Sometimes I feel that the superb food quality doesn't match the ambiance, which can feel like a loud cafeteria but hey, food is priority #1. After all, if its packed, that means its good. In my experience, they have never told me that they don't have an item available, even though they have a pretty large menu. What they serve is always fresh, which can lead to some delay in service, but the food is worth the wait. Some items are so unique, which gives Hyderabad House Biryani place the edge. After 30 minutes, my husband went to pick it up, only to be told it wasn't ready and would take another 15 minutes. I called to cancel the order because of the delay, but they told me it couldn't be canceled and that the food would be ready in five minutes. Five minutes later, my husband went back, and the food still wasn't ready. When I called again, they told me the food was already ready and asked where my husband was parked so they could bring it out. Also the man on the phone said that no one was in the restaurants to pick up the food, when clearly my husband went it. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. We had waited over 45 minutes, and when I asked to cancel the order, they refused and said the food was already made. I don't even believe anymore that the food is ok to eat, so we just threw it out. Very poor communication and customer service. After this experience, I would not recommend this place. Mind that none of them spoke good English and it was extremely hard to understand them. Make sure you have time to enjoy the food. We were the only 2 ppl there and like 5 take out orders happened while we were there. Staff are friendly. Place is very clean. I got the egg biryani, the egg is hard boiled but it's got some kinda coating that is a bit chewy to get through. You get 3 eggs.Without the coating I would have loved it. It was hard to cut even with my fork. The biryani is very flavorful and fluffy. You get a ton, the bowl looks small but it filled the entire bottom half of a full size square container (if i had not eaten a bunch before doing my take out).
