I have to stop here frequently and I'd say the worst Kroger I've ever gone to. In the mornings the self check out cashiers will stand there and watch you bag tons of groceries ( since no one is there to help at an actual register.) No help offered no nothing. Most of the time they'll just stand there and watch you walk out without saying thank you or anything. I'm not sure what has happened to this place over the last year and a half but it has truly gone downhill. The store is filthy, the bathrooms are beyond comprehension, a third of the checkout stations are out of order, ........ This is obviously a local management issue that is not being addressed, and apparently not a concern by Kroger corporate! Can someone explain to me how I just wasted 30 minutes of my life speaking ​to​ 2 employees, 1 supervisor, and 1 manager about their return policy on opened cellphones, and every one of them told me absolutely no refunds on cellphone​s no matter what? Kroger pick up and delivery service is a hit or miss proposition. They do honor their delivery times but you never know if your pick up is going to be ready when they say or if it will be or if it would be 2 or 3 or more hours late. Other issue is that they use bags and do not protect the produce in any way shape or form. It usually arrives bruised. The other issue is refrigerated items. They say they keep them cool, but that is not exactly correct. They may be cooler than room temperature, but not much. That means when you pick up your food, things like dairy products will be compromised. Expect them to go sour in just a day or two. I'm frozen will be on its way to being defrosted when you receive it. read more

The cashiers are thrives. I when here Saturday evening my order was 158.. I gave the cashier $130.00 in cash. And the remaining balance of $28.88 on my debit card. The cashier tells me I need to do my card again it didn't take. So when I go check my account on Sunday I have to transactions on my account. And I am out of $130 in cash. I have called the store twice for a store manager today and I keep being put on hold and then hung up on. I need my money back. I need some answers. Honestly, the store itself is fine. The employees are helpful and kind (for the most part). Although, during training I'd mention the importance of smiling when you're at work. It makes you more approachable and disarms shoppers that may be afraid to ask for help. I work in customers service and the one thing I know more than anything is SMILE! The employees aren't unkind, they just, at times, come across as not wanting to be there. My biggest issue though, your bathroom is disgusting. Always. Literally, I've never shopped here and the bathroom not be disgusting and/or needing repairs. It's a bathroom, I get it. But as I said, I work I customer service, and part of my job involves cleaning restrooms. It's more important than you know. Especially when you're dealing with a business that offers a bathroom facility AND food and/or groceries. In my experience, the condition of your restroom isn't too far off from the conditions of the other areas of your store. If you can't take care of what is seen, how does the back of your store, the unseen, if you will, look. All that to say, y'all can do better. Much better. read more

-10 honestly. I don't usually leave reviews but I want to save someone else the frustration. I ordered a pickup order for 4pm. I had the "manager" of the pickup call me at 4 that my order wouldn't be ready until after 6 because they were short staffed. Then at 6:30 I went up there. Checked in and waited.. nobody came out so I called. They said no it's not ready and that they just started picking the 4pm orders and that there were 10 things left to pick on my order and that I could come the next day to pick it up. So you mean to tell me it takes from 6:30-8pm to pick 10 more things. Also gave me no time for the next day to pick stuff up. Just said sometime tomorrow. This store is the worst grocery store i have ever been to. Everyone seems miserable or clueless working there and their customer service is sh*t. Pay the extra and go to Publix like i usually do. Lesson learned today on why I avoid this Kroger at all costs. read more

This location is another one of my favorite Kroger's because it's very low key. There is never a mass mob of people in here and it's one of the nicer stores. I came here after another Kroger on the same road turned down my coupons for Tide. The lady was rude and I left everything on the belt. Drove a few more miles and voila. A totally different atmosphere. The employees are helpful and nice and the lines were not long. They had plenty of cashiers and stock of sale items which is what I wanted. End of story. read more

