Doctors messed up and sent two prescription's one for one a day and another for 2 a day. I have been out of this medicine for 4 days because doctor do not talk to each other. the pharmacist refused both and wouldn't even give a night's worth of medication. This is not a narcotic or an abusive drug this has set my rehabilitation back about a week. I am trying to recover from Prostate Cancer; I am not sure if this is a good way to do business. Easy to find most products in this big place, easy parking and location, I have become very familiar with the great Private Selection brand. But please, pay your employees a real wage! It is weird to see good people working hard, hear from my friends who worked for Kroger in high school, put up with rude customers, taking care of this business on the proper front face to face, and all that for a pennies compared to insane profits generated for the big wigs. I want to see clearance goods better labeled too and presented to ensure food waste is minimized with produce. How can anyone think labeling a basic discount on food expiring the next day is some service to customers? It grosses me out shopping here with the price gouging; the discount isles should be spread across more places as we all know these massive stores throw away an incredible amount of totally edible food! Rewards program is sketch despite its advertising otherwise, gasoline discounts take ages to add up while offering rarely better prices compared to looking through gas buddy app prices. DO NOT COME HERE. I had a instacart order, when I got there it was 10PM (which is when they close) I went in and asked the manager standing by the exit NICELY if they were still open, she says "how'd you get in?!" I said "through the door?" She says "no. It was locked" I said "no it wasn't?" And tell her I have an instacart order and she says "no you don't" i tell her "what am I supposed to do?" She proceeds to tell me to cancel it and I let her know if I cancel it, it goes against me. As I exit the store she whispers "I love how you opened the door though" I yell back "but I didn't though" THEN as another man tries to walk in she yells at the man "YOU CANT OPEN MY DOOR! THAT OTHER GUY (me) COULD'VE KILLED ME! HE COULD'VE ROBBED US!" Very rude and unprofessional. Go literally anywhere else. They're overpriced anyways. Customer Service desk = Closed due to staff shortages Employee's attitude when I asked if someone could cash in my change = puerile The employees want higher wages, the products prices have been raised, so the customers are paying way more. The reviews I've seen on this Kroger are a bit rough and negative, and I get that: I wasn't expecting a lot from this chain grocery store. But as an out-of-towner and someone who is always hunting for healthy and gluten free and sugar free options, I was blown away (in a positive way!) by what this market had on the shelves. It's a medium sized market and I'm not saying it's the best I've been to, but I found a good meal at low prices. Plus, the place was packed with folks from the local area so clearly people are voting in favor of this market with their feet. The management doesn't speak upon matters that happens and relays messages to other employees instead of speaking to the person it's about. They allow employees with "seniority" to run their store and get people written up even if it's an obviously an issue Sherri Anderson has had it out for a few employees for the longest and gets them written up and put on 90 day probation for taking their allowed lunch break. Management Cuts hours so they can get a bonus and leaves people short staffed mostly on the front end and they don't care they just sit and watch as lines get long and customers get impatient. I ordered a pickup on the app and they didn't give me half of what I ordered. At least they didn't charge me for things I didn't get it's just annoying that I have to make a second trip because they didn't tell me. They just put the groceries in the trunk and I didn't see them until I got home where I saw lots of stuff were missing. read more

I dealt with a very rude manager who said I could not sit at a bench to wait for an uber after shopping there. I did nothing wrong what so ever but opened a rock star to drink. I have never in my life felt so mistreated by any business I have shoped at. I literally just left the check out 2 minutes before then. Take the time to look at their restrooms which are in a secluded hall by the customer service desk which are always beyond filthy. Their employees touch your food in those things. I can not understand why the health department does not shut them down based on that. I am dead serious look at them before ever even thinking shopping here. Obviously their cleaners can not clean. Much like their management lack customer relation skills. If you take the time to look at the surfaces of the restroom and can feel good shopping in a place like that ,I can only look funny at you. Overall I like this store and often stop by when going to/from Peoria. Glad to have the seafood department as well. However, someone needs to explain to the seafood manager and ALL seafood department employees what is