They have upgraded and moved everything around. They have lots of beautiful fruit and veggies now. They do have organic too. Still have bakery and deli, butcher counter. Meat and seafood look wonderful. Good selection of all groceries. The store is clean, well lit and well stocked and it has a hot food deli and carries a large assortment of specialty items that I tend to buy often. The staff is courteous and friendly. However, this store gouges on prices terribly. This is a very, very, very expensive store. You can get a handful of items and you are over a hundred dollars. I purchased a small can of lysol spray and it was almost $9.00. Again this is a small can. Not an average size can. I did not check the price until I made it in and I checked the receipt. A small package of chopped beef is $12.00. Again, this package is very small. Bausch + Lomb 'Areds 2' Eye vitamins were $30.00. Genteal Eye drops gel were $12.99. A small pack of chicken thighs were over $8.00. A very small pack of Ozarka Spring Water was $6.49. A regular size box of tall trash bags is $10.99. Everything has higher than normal prices and I no longer blame the pandemic. The stores are seeing record profits and the food manufacturers too. How is this when they claim they have to pass higher prices to consumers and it sounds like they are just breaking even when that's not the case at all. Again, they are making record profits. A news report came out that went into detail about how much of a record they were hitting and this comes at the expense of the struggling consumer. Kroger has just not readjusted downwards its prices. They've kept their prices at pandemic pricing and the only entity this serves is themselves and their bottom line. Yes I can go elsewhere. But every grocer is doing this. They are fleecing people. That's why Kroger deserves one star and honestly not even that. read more

They built a new door to the deli a couple of years ago. Every single time I go to use that door the door is locked. Ridiculous. Go to the bigger Kroger down the street. It's not great but it is better than this location. read more

I use the pick up they never get things right I've changed different stores doesn't make any difference ever who picks up the groceries substitutes for whatever they want. No I do not recommend them. read more

I was in dire need of medicine for my mother. I traveled a ways wonder to get her medicine. I walk in I see a line of customers. I wait, wait, wait, line slowly moves. No drive through because of understaffed. This is not the Kroger I once knew. read more

The service is terrible here. I have to go at least twice a week and I hate it! The pharmacy is always delayed by hours . There's always construction going on. No one ever offers you help . They are always out of stock of anything that you have coupons for ! read more

Excellent grocery store. My wife and I love Kroger. Excellent quality of food, affordable prices, and friendly staff if you need anything. I would also venture to say that Kroger brand food items are usually (not always) just as good as name brand. The Kroger granola bars have been the only mishap I've encountered. They also have plenty of coupons available for download on the phone app. read more

The pharmacy at this location is among the worst I have ever seen. Multi hour wait, the support staff is very unprofessional. I wouldn't go here if the medication was free. The staff lack ability and any semblance of customer service. Absolute waste of time. read more

I'm at this Kroger often, and I've had great experiences and very helpful customer service most of the time. My only complaint is about some of the self-checkout helpers. I know both of their names, but I won't put them on here. Two women (one is there all the time and the other I've only seen once) were seriously rude to me when my coffee wouldn't scan. Like, it wasn't that big of a deal, but the new one snapped at me when I moved to a different scanner. The other one always has an attitude no matter how polite I am to her, so I'm used to that. But to have both of them treat me like an inconvenience and an idiot is ridiculous. I've worked in customer service. I know about helping rude customers, so I'd never ever be impolite. So to be treated disrespectfully over something so silly is not okay. Hope I don't have the same experience there again because that was a letdown. read more

Very poor management! They are always out of carts. Don't ever go into their store on a weekend. Their shelves are always empty. The store manager never acknowledges the customers or even looks at them. His employees follow is lead except for the produce manager. The product manager is friendly. Their meats are poor quality. Chicken breasts have a ton of gristle and taste like rubber. I bought ground beef on three different occasions and within a day the entire package turned brown. The employee at customer service was so use to the returns of the meat that he said to me, "I think the meats get too hot!" They freeze their baked goods then thaw them and sale them. A just recently bought a king cake and it was extremely dry and tasted like frost burn. They've replaced many national brands with Kroger brands and they don't compare. The hormel Teriyaki pork tenderloin was great but they no longer sell it. I asked if they can order it for me and they said NO!! Enough said!! HORRIBLE KROGER!! read more

We really like this store. We have shopped here since the store opened. The employees are friendly and helpful. However on December 23, 2018 the ladies restroom was in terrible shape. The latch on one stall was broken, the seat in one stall was loose, one stall was missing the hook where a lady would hang her purse. We still like the store and will continue to shop there. It would just be good for a female supervisor to thoroughly check the ladies room every day. read more

This is a small store and never stocked. This is the nearest grocery store to us. Closes at 11 and customer only check out after 10pm. Expiration dates or always close or after date so I have to always pay attention. Several times there has been no ground beef or boneless chicken. I can not run in for a quick stop and know I need something at the last minute. read more

This is the nearest Kroger to me. I do about 70% of my grocery shopping here. I usually find Kroger to have pretty good deals on things and the points for gas fillups are nice. I like that this Kroger is smaller and less crowded than most of the other Krogers. That said, due to its size, it has a much smaller selection of goods than the other Madison location. Most of the time it is OK, but there are certain items I have learned to not even bother to look for here and I just head over to the bigger store down the road. read more

This store is a total wreck! For the last two years the store has fallen apart down to that displays and a service. Bad management in the store!!! Customer service is a nightmare they won't honor it rain checks. The big dogs at Corporate office Kroger need to come visit the store!! One of those old companies trying to stay with changing times and not doing a good job. Kmart, Sears, could not sit new ways. Kroger has followed suit!!! Do not shop at this Kroger!
