formula else where. read more

This is a beautiful, expansive store with a little bit of just about everything for just about everyone. My favorite part is the WINE BAR. Yes, there's a wine bar at the grocery store! I like Kroger a lot & shop there every week. It also has the best selection of organic produce over all the other stores in the area. I was very disappointed today, however, to find out today that have discontinued the hand-held scanners for shoppers because "not enough people were using them". It's so fast & convenient to scan your groceries as you shop, place them your bag and go through the self serve checkout. At checkout you scan the register screen, pay and you're done. Groceries are already bagged so you're on your way in just a minute or two. Instead of getting rid of all of them I wish they had reduced the # of scanners instead. Also, I don't think many people were aware of them or how to use them. I've had other customers ask me about them while I'm shopping & usually seemed surprised about how easy & convenient they are to use. Some advertising efforts with brief instructions in the store may have increased interest in using them. read more

I want to say that Sandra that answered the phone is an asset o your store. I called looking to find a Kroger that carried Karma water. She is the only one out of five stores that I called that would even go look for herself. I would be driving from the Michigan line and appreciate her effort. Some worker named Ed who was wearing glasses and a red vest was so rude. Asked about coupons at the customer service and he made rude remarks towards me. He was staring down and the workers at the checkout and creeped me out. Just stood around doing nothing. My family and I LOVE this store. For the most part, the employees are very nice. The exception being a few "snotty" ones and a bagger that begs for tips. One time he had the audacity to ask me for a couple of beers I had purchased for my husband if I wasn't going to give him a cash tip. For this reason, I will never ask for help out - especially if it's from that bagger. read more