But as a visitor of this location....it was extremely off putting to walk past the seafood section actually wanting seafood....only to see the person prepping the food for the display case sniffing the fish. With his whole nose. This was yesterday evening after 5:30. He had on no mask. Only gloves. Just imagine...what if he was sick. What if he had COVID. What if he had a booger in his nose? And Kroger expects me to buy some damn fish that I saw a man sniff? That's extremely disgusting and as much as I want to say I'm shocked...I'm really not. People do NOT care about what they do. On Dec. 1st at approx. 1:40 pm, I stopped in Krogers in Fayetteville (Summit) to pick up two items before going to my 2pm appt. nearby. To make a long story short, the trainer of the cashier was so blatantly rude to me. Not only was this young man rude but he lacked the people skills needed especially during holidays when emotions may already be guarded. He was so busy being rude that neither he nor the cashier he was training gave me the Kroger discount despite my card being in front of them. I was so taken aback by the trainer's rudeness, that I didn't realize that I was being charged a little over $10 dollars. To add insult to injury, when I called the store an hour later to speak with the manager, I was told that he was out until Sunday so I was transferred (after a 10min wait) to an assistant who was equally rude. I tried to explain the incident to this alleged assistant named "C" (intentionally abbreviated), who kept cutting me off stating, "how can I help you" over and over instead of listening to how he could help. In addition, when I went to describe the 2 employees by providing their names, his remark was that Kroger have 160 employees working in the store. I then stated that all 160 employees are not currently working and that this incident just happened an hour ago, at which point the alleged assistant hung up on me. I pass TWO Krogers to go to this Krogers in Fayetteville thinking I'd receive good service and in the past this has been true. However, lately, with the hiring of younger people during the holiday time, I find these generations X, Z, millennials etc. to be short tempered (especially with the elderly) and lack people skills needed when dealing with the public. It was bad for the cashier trainer to be so poorly equipped dealing with the public however it's even worst when the management is equally rude and poorly equipped, lacking communication skills. What a disappointment all around; I probably would have done better going to a Kroger in the hood!!!! read more

The young lady serving the check-out customers was horrible today. She was unresponsive and just not helpful at all. I wanted to redeem a digital coupon for tissue paper that was on sale, and I asked her several questions about the process. She was so uninterested that she failed to explain that I needed to "clip" the coupon before I scanned the item. Well, thank you very much young lady, you are standing here half engaging with me and you couldn't tell me this. I let her know that I was not happy with her non-service. I actually ended up removing the tissue from my original purchase and making a 2nd purchase with only the tissue so I could use the coupon. I figured this out without the help of the check-out attendant. I failed to get her name because I was so busy ripping her one for being so dismissive and unhelpful. I've been coming to this Kroger for years. I've never really had any issues. They are sometimes out of some of the things on my list, but that's no biggie. Staff is always friendly. Bathrooms sometimes are not very clean. There is a Starbucks by the produce section, which is nice! They also have a pretty good all organic section! read more

The pharmacy is absolutely HORRIBLE!! They have the phone disconnected so you're unable to speak with anyone. When you request a refill on the app they don't refill it. They are slow and rude. I will be finding another pharmacy that actually cares about their patrons. read more

Yeah, that's right, I'm Yelping a Kroger. This one's Yelp-worthy because of the renovation. We now have a great new organic section with bulk foods, a soup bar, salad bar and ready-made food section. It's easy to navigate (though BIG) and there are great new areas like the kitchen goods section. This store has always been clean, friendly and well-stocked, but the renovation has cemented it as my grocery of choice. Now, if only they'd carry my preferred dishwasher liquid, we'd be solid :-) read more

After placing an online order to be ready between 5-6pm. Arriving at 5:15, told there were 8 cars ahead of me. Waited to 6:15, called manager and explained I would wait another 5 minutes. Was informed my order was ready but it never made its way to my vehicle. I called the Store manager who offered no apology but offered several excuses. I couldn't wait any longer and had to cancel. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I moved an hour away but was in town briefly for something. Ran by to buy 4 $50 gift cards for gifts. Get home and realize that the numbers don't match up on my receipt for the gift cards. Cashier switched them?? Went to my local Kroger, they say they can't do anything but verify that cards have zero balance. Call this Kroger where they were purchased and they say I have to drive there to get resolution. I have to break down this review into two parts Grocery and Pharmacy. First let me say that they parking lot is always clean. Plenty of cart return areas and plenty of trash cans. The entrances are well located and always have carts in them. We are lucky to have a Starbucks in this locations. They are great people and always good service in there. Grocery.. I never have any problems with. Always a great selection in all areas. The fresh deli and bakery top notch. Lots of isles just packed full with everything you can think of. Fresh meats are always available and the meat counter is always quick to help if needed. Dairy is great. Frozen food awesome. There is always enough check out counters open and of course you can always use self check out if needed. The bathrooms are usually very clean. Especially the one by the pharmacy. Speaking of pharmacy ... I would rather not. I have not had good luck there. They all seem to have attitudes. I always hear their personal problems being discussed. There is not some special sound barrier glass that blocks out the baby-mama drama from being shared with the customers. I dont want to hear your problems. I have enough of my own. Not to mention they never have what I need or are slow to fill requests. You are better off doing your grocery shopping here and then going to Jones Pharmacy two miles up the road for your prescriptions. read more

