This is our go-to for groceries. We have been using their pick up pretty much all of the pandemic and really enjoy it. They call you when your order will be late and there's even been times we've told them we can wait until the next day to get our groceries. We always tip them and have a good experience. I also like how you can get points by buying gift cards- we wait for the 4x points and buy gift cards to things we already will buy from like restaurants we know we will end up eating out at and stores we will end up buying from. It's a nice system because we are saving that money for those stores and getting points for it. I also worked here years ago, as did my wife and two of our friends. It's a good place to work. With their northward expansion next door into a space formerly occupied by a defunct retailer, this is probably now the largest Kroger in the Mid-South. I have noticed that the selection and variety of products have likewise increased. That being said, I definitely don't appreciate this store tolerating the disruptive misbehavior and loud shenanigans of groups of roving, unsupervised, adolescent boys, who apparently have too much time on their hands. read more

5 minutes ago Please be careful. I bought some meat from this Kroger today I bought some turkey and cheese from the deli. The store power went out yesterday for several hours. I was in the store yesterday when the power was out but for some reason, I forgot I purchased the turkey. I didn't smell it at first when I got home. The odor was so foul. It was obvious that this meat has spoiled the store know that the power was out for several hours. Deli meat needs to be chilled or cool. They left that same spoil food out to sell. I purchased the meat. I opened it up to prepare it to eat. Oh my God the odor almost knocked me out I then wrapped it back up. I got in my car and took it back to the store. I asked for the store manager or someone in management to discuss the issue. It was a matter of saving lives this meat could possibly kill someone they need to throw all of that meat out from yesterday when the power went out. The cashier took me to someone that suppose to be the manager. He was very rude. Since he decided not to help me or do anything about the issue, I called the 1 -800 number and reported the store safety. I will not buy any meat from the deli until it can be verified that the meat has been thrown out and they have new meat. They are being cheap and not thinking about the safety of their customers not good. read more

Not sure why this location always get negative reviews. One of my favorite Kroger locations in the Memphis area friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile to help. The remodel they did on this store last year really made this location better and they always have a great selection of stuff in this store as well. Anyone who's had a bad experience with this place should give it another try they really do a great job with this store. read more

11-4-25 I was there around 8 am at the self check out. There were 2 other customers checking out their stuff. The scanner did take 20 items of the same product. So, I asked the clerk for assistant. She looked at me like she did not want to be bothered when she was not really doing nothing. She was a short person, short hair, in her 50s, and white. She was not friendly at all. She helped but made an comment that it was not that hard to use the scanner system. She also was asked for help with another customer. She shaking her head to that customer. What kind attitude is that? She needs go home. Management needs to take notice of bad customer services to the customers. read more

Online curbside ordering is awful. When you try to call, no one answers, including trying to reach a manager. I placed an order that should have been filled yesterday at 12, was called to let me know it would be 5 to 6 more hours. I said fine, so I can pick up at 6. I was told they would text me when it was ready. I never heard anything back from them. Now it is 9am the next day, and no one is answering. It has been ringing for 35 minutes. The only reason I ordered online is because I'm sick with the flu, and do not want to go in the store, possibly contaminating someone else. The only good department is the pharmacy. read more

I should have been prepared come into Kroger at 1pm the weekend before Mothers Day. They only have 2 lines open with look like teenagers working and they was just playing and talking to each other with no concern of the customer. I stood in line over 30 minutes. Pretty good shopping here. It's my local shop when I don't need to buy in bulk aka at Costco. I like how they highlight local farms produce with a separate table and I try and buy veggies from here to support the initiative. I also like that there always seem to be enough staff here working in different sections so that I've never had to walk around trying to find help. One Con however is that I recently tried the self-service checkout option and OMG, it was a challenge compared to other self-service options I have used. I took away my bag after finishing swiping the products but it wouldn't let me pay until I put the bag back - not sure if what the point there was? Also the machine I used kept giving me an error with my credit card chip. Still will keep going back as lovely service and proximity to my house can't be beat. Decided to give these guys a try for pick up. My order was supposed to be ready at 6pm and I come between 6-7pm. I got there right at 6:35pm and finally got my order in my car over an hour later. No communication yo me that they had not had a chance to pick it yet although I placed order around noon. If there was communication I would not have any issue and I could have come back the next day or when they were better staffed. A young man came out to say sorry for the delay to many of us after about 40 minutes and he assured me it would be just 10 more minutes. It was about 25 more minutes not 10. I even asked him "are you sure just 10 more minutes? If not that's okay and I'll come later as I need to get home". read more

Well, they finally finished the remodeling of this place and it looks great. It's now like The Fresh Market but bigger and cheaper. Bigger seafood, meat and produce sections along with a greatly expanded and nicely organized organic food section. Great selection of cheeses and freshly baked breads and the addition of a sushi section. I love the Fresh Market but it's expensive, crowded and often doesn't have everything I need when I shop. It's nice to see Kroger is finally reacting to the onslaught of these "boutique" style grocery stores. read more

This pharmacy consistently does not fill all our prescriptions. Even when we call to make sure all will be filled they still only fill some of them. They are usually quite rude about it and and they won't even apologize. read more

