The manager here is a very nice woman who does her best to run a good store. The employees are great people, although they do have to put in extra effort to help their less abled peers. So be patient with them. read more

Milk is always out!! Employees seem overworked and tired. Sad, Kroger, take care of your people!

New location items and interior is fairly nice and a carbon copy of another Kroger down the road. Layout is awkward there creating congestion in the isles and is the same here too. New location parking lot is way too small. Might have more spots to park but the issues of the design make it hard to navigate Most of the islands they put in are very narrow and stick too far out into the lanes to make proper turns. The parking spaces are very short leading to a lot of cars sticking out a long way into the lanes and basically making the lanes big enough for one car to get by. More congested area means frustration amongst patrons driving and trying to get into/out of spaces. Common Vehicle type appears to not have been taken into consideration during the layout. A lot of patrons in the area drive larger trucks and suvs compounding the issues. Poor lighting towards the middle as well. I will make it my point to limit my trips to this particular Kroger for these reasons. Poor choices Kroger. Hopefully, they'll make changes before too many accidents with cars and or pedestrians happens but not likely. read more

If you want to shop here you may want to bring your own wagon! This store never has shopping carts available. The carts that are available are all broken and falling apart. The entire management crew here should be fired immediately! One of the broken carts went out of control and a jagged rusty spike from the cart stabbed me causing me to get stitches. The manager here also only believes in the giant shopping carts. These carts were designed in the early 1970's and are designed for large families of 20 or more people. The newer smaller carts are much easier to use and offer 2 baskets. You can also fit triple the amount of small carts into the same area. I am officially calling for resignations of all management level employees at this Kroger. read more

Kroger - Carts - Grocery Near Me - Arlington, Tennessee

Dumpster fire. It's the only way to describe this place. While trying to park, I had to navigate around a stack of carts in the middle of the isle. To go around them, I had to wait on 2 employees to get out of my way. One actually eyed me like I was doing something wrong but had no intention of actially moving the crats. Finally parked, shopped for half an hour and came out to see the carts are still there blocking people from getting out. If anyone reading this has the means to open a grocery store, please do. You are guaranteed to get all of the customers from this area. read more

If I could give Kroger pharmacy in Arlington negative stars I would. Not only are you going to wait FOREVER to even be acknowledged, they openly lie... I dropped off a prescription today and after waiting 30-40 minutes for it to be filled, I return only to be told "it was written for the wrong strength." I then tell them, it is for a dog and she tells me it doesn't matter it is written at the wrong strength. I went to my truck and contacted my vet and he said he didn't know what that meant. So I went to the pharmacy drive-thru (my truck is now loaded with groceries) to get clarity and I'm told that it doesn't come in that strength. Well, it does, they just didn't have it (this is lie #1). Not only did they lie, they had the audacity to be rude! At first she tells me that she heard the other person working in there say it doesn't come in that strength (lie #2). But when I repeat the conversation verbatim, she says "well that's saying the same thing." It's definitely not. To make matters worse, my vet texts me and says he has it cleared up. At this point she obviously doesn't care to keep customers because she says do you just want your prescription back and I take it. I will NEVER get a prescription filled here again and my shopping days at Kroger for anything, anywhere are officially over!! I don't know why they are investing money on a bigger store in Arlington, eventually no one is going to shop there. I wish Walmart would open a neighborhood market or an Aldi would open out here, this Kroger would go out of business... read more

Went to pharmacy for syringes. Tech was rude and ignored my "thanks anyways" comment after she told me "we don't have those". it's fine but maybe the pharmacy techs should be a little more friendly. read more

I have lived in many cities across the U.S. and had many different grocery stores to select from and they were all good. I moved here three years ago from Knoxville and had a selection of grocers; Publix, Trader Joe's, Three Rivers Market, Butler and Bailey, Whole Foods, Turkey Creek Kroger and The Fresh Market. All of these are outstanding. I moved here and shopped at Lakeland Kroger which was a shock. But, then I went to Arlington and to my horror I saw what I can only describe as the inner sanctum of grocery stores; dirty, junky, end caps every where, aisles cluttered, empty shelves and rude employees. This store should be leveled it's so bad. There is no selection of grocery shopping. I live in Fayette County and avoid Oakland at all costs. This is tragic. read more

