Kevin gives good, old-fashioned service that is reliable and friendly! To start out, I conducted a little research on my own to find just the right printer for my very small office of just one (me). I needed a solid black laser printer to replace my old beast that had grown buggy and outdated after 15+ years. The printer needed to be able to accept a few special paper modes. What I was seeing online for the prosumer models just wasn't cutting it, so I reached out to Kevin. He researched and got back very quickly with a e-brochure about the perfect little laser printer for me. It was a brand not seen in the big box stores, and came a surprisingly affordable price. He got it in the first shot. I'm glad I hadn't hesitated, since I had been worried he wouldn't be available to assist such a small customer. He treated me like I'm just as important as any big client! I decided my budget did not allow to opt to have the replacement toner cartridge here on hold, and am sitting with the original cartridge for now (but I only do a small amount of printing). You can trust Kevin to give you the products you need, and service that is unsurpassed! And great service in copier support is hard to find! What he offers is certainly not available if you decide to go and buy online or at Staples. I don't know about you, bu I don't have time to be dealing with tech issues because my staff and I are busy caring for our patients! And printer problems slow down our ability to perform customer service. When our multifunction printer/copier went down, I knew I needed help. I didn't want a big fancy machine again. My IT guy from eight years ago had oversold me on equipment I didn't need, and it was really expensive! I thought about going to Staples and just picking up a printer, but my IT needs a complicated by finding printers that are compatible with my dental software system. I decided to call Kevin. I had had heard good things about him, and even though I was afraid he wouldn't be able to help because I'm would be a small customer, maybe not important enough to get timely attention. He takes care of some really big printing operations too. I called him on a Wednesday afternoon, and he was out there the next day! He came out assess the situation, let me know what he could do as far as troubleshooting and fixing the old machine, and let me knew my options would be for new machines. He took the time to go through as much detail as I needed, without making things too technical. He coordinated with my new awesome IT guys to make sure that the printer would be compatible with my software, and to get everything connected as quickly as possible. After things were installed, he followed up with me to make sure things were working, and let me know that he was available for any questions. The model we decided on was a basic laser printer. The operational costs are even less because we chose to upgrade to a black only laser printer. We were spending so much on color cartridges that we really didn't need! Kevin let me know if I ever change my mind, or need a color printer, he had those also! I now have a service provider who can help us anytime we have an issue so that it doesn't take up my staff time if there are any printer concerns. It's not often I write a review, but the exceptional service and equipment at KRM Office Equipment and the friendly, easy-going people who work there is certainly worth letting others know about. Our firm bought a new copier several years ago. The machine was delivered and installed by KRM and never had a problem at all for a few years. Then the glass got a crack in it. Kevin came all the way to Paxton, MA and changed the glass the next day, and the cost was way less than I expected. More years went by and the copier worked perfectly - no jams or other annoyances. A few days ago, I got a small piece of paper stuck in the machine and I couldn't remove it, so I called Kevin. He explained to me how to fix it over the phone and the problem was solved in less than 10 minutes, and I'm not technically skilled. No need for a service call and no cost for the phone service.
