I like the cashiers at this store beyond that it's a disappointment. Restroom is dirty with dusty dirty vents. In one of the stalls the lever on the door is replaced with a screw hanging out. Normally I'm pretty happy with this store. I mostly do pickups. On November 19 I scheduled a pickup for their noon to 1:00 pm window. 90 minutes after my on time arrival I'm still in a line wrapped around the parking lot progress has been ridiculously slow. Until today I thought they used the windows to reduce wait times. Now I feel they're like the close door button on the elevator. I understand there are new Covid rules in place and that could be the cause. In my wait I've called the store and regional numbers with no explanation for the wait. Would choose zero starts if available!! Worst experience I've ever had in a kroger ever. Customer service employees were beyond rude! Customer service had an attitude with me, and completely disrespectful for my request for money orders. Tabytha the customer service employee was so rude and Becca (she said she was the supervisor/manager for customer service). They both accused me of money laundering because I had too much money to ask for money orders. And I didn't have a social security card with me?? (Who carries a SS card in their wallet!? It even says not to on the card itself, so crazy. I gave my SS # no problem since they were so adamant about it. ‍ I said I'd go somewhere else if it was too much to ask for and was an issue, and they said they would report me for doing this? I had my 2 year old son with me, trying to get money orders because my husband and I don't have a bank account here. I tried to explain we sold some furniture and didn't have a way to deposit since wells fargo doesn't have a bank here, but they didn't respond or care. Just ignored me. They still showed me complete disrespect and unkindness, continuing to treat me as though I was a criminal in some way? And on top of everything else Tabytha (customer service employee) got an attitude with me when I asked about my license, (she still had it & I didn't want to lose it), her saying she would give back my ID once she gave me a receipt, rolling her eyes and getting an attitude and disrespectful tone with me Becca got an attitude with me because they charged me $50 for 6 money orders that should of have been about $5 total. When I came back and asked for a manager, Becca wouldn't get one for me and wouldn't give me the cash back... finally she did refund my $ after talking to some manager I guess(one I never saw). read more

The new and improved Kroger is the best around. This location is HUGE. There isn't much this store doesn't sell, which could contribute to the one downfall of the store. We've been shopping at this Kroger since we bought our house last year, and they almost always have what we're looking for, with the rare exception. I just joined yelp the other day, and today I decided to write my first review about my experience. I just picked up a kitchen aid stand mixer the other day, so I went in looking for ingredients for a recipe (Cranberries) and I knew they were out of season, but I was hoping I could still get them frozen. I wandered around for a while looking for the cranberries, working my way through the produce, and on through the frozen foods, when one of the employees putting away stock (His name was Scott) asked me if I found everything okay. I told him I was looking for cranberries, and he stopped what he was doing and helped me look in the frozen food section, and then referred me back up to the produce area, because he was nearly certain they had them. So I went back up there, to no avail. No big deal I thought, heck, I'm the guy trying to make cranberry relish in the middle of the summer. So I went back to the rest of my shopping, and about 20 minutes later, I ran into Scott again. He came over to me, and asked if i found what I was looking for. When he found out I hadn't, he actually stopped what he was doing again to walk with me back up front to check for himself, because he was so sure they carried them. Then when we got back up front, one of the other stockers also asked what we were looking for. We never actually found them, but I thought the level of service from these guys was top notch. Aside from that, when we walked up to the Deli counter, the girl was right on it, asking us what we needed right away without making us feel like we're a bother, and when we put our shopping cart back in the cart corral the girl collecting the carts told me thanks for giving it to her, and told me to have a great day. Each employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which is unfortunately surprising in the service industry of today. It's the little things like this that will keep customers coming back. I'm not the type of consumer that believes that everyone should carry everything, so I wasn't bummed out they didn't have them (because they are seasonal anyways), so I'm not detracting any stars for it. Needed some odds and ends, store is not busy but because Kroger is trying to wipe out cashiers only 3 checkouts are open plus the self checkout. The lines and self checkouts were all backed up. I was in a rush and ended up leaving our groceries behind. If this trend continues I will be shopping at local independent stores. Also I get no benefit to going through self checkout, I'm scanning and bagging yet no savings for me. Not happy. read more

I'm at Kroger in Taylor, Michigan and I had paid for my food with my Bridge Card and I was gonna pay for my air freshener with my credit card, and I had 20 cents in bottles. Then my whole order was not going thru, even after I paid for the air freshener in cash. The cashier didn't know how to fix the problem, so she had to call this guy to help her. He finally fixed it. I told her that the system must be messed up. Then even after all that, I smiled and said, "have a nice day, and she didn't even say anything. She was very rude! It was the cashier in aisle 9. I always order the fried chicken for parties, but we had a Christmas party yesterday and I picked up my 50 piece order and took it to the party. It was the worst I've ever had!Totally humiliated! This is one of the nicer Kroger locations in the area. They're currently remodeling to include a new addition. They have a nice selection of organic & health foods. While Kroger stores never have the produce selection and variety of Meijer, what items they do offer are fresh and good quality. read more

Kroger is my Last Resort store . I went in for alfalfa sprouts. they were out . Bought some avocados on sale .50 cents each . Not too fresh tuned brown fast . I regretfully went to U Scan & avocados didn't scan right , I called The extremely RUDE attendant. She said give It here . The price she got was wrong. I told her they are . 50 Each . Finally she got it right . And she just walks away saying nothing .. I was in a hurry or I would have told management . Kroger Sucks . Following the renovation this store now carries a huge selection of goods. It has a wonderful produce section, deli, and fresh seafood section which I shop several rimes a week. They carry lots of organic selections as well throughout the store. It also has a bank and pharmacy. My only complaint is that since the renovation I still have problems finding some items. Hours are 7am to midnight. I find that the best selection is available early in the day. This store is very popular and the parking lot is usually full from about 1pm to 7 or 8 pm. read more

I was taken back and very embarrassed by this. Even when he realized I was standing there he was very rude to me. this store caused me to have an over draft fee from my checking acct the rep was on the line while on the line had me to call my bank flagstar bank and the rep from my bank told her that they caused me to have the over draft fee because the cashier took my card out of my hand and run my card again when I told her it went thru the first time, they took the amount of 71.32 twice they refunded to my checking account the 2nd 71.32 that they took and the dept that over sees this knew they did it but they want me to send in a copy of my bank statement. they can go to hell, I'm going to file a consumer complaint on Kroger with the atty general office for the state of MI. Don't shop Kroger. In addition, I've left a message for their CFO by the name of j. Michael Schlotman to call me and for the President &COO by the name of Michael L. Ellis to call me and I left for message for the Jayne Homoc she is the over the MI division of Kroger's to call me back.