Produce is always fresh and well stocked. Meat market is always helpful in purchasing the correct cuts of meat. People are alway friendly and helpful. Store is well stocked and clean. And i like getting point and lowering my fuel cost at the kroger gas station. read more

My family and I love shopping at this Kroger! The employees are always friendly and help me, if needed. The prices are great and they started to sell more of a variety of items. The downfall is the way they now have everything set up and the availability of items. I enjoyed and understood the old layout of products much more than the current setup. It also seems like items aren't always in stock. We recently started using the delivery and pickup options at this location. As someone who has shopped at this Kroger since they opened, I love this place! Even now in these trying times, they do the best they can to make sure I have what I need. Their employees are always kind and helpful. Checkout is fast and friendly. The one complaint I do have is one of their new managers, Johnny Turner. I have had the misfortune of meeting him twice. He was very short with me. He treats loyal costumers as if they're an annoyance, and he made a scene yelling at one of his employees in front of us as we were checking out! The poor girl was in tears! I only hope he doesn't treat all of his employees that way. Besides all that, Krogers is a wonderful place for me and my family to shop. read more

Went in with my toddler and the lines were very long. When I first entered I noticed 2 women at two "self checkout stations" spreading out coupons. I Picked up my items and got in line. The lines weren't moving so I stepped out of line and came back. The point is I was in the store for some time before realizing the reason the self checkout lines weren't moving...the coupon ladies. One lady left the line (leaving her items, buggie and coupons) to continue shopping and returned minutes later. Since no one seemed to care mention it, I brought this to the attention of the manager who looked blankly at me and said "okay thanks". I go out of my way now to another store, that's cleaner, better selection, and moving lines. read more

The layout of this store is something my 5 year old could better plan out. Soon as you walk in rather than seeing Customer Service you see Starbucks.....really?? You have to go around an entire business to get to the customer service for the original business. In the bakery you would expect to find bread.....well you find the bread made on site, but if you want regular sliced bread, that is 4 aisles down.....after passing thru the HEALTHY (i.e. overpriced) section. The cheese/milk/OJ/butter are spread across half the store. Want a specific snack? Be ready to go thru 3-4 different aisles.....the brands are on each but they mix and match where everything is. The layout of this store is cramped in the aisle due to massive amounts of products put out as makeshift stands that you can only go thru one-way, if someone is coming the other way one of you has to turn into an aisle to get around. This place is the textbook example of how NOT to layout a store.....no thought, no coherence, no flow of items. They are out of advertised things constantly, so they suggest using the click list shopper, but guess what, when you do and pay for everything, the first thing they do is come out with a HUGE list of substituted items.....then when you say that the substitute items aren't what you want, they go get what you ordered the first time......REALLY??? You don't want to sell me what I ordered but your more than happy to get rid of your excess off-brand crap. Lastly, while the check out is okay, the baggers are more than happy to place your bread, eggs, chips, and anything else that can be crushed on the bottom of your cart, then hastily stack all the heavy items on top. When you tell them to stop, they give you a nasty look. read more

I am a Kroger fan, recently, some employees seem to be miserable and could care less about their loyal customers. Once, I was checking out by a gentleman at the register and he was throwing all my can goods on top of my bread, chips and a pecan pie, that broke off the crust.. I gave him the pie back and asked him to refund the pie.. since he broke the crust off... He just looked at me and said nothing. Maybe that was the best thing at the moment. Today, 08-24-2019 around 10am.. again only 2 check out lanes were open. This time was a young lady that didn't want to be there anymore than I wanted to be there.. Very sad to watch employees with such bad attitudes.. If this ever happens again, I will leave the buggy right there and change grocery stores.. even thou I have to visit publix for Olive load from the deli.. since Kroger doesn't carry this in stock. The quality of this location has aways been somewhat subpar from lack of staffing, long lines at checkout, inconsistencies in stocking and availability of items, (the olive bar was completely closed today, on Friday, and was told due to staffing), several times resulting a trip to another store to complete the list, but since the attention is now directed to home delivery, the place the is nightmare to shop. There's never any management to be seen and good luck calling customer service. Terrible! Go to the Publix across the street. read more