I was grocery shopping and asked a deli clerk if they would reduce the price on a cheesecake and she acted first as if she didn't want to be bothered to help me. Then she said she could not reduce it until tomorrow and that she had told me this the day before. When I tried to explain that there was a difference in what she remembered telling me and what I remembered her telling me as to when they would reduce the price on an item she walked away. I should have immediately called for a manager. I am certain it is Kroger policy to reduce items 1 day before the expiration date. That is what she told me today. But, unfortunately when I spoke with her a few days ago I understood or misunderstood her to say she could reduce 2 days before the sell by date. This incident happened today 12/12/2023 and I wish I knew her name so she could be reprimanded. There were 2 employees working together and one was a nice Muslim lady who could tell you the name of the other rude employee because she witnessed the incident. Either way, a good employee should never have treated a customer this way. When an employee treats customers poorly and argues with them they should probably get a new job. I can certainly tell you that I won't be spending my money in this establishment again. read more

Could it be? Do I enjoy grocery shopping? Yup lol I do. I tend to frequent several different Kroger's and for some reason this is one of the better ones that I like to shop at. First they have a gas station, which is always a plus if you save up your kroger fuel points. Second, the store itself is pretty big. They have a lot of variety and different departments that for the most part you can find what you are looking for. Third, customer service is great. I have always had pleasant experiences with the staff at this location. Fourth, two redox machines are located inside which is nice if you want to pick up a movie after you are finished shopping. And lastly, it is located around several different stores. So you have the option of spending the day shopping. All in all I am a fan of this place! read more

Kroger has really gone to the dogs now. My store now has only two registers available and two for a small number of items. They are trying to get customers to use the self checkout. Who in their right mind would use the self checkout if their basket is full. This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. This also means they will be putting people out of work. Holy Hell, food stores up north have nothing on this place. It's huge, well lit, well organized and has a great selection. I was wandering around checking stuff out (recent transplant to TN) and several staff members asked if I needed help and chatted with me about the move. The produce selection was amazing. They also offer a Kroger's card where you can get points towards gas discounts. read more

Rude and disrespectful! The bagger did not give me all of my items. I didn't realize this until I got to my car. I went back in and told him that I didn't get all of my things. The deli women are the rudest ever. You will not get any fried chicken at the deli because they only cook to order and unless you have a big order they will not cook you any. I was there yesterday before 11am I walk up to the deli and see nothing in the glass window case but I see a whole tub of chicken that has been cooked. I asked if I could get any of that chicken and the rude one said nope that is for an order. I responded by saying are you going to cook anymore? The rude one said when ever they pick that chicken up I will make some more. My point is if you want to increase sales you box that chicken up for the order and cook more fried chicken for the normal people that order while there. Someone could make tons of money if they set up a fried chicken stand out in front of Kroger cause they will never have any in the Kroger deli. read more

It's a good store, we live near by and it feels like your neighborhood store not like all the running around Walmart gives you. I like the drug store, I was waiting in line with my 2 very tired children and an elderly man jumps right in front of me.. As I waited for another 10 min the pharmacist came from around the corner and offered my children some lollipops to comfort them, that was going way beyond your pay!! read more

I come to this location literally every night. The staff are very nice and it can be kinda messy at times. My only problem with this place is the fact that I've picked up food past expiration date before. It gets annoying since I have to go back and return it. (Didn't look at the dates until after I got home, but now I check) It gets real busy around the afternoon. read more

This is the closest grocery to my house and I usually go here when I have a need for a full shopping trip. It is not my favorite, just a normal grocery, but they usually do have everything I need and this store has expanded its specialty items. That said, my wallet was taken from my purse here. This review is for the florist department. The manager of this department is rather rude, impatient, and completely unhelpful. I made the mistake of ordering an arrangement of a dozen roses for Valentine's Day...I was quoted $39 as opposed to the bunches in the case that were $19. OK, fine. Valentine's day comes and I pick up the arrangement...to my shock, it is $59! I ask the manager why the discrepancy...she insists I was mistaken about what I was originally quoted. She also mumbled something about the price of the vase, a generic one at best. Since I had no other choice, I just took the damned thing. The kicker was that after two days, it already started dying! Kroger newly remodeled parking lot, expanded produce and organic foods sections. Lovely cheese counter with helpful staff and fresh sushi. Nice olive bar. Friendly deli counter help with hot or cold choices. Update: rude lady at floral department overcharged for flowers and after 2 days they are already dying so disappointing. The pharmacy has a drive thru and the staff is very helpful. Great deals for extra fuel points when you transfer a Rx or buy gift cards. Steep fuel discounts make it such a bonus to rack up your weekly grocery bill here. They always have many check out lanes open. If you do not see a product you need especially if it's a dietary issue the manager will order it for you!! This is probably one of my favorite stores in Memphis in general. I love to browse the seasonal items and greeting card section. The seafood is fresh and the butcher will cut meat the way you need it. All in all, I feel lucky to have this store right by our house. read more

I have lived up north also and they have bigger stores that are ore well lit than this Kroger with more and better selections. I guess it depends on whether you are from a bigger city or the sticks. Kroger has a monopoly here with prices too high. Only other choice is Walmart, Target or Whole Foods on Poplar. read more
