This store really needs help. I have tired giving them multiple opportunities and each time it gets worse. I am not going to go into detail on the multiple occasions that they do not have produce. I want to keep it simple and address the staffing issue. They are ALWAYS understaffed. On this particular night there was no one in the butcher department. (Like always) A styrofoam plate was propped up with a sharpie signing "Out to lunch. Be back in 30 minutes. " Ok? When did you leave for lunch? Was five minutes ago was it 20 minutes ago? So I continued to shop and came back 15 minutes later and proceeded to wait. I figured I'd only have about 15 minutes to wait at the most. I waited a total of 45 minutes and no one returned. I finally went over to the bakery to ask if anybody was there to help. She said I have no clue. I'll try and call someone. I said OK thank you kindly. I went back to the butcher area. I waited another 10 minutes, at this point multiple customers were coming up to me poking fun of at the fact that I was waiting there so long. One of them even said I could have cooked steak and eaten it already. Funny yes. But man, this store really needs to get it together. There is never anyone in the cheese department to cut the high end cheeses as well. This is fine. But if you are offering the services at least have the staff to provide it.

I stopped here for gas since I get a discount with my Kroger card. They have quite a few pumps, so I didn't have to wait. The gas station is in the same parking lot as the grocery store and the Kroger has a Starbucks.

Not even a single checker.... I would like the option of interacting with a human. Self checkout is fine just not by force. Not cool Kroger

I am at the store at 11:30am. 2 lanes open and one set of self check outs open. Lines are all backed up and I am on the job.

Typical Kroger's with a great location, smiling faces that are eager to assist. This Kroger's s well kept and maintained.

They do have a gas station, however it is oddly located across Main Street where the old Kroger used to be.

I used to shop at, and love this store, because they had items I could not find elsewhere, and I found their products, though somewhat higher priced, were always excellent in quality, and their service superior. I no longer feel this way. Recently my daughter, on my 80th birthday, ordered and had delivered from your store a medium size $19 fresh flower arrangement plus some other items. These were delivered by a woman I assumed worked for your store. Sadly, the flowers were already wilting, and I had to throw them away the following day. I went by your store awhile later and told your service department what happened and asked if they would replace the flowers. She said I'd have to take that up with Instacart. I asked if I could speak with manager there. Told her I'd be happy with just one of their $4.00 bouquets. She went back. Came out, "He said No." Told her, we would never be back, and we have not.

With that being said, the wear can be seen. Service was solid, as you would expect. Store was clean, carts were available and shelves were stocked. Keep in mind Hendersonville is definitely suburbs, so they happen to close fairly early, even on the weekends. Overall, solid Publix location. No issues, would swing by when in the area.

Another rare five-star review but this place definitely deserved every star!…read more I learned about the little taco shop in the back from an Instagram post and convinced my husband that we needed to give it a try. First off, plenty of parking. Bonus. When you walk into the store, everything smells clean and fresh. The grocery section is well organized. The produce section is overflowing with fresh veggies that are well-priced. You can find most everything you are looking for at a grocery store. In the back of the store, they have a deli and a little taco shop. There are tables and chairs, so you can eat there or take your food to go. My husband got two Quesabirria Tacos and a side of rice and beans. I ordered three street-style tacos: Carnitas, Barbaco and Pescado, which was grilled. I also ordered a side of plantains. Throw in a bottle of water and the total bill was $31. There was so much food that I had to take the rice and beans, 2 tacos and my plantains home. I just could not eat any more! They have housemade salsa that they sell in pint containers. The Salsa Verde was so delicious that I have been putting it on all my food this past week. It's spicy but not overpowering. I'm going back just to get more of that salsa! Reading the comments from the Instragram post, people told the IG poster not to give away locals' secrets. This definitely is a hidden gem!

From the outside, Garden Fresh looks like a big place, but once you walk in, you realize that it is a lot smaller than imagined. Even with a smaller space, they have this placed packed with all the goods from a small produce and veggie section, packaged meat, freezer, rice, dry goods, snacks, drinks, toiletries, etc...and of course they have a meat/seafood counter where you can get the freshest of proteins! I would like a bit more selection of pre-packaged/bulk meats on the shelves as the lines for the meat counter along with the line for the cocina can become overwhelming. While the store is packed with goods, this is a great thing, but also makes it hard to maneuver as the aisles and spaces are pretty small. A lot of "excuse me", "my bad" while shopping. Speaking of the cocina...in the back of the store you will find a small counter where they are slinging the freshest tacos, quesadillas, birria, nachos, tamales and more! While I may not pick up groceries on each visit, I do always make sure to pick up a taco or three to go! If you want to eat in, they do have a few tables as well. Service is always friendly and they are staffed well, notably for the busier times...which is more times than not, especially on the weekends! Condition of the store is decent. The shopping plaza is pretty unsavory, but once you get inside you are good and things turn around! Overall, great spot in Madison!

I do not normally shop here as my go-to Kroger is in Goodlettsville, but when I make my weekend Costco runs, popping into this location is a solid experience. Love the layout, shelves are always stocked and aisles clear. Can usually find what I am looking for without issue. My only concern with products I have picked up here would be the freshness of the fruits/veggies. My latest trip I picked up oranges and cucumber, and had to plan to use them on the next evenings dinner. When I went to use one of the oranges was moldy and the cucumber had started to become soft. I don't expect fruits and veggies to last for weeks, but I do expect a good 24 hours. Service is okay here. They have a healthy amount of self-check, but I have found the self-check cashiers are not super attentive and tend to get caught in conversation with each other. When the lines are not wild, I prefer to go through a standard check out lane. Service is always a bit better there. Overall, decent Kroger. Not my go-to, but that is mainly due to location. Solid 3.5 stars, so I will toss up to 4 for them.

The one in Glenbrook never has the customer service window open. So, you've got to really pay attention to every ring up and make them fix it there at the register. Several times I've purchased the day old rotisserie chicken that is marked at about 1/2 price. I get home, and they've rung it up at full price. Today, I purposely put the two marked down items at the very end of the check out belt with the marked down stickers clearly showing When I mentiond that the chicken didn't ring up right, she said it wasn't marked. I know it positively was marked. She asked the bagger (a manager) to look...he quoted the full price. So, either the cashier (an older lady) removed it, or the manager went along with her and removed it, but it definitely disappeared in just a few seconds. I have been shopping Kroger less and less lately. The aggravation is not worth it.

I was greeted as soon as I got to the store (I believe her name was Sam), and not only was she very welcoming and personable, but she also had some snack style samples offered-and let's just say I'm pretty sure I just found my new favorite snack-Strawberry and blueberry pretzels! Then, as I was doing my shopping, I had another employee (I'm so sorry, I didn't catch their name!) ask me if I was finding everything ok, and I replied with what I was on the hunt for (a very specific vitamin) and they showed me right to them, and asked if I would like some help finding anything else! Honestly, I can't remember the last time that I went grocery shopping and had someone ask me if I needed help finding anything, so this interaction really stuck out to me. As I went to check out, I was greeted with a SMILE and a "how are you, did you find everything ok today?"....checkout was fast and friendly! I just felt like everyone working there went above and beyond to make my (usually dreaded) shopping trip enjoyable-from being helpful, to simply smiling at me as we walked past each other, and even the bonus snack samples. The places I normally shop at (closer to my place) seem to be filled with employees that have a "ugh I don't want to be here right now" vibe (if you know what I mean), and I think that after getting used to seeing that all the time, and then coming here and having this experience today is a pretty darn good reason for me to break up with my old grocery stores, drive a bit farther and just come here from now on.
