I have shopped at Kroger on Byhalia rd in Collierville TN for many years. I hate to say I will not be back. They have this woman ,,she says she the store manager. I sure hope not. This woman is rude and very unprofessional. I have heard her body shame her employee and customer's alike. When you talk to her and your white,, she will be intentionally rude. And make bad slurs. I was born with a speech problem she made fun of me. She has upset me so bad that as long as she is store manager or what ever she is. I wont be back. Let's all go krogering because it's usually the best way to shop. They have wonderful deals weather in store coupon offers by mail or phone app. Their select deals are nice. Even if some of their products are not on sale they are still reasonably priced. Not only are their grocercy products great. The store is kept very clean well stocked & also have store associates who are very helpful friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to their customer service and hospitality. I love the fact they have Uscan stations as it eases the stress of either a long Chalk Outline or rude cashiers. But I haven't ran into any rude cashiers at Kroger yet. They're also friendly attentative and fast. While you may be asking why I don't use a checkout lane. I just have a personal preference of scanning it myself. When I really don't want to shop or scan any groceries myself. They also offer pick up of your grocery order. read more

This review is for the meat department. My wife just purchased almost 4 lbs of chuck roast. It was on sale. Date sold by still have several days left. What a surprise when I took off the plastic wrapper. Hidden behind the sticker was brown and crusty looking patch of meat. The meat smelled sour. Considering the label stated "never frozen" I can't imagine that dry patch being freezer burn. I will not say the meat was sold intentionally when it should have been discarded, but here we are. Super gross. Never buy meat here. read more

Love coming here! Their vegetables and meat are always top notch. I love going to their deli for their awesome Boar's Head. Their cheese area is a also amazing and I have learned a lot about what types of cheese I like thanks to these guys. I love coming here and will always pick here over other places. read more

Ordered online, delivered within 2 hours, which was amazing. The only problem is that I didn't have the option to swap the unavailable items for something similar, rather than identical. While I appreciate the effort in wanting to get me exactly what I asked for. I just didn't need the exact brand/type of bread yeast/sugar or flour, in my shopping cart. And Since those exact items weren't available, I was refunded (thank you) I went to the same Kroger to get the item on the shelf below. First world problems. Speedy, and efficient service. Don't shop here. They treat their employees like dogs. They even turn off the air conditioning at night forcing the overnight stockers to sweat like mules. They also tell overnight employees to NOT take their lawfully entitled to breaks because they quote, "have to much to do". I'll shop at WalMart from now on, as terrible as it is. Crazy amount of people on a Sunday afternoon. We decided to do self check out which saved the day as the lines were really long. Got some ribs for lunch that were on sale. A bit dry, but fine. Not much sauce on them either. Gonna have some peeled shrimp cocktail tonight that I got there for only 5 bucks. Looked good. Hopefully it'll be good and I don't get food poisoning. I can't tell you how much I love the clicklist grocery pickup!! It's crazy convenient and it's especially great on a 37* drizzly day, these folks get 5 stars from me. As for the store itself, this has been my Kroger for decades, and they keep it fresh, clean and lots of friendly folks when you need them. Lots of great parking, open 24/7 and you always feel safe and welcome here. Worst supermarket in the country, much less Collierville, TN. The staff for the most part have a lousy attitude, and the woman that is behind rge deli counter on a Saturday morning at 8AM is pig ignorant and dishonest. I love how shexrefuses to serve me before 8 AM, yet when a friend of hers comes in she not only serves them, but lifts sliced meats off the scale to print a cheaper sales ticket for them. I kid you not. Numerous complaints to in-store management go nowhere, so I will be addressing my very valid complaints with their HQ. read more

This store is a close tie for one of the worst customer service retail store. At the deli, the staff is slow and don't really care for customers. Stood at the counter with no other customers. The employee looked at me and continued doing clean up for about 5 mins before coming to ask me what I want. The Dairy section is even worse. Asked a Kroger employee if a certain product was in stock. He looked at me and mumbled some unintelligible word before hiding himself in the back of the store, He came out a min later and proceeded to ask a customer if she knew if the product was available. Of course the customer told him that she does not work at Kroger. I tried calling to speak to a manager but to no avail. No one ever answered the phone. read more