Thanks Kroger flower department. You sold my granddaughters corsage from a case with a sign that says "do not sell to anyone but the person who ordered it" and threw together a skimpy little replacement and charged us $25.00 for it. We promised our granddaughter a corsage or we would have walked. The lady even told my wife "I knew I shouldn't have sold it " but she did anyway. This is just another reason that many Arlington residents go to the Lakeland Kroger to shop. - Ron Berenato, dissatisfied customer. UPDATE: The replacement corsage DID look cute on her. read more

ARLINGTON KROGER PHARMACY. This is by far the worst pharmacy we have ever been to. There seems to be a lot of turmoil between the employees and very badly managed. Nobody ever seems happy and we have watched how they treat customers not to mention ourselves. We have an ongoing RX to be picked up at the same time every month and in two years has not ever been ready and consistently we are told to come back in an hour and when we do, then are told they are out of the meds. No exaggeration. We have spoken to the Manager not once but many times. Dont waste your time. read more

Besides that fact that this store is ridiculously undersized for the community that it serves, my review is inspired by their click list option. On numerous occasions, we've tried to utilized the free pickup. We'll order things like red wine vinegar, apples, garlic powder, seltzer water, and allow substitutions... all of which go "unfulfilled". I've even ran in during the pickup and all of these items are in stock. We usually order in the morning, and we're given an afternoon pickup window of 3-4. We show up at 3. The order doesn't come out until after 4. This option is a colossal waste of time, and the opposite of convenient. Not only do we have to wait 40 minutes - 1 hour for half our order to come out, we also have to enter the store to purchase the rest of what we need. There's no point to this "service". LAZY WORKERS! read more

This is the worst Kroger EVER! I went in on a Friday evening to buy salmon, and the meat and seafood counter was completely empty and closed! Really? There are nothing but long lines, always! They are always out of everything, and now I have to put my groceries on the check out belt, and occasionally sack my own groceries! BS! I'm completely done with this Kroger! read more

Worst Kroger.... dirty, literally stinks when you walk in the door, read the other reviews.

In the evening of 9-9 I was at the Kroger in Arlington, TN. As I was using the self checkout I noticed an associate, Marilyn (black female), staring at me. I assumed she was doing so because I scanned an item incorrectly. After a few seconds I look up and noticed she was still staring at me. I asked her if there was a problem, in which she replied condescendingly "I was wondering the same thing." I continued my purchase as she stood by, continuing to stare. As I was leaving the self check out I walked up to Marilyn to see her name tag. She began to shout obscenities at me to the point that another employee had to intervene. Marilyn's rude and unprofessional attitude needs to addressed. I worked at a grocery store for over 10 years and never witnessed anyone behave like Marilyn. read more

I've been shopping at this neighborhood Kroger store for nearly 5-years now and was pretty satisfied with the cleanliness and customer service. However, I noticed lately that there aren't as many cashiers or checkout lines open but there has been an increase in the number of self-checkout registers. It's almost like management is trying to force its customer to use this method over actually having a cashier to checkout our groceries. This DOES NOT work for me and I don't like the inconvenience of it. Please get back to great customer service Kroger. Arlington Resident read more

So went to pump diesel this morning and had to give up after pumping just under 3 gallons in 5 mins. This is not the first time I complained about super slow pumps and have not been buying gas from Kroger because of it but I was on E this morning I stoped at Kroger. The 3 dollars did get me across the street to another gas station. You guys consistently do not meet the minimum expectation! Listen to your customers and put a review button on your Kroger website. Seems to be difficult to find. had to go here to leave a review. read more

Kroger really needs to up their game. This store is disappointing in more than one area. Flies in the cheese, fancy Breads that is not cooked all the way or is moldy before the expiration date. Pre-ordered party plates that are not ready when promised and take yet another hour to get done. These things are not acceptable. read more