expected when selling live oysters in the shell. First of all, live oysters are only edible when alive. I dont know how many times Ive had to throw away the oysters they sold me the very same day because they are not only dead but spoiled. The last time the guy picked them up 3 or 4 at a time and put them on the plastic tray. NO! The only way you can judge if they are still alive is to check to make sure they are closed tightly; to feel their INDIVIDUAL WEIGHT (a lite feel or hollow sound when tapping the shell means dead); and even to smell. One at a time. Also, they should be discarded NOT PLACED ON SALE when they are about 10 days from the harvest date on the box they came in. You CANNOT PUT DEAD OYSTERS ON SALE...you must toss them out. I would buy 2 dozen oysters every visit IF THEY ARE FRESH AND ALIVE. I dont like throwing away 2 dozen dead oysters along with the $12 I spent for them. Feel each one for weight (to make sure they still contain the ocean water inside), tap it against another oyster and see if its hollow, and smell if in question. Pretty simple. DO IT PLEASE or stop ripping off your customers and possibly making them very sick (eating an old oyster can be life threatening). Absolutely done with the East Peoria Kroger. I get tired of the limited stock at the smaller Washington and Morton stores, but I have had it with East Peoria Kroger. The employees are rude and apathetic. I almost always used the self checkout lane because I could scan and bag faster than the regular cashiers, but once in awhile I had too many items for self checkout. On my last visit, no bagger (he was at the next lane helping someone with way fewer items than me) and when I couldn't keep up, the cashier just stood there staring at me instead of helping me. I went to "customer service" to talk to the manager where the unprofessional lady there with the gawdy purple hair was of zero help to me. She has an attitude problem. The only employees worth a darn there is a a guy named Wes, one of the ladies in the floral department (don't know her name) and another woman who manages the self checkout sometimes (don't know her name either but it's not the woman named Julie). As another reviewer pointed out, the employees like to hang around the front of the store smoking. Seriously, Kroger managers, designate somewhere else for your smoking employees because customers don't want to see it or smell the smoke. read more

I won't ever trust them with my prescriptions ever again. I was Prescribed Albuterol puffers for my Asthma. Fall arrives, due to my chronic allergies my chest closes up MUCH more often. My chronic allergies/allergic asthma is always way worse in the fall. Even though I have refills your Pharmacist won't give me anymore Albuterol bc it's bad for my heart-per him. My heart is fine, never even had so much as a palpitation. I've noticed what is bad for my heart, not being able to breathe. So, now, I'm completely out of puffs. My chest is closed up but no puffer. So I'm going to spend until I can go see my Dr, LATER IN THE COMING WEEK AS THIS IS SATURDAY!! unable to breathe properly. He said he'd give me one puffer if I could talk to the Nurse first so I left her another message, still no call back. If I go to the ER, guess what they'll give me, ALBUTEROL. If I go to Prompt Care, guess what they'll give me, ALBUTEROL. The Dr I see has never mentioned any other med other than puffers. But I'm the one that has to suffer..I tried again last night around 8pm to obtain my prescribed medication of Albuterol. I told the Pharmacist that I have Chronic Allergies & Asthma, he just fussed at me. Told me that it was too much Albuterol. He then changed his story and replied that my Dr office never called him, previously he said for me to talk to my Dr. I told him that I'm getting a Lung Test done & he could see that my Dr had called in Generic Singulair. It's either Albuterol or Dead. I just left. It's taken all my energy just to breathe let alone argue with a Pharmacist. So all of my meds are getting pulled from this Pharmacy today and called in elsewhere. I am convinced he doesn't know how Asthma works especially not Allergic Asthma. I just had a horrible experience at this establishment. I came in to purchase a gift card to Texas Roadhouse and I encountered an employee who wasn't too kind. Because my mom previously worked at Kroger, I went to put in her phone number and my cashier, Minda, did not acknowledge it. Then when I asked if the rewards went through she said "What? Idk, we already got past that part." and started clicking the button fast. You could tell she had an attitude with me and was annoyed. Then I went to enter it again and she canceled it, but after looking up at the screen I saw that it finally went through. She was very rude and her attitude was not the greatest. I would not recommend going to her lane at this Kroger. Look for a nicer cashier. Not to mention another employee came over to get some hand sanitizer, and she complained and said that someone must have taken hers. Then the guy said "Yeah this is Kroger, someone probably stole it" what a horrible way to broadcast your company! Never shopping here again! read more