News flash Coke Zero is a very popular drank in the 12 oz bottles. It you love driving up and getting your groceries, go somewhere else for Kroger Pick Up because this one isn't the one to mess with. Awful service, leaves items out and still charges you for it, not ready at scheduled time and management doesn't care. My review is based solely on the "customer service" I received today at the Fuel Station. I pulled up to the pump and proceeded to go to the window as I wanted to pay with debit. After standing there for about a minute, the attendant not even acknowledging me at all, she finally says "Yes ma'am?" I asked her could I please get $25 on pump 4. She pulls the tray in, without saying a word to me. I'm not even sure why she pulls the tray in as she hasn't even instructed me to do anything? So she pushes it back out and I put my card in there. After she runs my card, she again doesn't instruct me to do anything. Doesn't say a word to me. So I take my card and walk off. Now, I should have known I needed to put my PIN in, but it honestly slipped my mind. She should have told me. So she FINALLY talks through the mic as I'm walking away and tells me to enter my pin. I do so and continue on my task of getting gas. Well, I didn't need the entire $25 to fill my tank up as it only took $22.48. So, I go back to the window now to inquire if the remainder of the $25 will be put back on my card. She again does not say a WORD to me. But instead hands me a receipt. Irritated at this point, I say "So is that a yes?!" She says "It will go back to your card". Honestly, this was such a terrible experience I probably won't even go back to this Kroger. So, thank you Vernell for the total lack of customer service for no reason at all. Maybe this just isn't your line of work, you know.. if you can't work with the public and all And yes, I did call the manager and complained immediately. I tend to frequent this Kroger just as much as the Farmington one. It is pretty big and at times not as busy. I am always met with great customer service and the store is always stocked fully, at least when I go. Plus, it has a gas station and it is in a shopping complex that has a Kohl's. What more can I ask for :) read more

This is the worst Kroger I have even tried to shop in. I was in the store at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, October 30. There were 2 check out lanes open with at least 8 customers waiting in those and in the self check out lines! The produce department had no Romaine lettuce or cucumbers. I had to go to Walmart to complete my shopping! The coupons that saved me $1.50 was not worth the effort. I give up on this Kroger location. read more

It is hard to trust the fruit from Kroger. I have tried to be patient and freeze the fruit within a few days of buying it, but this last buy I got a large pack of red seedless grapes and as I took them out to clean them, the inside of the bunch was the worst amount of mold I had seen yet by far. I turned the package over and it had January 2022 on it. It is March. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

A few years back this Kroger was expanded, and it has been a hot mess since. The layout is unlike any grocery store I've seen before, and the order of products makes no sense to me. Some items are actually in multiple places in the store, which is even more confusing. Generally I actively avoid this store and prefer to shop at the Kroger on Houston Levee and would give this one a one star review; except that this store is much larger and carries products the other Krogers do not. I find myself having to shop here every 4-6 weeks just to get some items that I can't find at other stores. This could easily be a 5-star Kroger if they would just fix the layout. While shopping today, I could not locate an item I had previously sourced from this location. While standing in the aisle continuing the search, a Kroger associate inquired if they could assist. I was hesitant to share, thinking resolution was not on my side, but went ahead and shared my search with her. I was advised that it was not a fast seller for the store, however, she would go ahead and order it in for me, and proceeded to advise when the truck delivery would be, and where she would merchandise it!! Wow - this place is terrible even by Kroger standards. Both Krogers in Collierville are poorly run and crowded (you wouldn't think this would even be a thing...but there aren't really any other groceries in Collierville - you know, Kroger should change their name to "Monopoly"). This one, however, cannot manage Clicklist to save their lives. Apparently, they don't know what the phrase "DO NOT SUBSTITUTE" means...they're absolutely determined to force Kroger brand junk into an order no matter what I ask for. By my calculation, Kroger owes me about $40 for garbage they added to my order that I didn't buy. What other retail location gets by with this? I've made my last Clicklist order. read more

I used to like this Kroger but I hate coming to this Kroger because it's so ungodly busy and the parking is horrendous. Some of the employees are really helpful and nice some of them aren't. The store is pretty clean but the sushi they have is pretty dang good. I prefer to go to the Kroger on Houston levee. Stay away from the fuel center here as well unless you like waiting in line forever at all times of the day. read more

I recently had a prescription refilled at the Byhalia pharmacy. Elizabeth informed me that my medicine might have a coupon available. I don't have a Smart phone, so Melissa went on-line and it so happened that my medicine was 100% off! These ladies saved me an out-of-pocket expense of $100.00 and probably more because they told me the drug manufacturer was doing a promotion for a year. I have been hitting this store almost everyday to every other day and let me tell you, they are on it! Yes I assumes not everything is always perfect but every time u am in there I have multiple employee offer to help me. When I ask for help they are SO nice and walk with me instead of pointing in the general direction. Simply amazing service. The store manager is almost always right there up front with a smile and willing to help no matter what. I just don't see this in other stores quite as often. Love it! They need competitors to move in because their pricing is ridiculous. Their meat and seafood is as high or higher than the local meat market, Thomas Meat and Seafood. Thomas sells prime grade for the same price as Kroger's choice cuts. I call that more bang for the buck. So what if you get a gas discount when you buy something there. You spend so much more on the same product that you don't save anything on the fuel or even go upside down. A clever selling technique, but in the end they are still sticking it to you. At least you don't have to stand in line at the checkout like like at Walmart, but you pay two dollars more for a dang jay of Kraft Mayo. There goes the fuel discount. Then you are in the hole the rest of the way. Also, why is gas higher here than the Houston Levee store that is 8 minutes away? Kroger has become highway robbery. read more