If you live in Arlington and want to buy groceries for the week, go somewhere else. It's ridiculously undersized for the amount of families in the area. I haven't been able to complete my grocery list for about 2 years now. The staff has always been fine, the entire issue is the small size, no variety. Cheese varieties about the same as a gas station, fresh meat, seafood and fish selection is comically poor, produce section has the basics only, and the deli section has nothing different than you'd have found at a 1973 Big Star. Reminds me of a rural SuperLo store with higher prices. If you need Rice a Roni or commercial children's cereal, it's fine. I don't care for Walmart, but it ends up being a quicker grocery trip to drive to their Oakland store since I can get everything in one trip. Congrats Kroger, you've driven me to another grocery I don't care for. Just build a bigger store already. read more

This continues to be one discombobulated Kroger. Cluttered impassable aisles, general disarray, not very clean and just underbilt. Line staff work hard but there must be an absence of leadership...seems like it is a disposable property. Sad situation. You get what you get Arlington. read more

This Kroger is to small it's like going to an obstacle course and I'm tired of it. They doing all this online ordering and the only place they stage the carts in in the aisle next to the vitamins. I had to move that crap out of the way. If not that the aisle are to small to put food in the middle of the aisle. This store is terrible, to small need more than new checkout machines need totally redone. read more

We are big fans of our neighborhood Kroger. We head there for grocery, pharmacy and banking needs. We see the same smiley faces working all the time. And their pharmacists are the friendliest I've ever seen. My only complaint with Kroger location is their meat & poultry selection. We avoid buying any meat or poultry there altogether. read more

I absolutely LOVE this neighborhood Kroger. Everyone has their opinion and often times local residents of the Arlington community give negative reviews for various reasons especially on the nextdoor social page. I've lived in Arlington for 5 years and will not shop at another Kroger. The management is friendly, courteous, and above all attentive. One manager even noticed I was walking with a limp after a torn Achilles injury. Brian in the deli is the most professionally polished hometown meat man I have ever met. And it's awesome that a lot of the local kids get their first job there. Of course they are young people so their attention sometimes focuses on each other and not the customer. But the other day I had a kid that would not give up until he helped me find old bay seasoning. There was even another off duty young lady there that chimed In and told us to go to the seafood dept. Sadly enough we are building in Eads,TN and will be moving soon. I will still make the trip to my neighborhood Arlington Kroger. read more

I just left this store at 4:39 pm on Sunday, June 17, 2018. I used the self check out portal and needed assistance voiding an item. Debra was the Kroger employee overseeing the self check out. She was speaking with another Kroger employee at a self check out counter closer to the front. I waited a little bit and then waived my hands above my head just to get her attention as I was not sure she could see we needed assistance--she was not paying attention and just chatting from our vantage point but may have been helping the other employee. We were two kiosks further back. She saw me, sort of huffed, imitated me in a very rude manner waiving my arms to get her attention and rolled her eyes muttering. I apologized for making her angry and said I was not sure you saw us when you were speaking with the other employee. She replied very rudely and clearly irritated, " I was not talking and YOU AIN"T PISSED ME OFF YET!!", scoffed and walked away complaining. I am sure they're must be security footage at the kiosks. Terrible customer service, rude, and lack of supervision. I have lived all over the world and have lived in many different cultures, however, I am always disappointed when I feel that I am being dismissed based on a different skin color (just my opinion in this case). And the lack of professionalism in such a large organization speaks volumes about the organizational philosophy and climate. read more

Smaller store then most Krogers. They got rid of the make your own 6pk beer, which is a big (-) in my book. I travel to Oakland Kroger due to the beer selection and the size. Small store, not much selection on items. If you don't see it here, go to the other Krogers and you will find it. read more

I experienced the worst service of any Kroger I have ever experienced tonight. The customer service was awful, the self proclaimed supervisor is clueless and I will NEVER return to this location. I shopped at Kroger on Friday afternoon which is a very busy time. I checked out at self check out. The Kroger employee was so helpful and upbeat. I had forgotten an item and had gotten all the way through checking out but not closing it, I asked him if I could run and get the item, he joked with me and placed a handcart up on the scanner to hold my aisle open until I returned. Upon return, I checked that item and finished checking out and the employee noticed I had a cast on my foot. He asked what happened, was very concerned, hoped I became better and had the cast off soon so I could get around better. He was a really nice guy throughout my entire checkout process even though it was the busiest time of the day, he made the shopping trip worth the extra time and effort. read more
