Seriously, every time I go in at nights to pick up a water for the gym, I get followed around the store (by her). Then I am met with a snarky and unpleasant attitude at checkout. I also know it's just because I'm a kid (I know some cause problems) but come on, can a man not get a drink and snack in peace?! A little respect seriously goes a long way. I was here the day after Christmas around 11 o'clock and nobody was in here. I was hoping to find some 50% off Christmas goodies, but failed. I did buy two small packs of Walkers shortbread stars, so it wasn't a total bummer of a visit.

I'm so glad I went in there. While browsing the aisles quickly I was surprised at the diversity of items that they offered! They had jewelry, scarves, all sorts of miscellany. The best part of this drug store was definitely the candy aisle. So much candy. SOOOO MUCH CANDY! I could have easily spent more than 30 minutes looking through this store and all its products, but I didn't want my pizza to get cold. I definitely plan on going back to get some more delicious candy!

The service here is exceptional and I always choose it over the large chain competitors. For comparison, after leaving urgent care I mistakenly went to a chain across the street and was told it would be a two-hour wait for an antibiotic. I went to Sav-On and was in and out in less than 10 minutes (which is a way better alternative with a sick kid).

I actually ordered one on the CVS website but they haven't even shipped it yet so I had to go to a physical store and find another one. I called before going and they said the pharmacy has some. I arrived at the pharmacy, was ignored for a few minutes, and then they said they had some back there - but they did not, so I should check the front. I went to the front and the cashier said they had a few and asked me how many I wanted. I would go back to the CVS if in the area but I think I will stick to my 14 Mile one otherwise.

It's always been really broke down, but what happened the last time I visited is what caused me to write this review. I would always go to the back, where the pharmacy is located, to get my scripts filled. My insurance always allows me to get my script filled exactly 25 days after my previous prescription was filled, so I always have that in my phone and go that exact date of the month every single time, and I've been doing it that way for years. So I go just this past Friday to fill this script, and there was this new pharmacist there I had never seen before. Basically she proceeds to tell me that I'm 2 days early and she refuses to fill my script. I think to myself that this can't be right. I go home and gather the previous two bottles that my script was filled with (they were both filled by this exact same pharmacy location), and they both show that they were dated exactly 25 days apart. I took both of them back to the pharmacy and showed the pharmacist, and from there was insanity. The woman starts yelling at me that these are the rules and if I don't like it I should just come back tomorrow when a different pharmacist is working and get the script filled. I said to her very calmly that it sounds like these are her specific rules and not the health insurance rules. She continued to yell at me, in front of many customers might I add, shouting for me to leave the pharmacy. Needless to say, I took my script to the CVS in downtown Birmingham that very same day, and they filled it without hesitation. From that moment forward I vowed never to go back to that dump of a pharmacy, and I strongly recommend everyone else to do the same.
